Really disappointed. Thought there would be a better selection, but they are very limited. We just discovered Joe Ts on hwy 51! Wow! So much better, staff very personable and knowledgeable!

So I do some part time work with some international students. And to help language skills for foreign adults we have a cultural drinking night on occasion. Two different times I’ve had to look for some unusual and harder to find booze with very little advanced notice; BOTH times this store came through and even had choices while many other stores didn’t even know what I was talking about. It’s also a pleasant environment where they don’t mind chatting. They have earned this rating for damn sure. And I have become an avid and loyal customer!!!

We bought wine here during the ice-ocalypse. God bless these unsung heroes who came to work during that mess.

Our family had been going there for at least 15 years. Bought Black Box wine there and it was expired. Brought it back and Peter, the owner, refused to replace or exchange it. The other boxes on the shelves were expired, too! Now I won’t go there anymore. We were always a hometown family supporter, but now I’ll go anywhere but there. Check expiration dates, because he clearly doesn’t respect his customers!

Shopped here for years, great selection, great atmosphere and great staff . Willing to help however they can.

This is, IMO, the best package store in Madison and the surrounding areas. The entire staff is very friendly and certainly know their stuff. Theyre always happy to help you find the right bottle to pair with a meal or whatever occasion, and explain why, which is great. Also, the selection is definitely the largest around for both liquor and wine. Check it out if youre in the area, you wont be disappointed!
