My family loves game stop we have found good deals and we love to see whats new at game stop.

I enjoyed it when I went there just to browse games for a friends birthday I had employees walk up to me to ask if I needed help twice and I have never waited for a long time its a great place

The woman that works there and kicks customers out for not wearing a mask needs to find a new job if she’s that scared of the virus being she’s got a mask on staying over 6 ft away and behind a plastic glass she needs to find a new job I’ll just shop somewhere else from here on out

My sons like this store, whenever Ive gone in there Ive never had to wait long, theyre right there trying to find what I want or need, very respectful people

Not much going on in this mall but at least there is a SMALL GAME STOP store thats still open inside... the store was small but had some nice games on display the employees seemed very knowledgeable and super friendly...

Love this place! They happened to have a game in stock thats being price gouged online. And a collectible I wanted to get a friend. This is my stop for gaming supplies and collectibles.

Just went, everyone had mask on, and the guys working were beyond helpful and were very well informed

I had some trade-ins to do and was helped with that by Mariah. She was very helpful and pleasant and had me done and on my way very quickly.

Staff is always friendly at this store and very informative about systems and games. Every time I shop there, is always a positive experience.They recently have had a re-staffing of employees and thing seem to be much more organized.

I came in with my son to buy a game for his switch. I don’t remember the cashiers name, but he was also the assistant manager. He was rather disappointed that we were just buying the one game, half-heartedly saying “Oh, is that all we are getting today?” He then noticed what must have been his friend in the other line and told him that he had something to show him. It was a pair of chop sticks. They proceeded to talk for a few minutes while my son and I stood in line, wallet out, waiting for him to get the game out of the drawer. The longer I waited the more I realized that this person did not want my business, but would rather talk to his friend. You shouldn’t be surprised that I put my wallet back in my pocket and walked out without making a transaction. I like GameStop, but as long as customer service is like this at the Madisonville location, I will stick to online or other locations.

Ive used my local Game stop for a long time and Ive never had a problem with them that could not be fixed. I had a pre-order (game & season pass/expansion packs) that was accidentally sold out from under me. When I went to get it and found out it was gone, the manager gave me the collectors edition and an apology. They also have an assortment of toys, books, magazines, and game guides..

I bought a Xbox controller. But they didnt have the power cord. But they have great deals in there.

My kids get great deals on used games and equipment here.

Went to game stop last night and told the guy I wanted a gta 5 shark card for ps4 he even asked me if I was sure I wanted it for ps4 I said yes he printed it out and I got home tried to put the code in and fount out it was for PC not ps4 went back today to get it fixed they said they couldnt and they said its there policy to not refund shark cards he never said that last night and they refused to fix it when it was there mistake I could see if it was my mistake but I got 2 witnesses that heard me say for ps4 not PC and the guy even asked me if I was sure I wanted it for ps4 I called game stop in Owensboro Ky and the said they have to read it to the customer and make sure u know what u are getting they guy never read anything to me I will never do business with the game stop in madisonville ky again

I needed a Xbox one controller for my pc so I called first to make sure they had one. I was told they were on sale. I go there and the worker didnt know what sales they were having (hope they was new). I dont mess with Xbox usually so I asked if there was a way to plug the wireless controller into my pc when the batteries die. I assumed it would but asked. The associate and the S.A told me there was no way to do it and it could only take batteries. It didnt sound right and found it was a lie. Im not a hardcore gamer but I RECCOMEND not telling customers false information. I gave 2 stars just because they were nice.

Absolute worst GameStop Ive ever been to. They never have anything in stock the workers are rude.Update: No midnight release for the Switch, which is just stupid and poor customer service. Went to Walmart for the switch was in line at 830pm got my bracelet at 945pm going to get it later at midnight. Will cancel my preorder at GameStop.
