Its a mixed bag location.Cons: Ordered wrong windshield for first appointment, soiled visor and upholstery, left shards of glass in the vehicle, and numerous trips back to resolve the issues.Pros: Manager and senior tech were very accommodating to resolve the issues.This location failed to provide first rate workmanship but did provide good customer service and attitude.
Service was fantastic! Had to get my window replaced because of a crack caused by a rock. Was estimated two hours to finish but they were done in just over an hour. Interior was cleaned after the work was done. Post care instructions were clear and straight forward!Would recommend and go to again if I needed more work done.
They did a great job at replacing my windshield, but in the process broke my radio screen. They told me to get it replaced and they will cover the cost. Brought the bill back to them directly and they took a copy of it and said I would have a call back from Corporate within 10 days..its been almost a month now and my $2600 bill for my radio screen still hasnt been paid. Their Corporate number, no one will answer and no one will respond to emails either. Trying to consider my next step.

Unsafe installation, greasy hand touching the windshield. ? if windshield properly adhered. They charge way too much if you pay out of pocket. Almost 2 times more compared to if you have insurance coverage.
I had an appointment scheduled for a certain date and time, they waited until the appointment day and time window to call me and say they don’t have the part. What a big inconvenience. If you can use another vendor!!! Very unprofessional!

The location is going down hill. The technician refused to do the work necessary and called me complaining that he had to take my hood off to remove my windshield that was getting replaced. He had no customer service skills and was incredibly argumentative. Overall I had a very bad experience and will not return. I ended up taking my car to a shop in Chantilly and they fixed my windshield, did not call me to complain, and also rotated my tires and changed my oil for over $100.00 less than safelight quoted me. Safelight sucks!!!!!

If I could give them a zero, I would. If you care about your car, go somewhere else. They simply do not care about their customers, have the worst customer service, lie, do not take accountability for their mistakes and some of their technicians are inexperienced.
The customer service I experienced has been beyond disappointing. I was scheduled to have my glass replaced within a window of 12pm-5pm. Not only did the technician fail to show up, not a single person from Safelite Auto Glass respected my time enough to contact me to cancel. Instead, after waiting for the technician the entire day, I received a random text at 4:45 stating that my appointment had been cancelled and could be rescheduled a week later. There was no phone call or explanation. If this is representative of the service that can be expected from this company, I would recommend you look elsewhere for auto glass repair.
Great customer and fast too! Their location isnt great and leaving can be a pain since theres a one-way smack next to the intersection.
Having a cracked windshield can be quite stressful. The folks at Safelite and especially Doug, made me feel so comfortable with the work they were going to perform on my car. I dropped my car off at 10am and received a call that it was ready for pick up at 2:30pm. They even replaced my windshield wipers. I highly recommend Safelite. Their service was friendly and quick. If the crack they repair widens and they have to replace the windshield, the amount you paid for the repair is applied to the new windshield (which itself comes with a warranty).

Poor customer service. Scheduled appointments are only a reference time. You can replace the windshield 2x with OEM parts for the price being charged.I showed up for my 11am appt only to be told You cant park your truck there by a store associate who was talking to someone who was blocking the path to the only parking spot. Since I got there at 10:55, I figured theyd want it at the bay which was the whole reason I was getting out of my truck... to ask the guy chatting it up where he wanted it.After I drove around the block to find parking at another business, I went in to hand them my keys. I was told it is going to be a couple hours... What did I schedule an appointment for? They took multiple vehicles in ahead of mine only to tell me around 11:30 that they didnt have the parts to do the job and Id have to reschedule... why did I make an appointment?Long story short, the Safelite AutoGlass team was rude, failed to perform the scheduled work on time, took other customers ahead of my scheduled appointment, and failed to have the parts on stock to perform the work they scheduled. The only person who seemed reasonable was the technician, who did apologize for the issue. Sorry guy, I did not cancel because of you...I decided this franchise does not need my business or the business of anyone I know. I have scheduled my windshield replacement at a competitor who has the parts in stock and will come to me who recognizes that people have to miss work to go to these appointments.You can see in the picture the white truck that was blocking the road for the parking lot while chatting with the employee AND the parking spot I had wanted to go to.

Mobile service is fantastic. Auto glass shops have been doing it for a long time and I really wish other auto repair/service providers would start doing this. I had my truck windshield replaced and the technician (Edward) drove out to my work location to perform the repairs. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way and arrived on schedule. He was professional, explained the job to me in detail, and did a great job with the installation. No complications.

Very disappointed in this location and the customer service. When making the appointment I had to answer the standard questions about my car, sunroof - no, panoramic sunroof - no, rain sensor - yes. One I arrived at the location I didnt know if I was in the right spot or not. There was barely any marking on the ground for parking, the tall sign with the Safelite logo on it was the only thing that marked the location. The front of the building had a very faint sign that I had to walk up close to see because the since had faded it so much. It all felt very sketchy as I walked through the door that had a handwritten sign saying office on it. Once inside the gentleman behind the desk was nice and handed me the document with my information on it. Already there I saw that they had a windshield for a car with a panoramic sunroof, which obviously wasnt going to work for my car. I pointed it out and he said that he had to send someone out to check my car just in case... I may be a girl but I am quite sure that is I cant see the sun through my roof, that means I dont have a sunroof, let alone a panoramic one... He still send someone out to check, which was one employee walking town to my car, throwing a quick eye on it and walking back. Thanks for calling me an idiot.. appreciate it.With the wrong window, they could not repair my car and I was sent home with the explanation saying that they cant know exactly what windshield I need until I show up for the appointment. So all those questions about the year and make and other details are just things you dont care about and youre simply wasting my time with, thanks.I had to wait another week for repair which I then scheduled to be a mobile repair. The gentleman who showed up was great, he repaired it in less than 40 min and I was good to go after that. But this is the only thing that has earned you that second star. He really needs a five star for his service but everything else does not even deserve a one star.
Currently dealing with my windshield leaking after having it replaced 1 year ago. I called safelite customer service and I was on the phone with them for 35 minutes. For whatever reason they were unable to find any information about me or my vehicle and refused to schedule an appointment for me under warranty. I called the safelite shop direct and still no progress in finding any record of my windshield replacement. This made me very frustrated for spending a combined hour on the phone with them. Luckily I was able to find the invoice for last year in my records and called the shop directly to find out that the person I was speaking with has left for the day and no else can access their computer system! So I then called the customer service number and gave them my invoice number and finally they were able to find my info that I had given them earlier. The rep stated their system is glitchy at times and I was thankful that I had my invoice since no one would help me to fix the water leak from their replacement. To top it all off the customer service said he would need to call me back to make an appointment because their computer went down!Unbelievable experience so far with so much going wrong with safelite’s system and scheduling! Word of advice make it easier for your employees to pull customer’a history instead of the customer doing your jobs!
The repair was rushed and I was told they were busy but the employees get paid “per job” they do. So they will get it done. The chip repair literally looked worse than the original damage. The technician laughed when I told him that. He said we told you at the beginning it might not be invisible.

There were some delay and rescheduling before we could get our windshield replaced, but overall they provided good service.They do not have many parking spaces at all. Place needs more parking, working space, and more technicians; currently scheduling is quite limited.
Jose did an excellent job with my windshield replacement. He was very polite, and professional. He called me to let me know he was on his way, and also when he arrived. He explained to me the warranty and that I shouldnt wash my car for 48 hrs. Give this man a raise cause hes a great asset to your company!

I scheduled my appointment online and waited in their shop while they performed the work. They took my vehicle right in and I was out in about 90 mins with a new windshield. Although the building looks older on the outside, the inside is in very good shape so they wait did not feel like 90 mins. All in all this was a good experience.
Worst customer service I have encountered. Went through two windshields, had severe water leak, installer damaged car paint manager of this outfit give no frucck.Will never use again, not my family or friends and friends of the friends.
Had to get a windshield put in and was given the incorrect pricing information, roughly $450 (insurance would cover it if at least $500). Once they were here, late, they charged me $501.Insurance wouldn’t cover it after the fact so I went and reached out to safelite via twitter. They confirmed the error in what I was quoted and offered me a coupon for $49.95 off next time, how nice of them.Never using them again. Bad customer service to begin with (other stuff I had to go through but don’t feel like typing) and just not caring in any way.

I used them last week. They arrived on time, but they didnt have the correct windshield. The tech was going to try to get it that night from a location almost an hour away. When they couldnt make that work, they fit me in as soon as they could two days later. I appreciated his manners and effort.
One easy phone call and my appointment and insurance claim was set up. I finished my work at home, while the technician arrived and repaired my car in my driveway. I love it when I dont have to put forth a ton of effort to hire someone! Windshield looks great and my ez pass, stickers, etc are back in place on the new window.

Scheduled a morning drop off time, was told well Rams are tricky, its going to be all day, then was told that they couldnt do a mobile install, only to be caught in the parking lot (which is horrible) to be told they made a mistake and now they can. this was a Tuesday, I scheduled a mobile repair for Friday, and get a call right at 8 am, that they dont have the glass, and they need to get it from the factory. twice I was failed, for such a large company, they really need to get their act together.
Waited for over 4 hours even with a scheduled appointment. The staff took my car for a 45 minute test drive. When asked why they needed to the tech said hes probably stuck in traffic and said your gonna have to take it to the dealer. In the end they could not calibrate my camera which they mentioned could be done. They were overbooked and a few others were also told they would need to go to the dealer for calibration. It appears to me that they want the money to install the glass but cant or wont calibrate the camera due to being overbooked. Run from this place!
Edward came to my house 30 mins early and was very informative throughout the whole process. I was not home at the time but he worked with me over the phone and was very polite and professional to my wife. He even explained how some of the molding might not be able to be placed back in place although that wasnt the case. He did a fantastic job! Would definitely recommend!
Communication is an issue, nice guys, but there are no posted phone numbers to the shop. I waited 2 months for my window with several appointments canceled due to the wrong window being ordered.
AVOID this Safellite store. Ive had good experiences with other Safelite stores but NOT THIS ONE... and Cliff the manager is the reason. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Looking at some of the other reviews on this site and its easy to understand why they have a track record of poor customer service. Poor leadership trickles downstream. If you dont mind being treated like dirt, take your chances with Cliff. Otherwise... there are plenty of other businesses that would be a better choice.

I made an appointment at 2 pm. When I showed up to my appointment the person in the front desk said I was not on their schedule for that time frame and that they had me scheduled for 10 am. I never received no confirmation call with that information, I mentioned to them that I can’t be missing days at work and he kept insisting that my appointment was at 10 am. Horrible service.
I have seen better Safelites. This place was very small and not as clean as it should be.
Either to lazy to complete a job or too dumb to realize how complicated it is to repair a power door canceled appointment blamed me for the offing wrong part. They just don’t want to remove metal plate in front of regulator to replace. Too dumb to realize child window lock was engaged to test motor to see it it works. Waited 2 weeks for parts to arrive and 1/2 a sat for them to see that they cannot or won’t preform the job.

Called to change my windshield. Before they give you a price They ask too many questions about you, your email address, zip code, telephone number, weather it is home or Cell number, married/divorced .........and in the end Way higher price than any other shops that makes it impossible to consider.

Safelite van came racing down the road this morning at 8:50 am and continued to speed down a 35 mile road to the safelite location in Old town. The weather today is super wet and icy. Last thing anyone needs is a company called SAFElite killing my little family!! SLOW DOWN!

This shop installed a new windshield on my car, but did not align it correctly. They left a large gap between the top of the windshield and the frame of the car. I brought my car back and they made another appointment to fix the issue a couple days later. They said they would try to “salvage” the same windshield and reinstall it. I called Safelites corporate hq and requested a new windshield be properly installed.When I returned they took twice as long to install the new windshield as they had previously. In fact I’m typing this after waiting 2 1/2 hours so far. Maybe they will be done soon?This has been a big waste of time for me and I’m still not sure that I won’t have to come back. I’d recommend that anyone considering coming here for service look for other options.
Worst experience ever!They fix two windows and one of them doesnt go down at all. I called them and let them know, they told me to go to them to see how much it would be to get fixed when I already had paid $100 plus what my insurance paid to get it fix in the first place. I wouldnt recommend at all!
My negative experience was more with the safelite company then this particular branch. I had a technician come repair a chip that I had through my insurance. I did not like that they only give you blocks of time rather than having just an appointment time that was a little irritating. They told me that the chip was repaired and by a month later, it spread. I called safelite, they informed me that even though they didnt properly repair it, that I would have to personally repay for my windshield to be completely replaced which would now costs over 300 dollars and I would have to come to their shop to keep it at that price instead of them coming out to me. I thought they would offer a bigger discount after all, they are the ones who did not properly repair it...but they didnt care. I called Mobil Auto Glass and they quoted me for 249 and stated that they would come to where I work, no need to go into the shop. I went with them, they came to my work, replaced it in about 45 minutes while I continued to do work and the work looks great. Never again will I go with Safelite, to me, they dont care about their customers.

The worst service ever. Scheduled to change my front windshield 6 times. 4 out of the 6 times was a no call no show. Today my appointment was scheduled between 8am and 12pm. Here it is 2pm and still hasnt arrived. Insanely disappointed with the service. If I can cancel my companies account with them I would.
Service was as they said 30 min for rock chip repair for $68. They did a pretty good job I must say.
I got a chip in my windshield (2013 Subaru Outback). Within seconds it became a crack, and minutes later spread to the point of no return. I called my insurance and set up a replacement with Safelite. I ordered Subaru glass (not aftermarket). We set up a time, I took off of work and awaited the technician. I received a call from the technician within the time window given to me only to tell me that they didnt have the Subaru glass and wed have to reschedule. He stated he would find out where they could get the glass and when hed be able to come back and then CALL ME BACK to reschedule. Instead of a call back, I got an email at 6pm stating that a technician would be back to replace the glass at some arbitrary time the following week. No phone call, no discussion, just an email telling ME when and where to be. The time THEY decided was not do-able, so I called Safelite and the easiest solution was for me to just take my car to a service shop. So eventually I get a new windshield with the glass I ordered (and paid for). The service shop in Manassas was quick and friendly, but it never shouldve come to that. Thank you Safelite for having me use my leave at work to wait around for an appointment YOU scheduled for a product YOU didnt actually have and werent able to provide. At least the work that eventually got done was good work and a good product. It just cost me two days of work because you cant get your logistics straight.Ill be letting USAA know theyve made a mistake in contracting Safelite for glass claims.Special Note: This has happened twice with them. Similar issue for a side window on my Toyota (tech showed up with the wrong product, missing install pieces...had to reschedule and wasnt contacted, just told when they were coming like my schedule revolves around them. I hate sounding self-entitled, but it is ME paying MY money, I should at least be asked WHEN I can have someone come out)
