I have been looking at getting a new road glide special for the last 6-9 months carefully doing my research and checking around dealerships. Bull Run Harley was my closest dealership and the first one I went to.I had walked inside and looked around for about 15-20 minutes without a single greeting from sales staff as they were too busy outside smoking and or sitting at their desks. I went up to a salesman sitting at his desk by the entrance and asked a question about financing in which he said “I don’t know that stuff you’ll have to ask finance.” And never really got me anyone or pointed me in the direction of finance. I then asked if he could give me a trade in value on my 2007 Road King Classic with 16k miles on it. I told him I had it parked outside and asked if he wanted to take a look. He declined and said I’ll probably be able to get you like $4500 for it… which is an absolute joke. And for not even wanting to look out the window at it was a joke as well.I ended up driving an hour away to Stonewall Harley where I was greeted with open arms and had great sales staff that got me nearly double the price on trade in. I ended up buying a brand new 2021 Road Glide Special and I couldn’t be happier.

Purchased a bike 2 years ago from here, was told it had a limited factory paint scheme, was shown the 201/300 numbering next to the Harley badge on gas tank, told the bike was 100% stock and no issue. today i call about selling the bike to purchase another one, same dealer tells me the bike had a front end replaced as well as the entire bike was repainted due to an accident. none of this was ever disclosed and I was lead to believe the paint was a special edition from the factory as their salesman told me. I was then offered about $1000 less than the worst KBB value available for a trade in. when told they never disclosed this information they started giving a bunch of reasons on why they wouldnt have known this info then but somehow found it 2 years after selling the bike?

Not impressed at all. Hardly worth writing a review but here it is. On my first and only visit there on Sunday April 19, 2020 I stopped in as I had not visited this Harley Dealership yet. About 15 used bikes lined up outside and on my way into the dealership I was taking a look at them. I have to say these bikes need to be detailed BEFORE lining them up for sale. Im not talking about dust and pollen that lands on them from sitting outside, Im talking about poorly cleaned bikes that are some of the dirtiest Ive seen at any Harley dealer. As I walk inside, a salesman (I assume) is standing at the front counter leaning on it to keep it from floating away into the sunset. We exchange a few greetings and I advise him it was my first visit to this particular Harley Davidson dealership. Let me know if you need anything was all that was said before he returned to his conversation with the man behind the counter. I walked over to Motor Clothes and proceeded to pick out a shirt (I buy 1 shirt and 2 poker chips from every Harley dealership I visit). The lovely lady in motor clothes was pleasant and rung up my sale. I exit the store and again continue looking over the Ultra Limiteds and Road Glide Limiteds as Ive been in the market for an Ultra Limited. Stood there looking at the bikes for a while, other dealership employees came out for smoke breaks and to talk to an obviously well known customer. Not once did anyone ask me if I was interested in a particular bike, not once did the salesman come outside to see if I wanted to further check out a bike (pictured) and seeing as the dealership was pretty much empty of anyone besides employees I felt like I just wasnt important enough to try and sell a bike to. After leaving Bull Run Harley Davidson, I went to Patriot Harley Davidson as it was another dealership I had not yet visited I found an Ultra Limited I liked and began the sales process and financing process. Definitely a missed sales opportunity for Bull Run Harley Davidson.

I just purchased a 2021 CVO Street Glide from Bull Run Harley .The sales staff worked out a great deal including a fair trade-in allowance for my old bike and a really low finance interest rate. The staff loves what they do and it shows in the way they take care of their customers. This is the 5th Harley Davidson I have purchased from them.

Customer service was non existence. No one bothered to help me nor even greet me. And I was the only one there. When I asked about a bike, guy didnt even make eye contact and just said one sentence. I guess because my bike isnt a Harley that Im not cool enough lol. Service department on the other hand exceeded my expectations.

Craig Murray stood next to me as 2019 Road Glide Special fell when kickstand folded back. Bike fell on me and Craig moved back away from falling bike.Craig told me after 30 years in military I should learn how to accept responsibility! He was going to charge me for swapping kickstands after saying it could not be done.I am convinced the kickstand was the issue see attached picture.Spoke w Owner of Lindsey Motors Timothy Robinson. His biggest concern was me getting rid of my post! He said he would talk to Craig Murray.I received email below this am to call and resolve issue. Tim Robinson yelled dude what dont you understand! We are done.So if you get hurt no one will offer to take you to ER. Sales Manager will chastise you for threatening not to buy bike and go to ER. And owner of Lindsey Motors Timothy Robinson sees no problem with you driving new motorcycle home injured one picture attached. His idea of resolution is yelling dude its over. What dont you understand?Want to be chastised? Buy from Timothy Robinson!

The service experience at Whitts is excellent. Finding parts for my Buell can be a little tough, and shops that cater to cars dont really consider motorcycles in their policies. Whitts always seems to have the part that I need for my bike and the service and sales staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Even when Im just browsing the showroom, the sales staff are happy to just chat for the 5 minutes it takes to get my bike inspected, even though Im not buying a bike. The service staff are always willing to answer a question or talk about maintenance. Whitts employees know customer service. Very satisfied customer.

If you are in the market for a Harley, or any bike. I would highly recommend Bull Run Harley. Emily in the Sales department was amazing at getting me the 2018 FLSB. We talked on the phone, email, personal visits, for over 2 months while I got everything set for the purchase. She was patient and went above and beyond on answering my questions, getting the financing set up, and delivering the bike. The personal care did not stop at Sales, Kevin in Service department made sure all of my parts I ordered were installed in timely manner and very professional when answering my questions. Speaking of installing parts, the Parts department were also very friendly and got the parts I needed over the phone, since the dealership is little far from me. My bike broke down, called the dealership, talked to Kevin, the boys took us in right away. Discovered that they dont have the part we need, however, another dealership did. We went and got it. I bought my dream bike here over the weekend. Their friendly, honest, no pressure, helpful staff made the entire experience a pleasure. Ive purchased parts for my other bikes here over the years and always received great customer service including helping me hunt down an obsolete part to get my old scoot back on the road. I went in a few weeks ago and had some questions about one of the new bikes. Brad answered all my questions I showed up last Thursday evening about an hour before closing and wanted to check out a couple of used bikes Id seen online but didnt see them out. Emily checked and found them both stashed in the back. She got a tag and Chris got them out so I could test ride them. I rode the first one and my mind was made up. I came back in Sunday morning and Mike, Craig and Doug made the rest of the process a breeze. Im still trying to figure out how they had both bikes I wanted stashed for me lol.

Smartest Service Dept anywhere (they can literally do anything)...Most thorough Parts Dept on the Globe can find even obscure parts for your bike. Even the Clothing Dept is the warmest and most helpful you could ask for. All that, AND theyre passionately Dog Friendly! You couldnt ask for anything more in an American Motorcycle dealer. Worth the trip.

I was the only customer at the dealership. I looked at 2 used bikes. The salesman was helpful. I looked at a 2012 HD Ultraglide. The bike shook so violently at idle that I am pretty sure it would eventually cause nerve damage. When I told the salesman that the motor mounts were probably bad, he said All older Harleys shake like that.I looked at a 07 Road King next. There was something wrong with the brakes. I told the salesman. He responded with They are custom, so they will feel a little different. A little different and barely working are two different things.I figured I could work on the brakes myself if I bought it, but the bike was still overpriced by about a grand... I spoke with a guy that I assume was the manager, who never stood up to greet me and didnt even pretend that I was important enough to stop eating his lunch to talk to. When I explained what was wrong with the bike and that I would still take it if he came down on the price $1000, he looked at me as if I didnt know what I was talking about. He said, I can give you a discount on some merchandise, but Im not taking anything off the price.He then let me leave the dealership. I went to Patriot HD and bought a 2009 Road King with less miles and the brakes worked for the same price that BRHD had for their 07... from Mike Tattoo Face...Dont waste your time looking at their bikes... they clearly dont care if they sell busted up bikes.*update*Tim Robinson reached out to me to resolve any grievances... there is nothing to resolve... I explained what happened then bought a bike elsewhere. I am not trying to get free stuff... I just feel as though everyone should be treated with respect. The dealer was completely empty when I got there, and their inventory and sales management is probably why...Also, when a customer tells you that there is something wrong with a bike, dont pretend its normal... thats not a good look for Harley Davidson as a brand.Also, looking at the other reviews, most of the 5 star reviews say the same exact thing... sort of suspicious... as if they are buying their 5 star reviews... especially after my experience seemed to line up more with the other 1-3 star reviews.

The salesman at the parts counter and one of the technicians were super friendly and helpful. My husband called and asked about a part he needed so I could pick it up. The salesman had me look at the catalog and make sure it was the correct gasket that my husband meant and the tech was friendly, chatting and made sure my husband has the tools he needs to get in the tight spaces since he knew it could be tricky. Will definitely be going back to this location over Quantico Harley!

I went in for a safety inspection. I was quite surprised on how the service was. Friendly and fast. It seems like they were happy for me to be there. I felt No stress No negative vibes. He was awesome the whole way. Very responsive with emails, phone calls, and most importantly, great with test rides. I always have had metic bikes in my past and this time when I tried to go buy a new modern bike to replace my old 1982 gs850g, all of the dealerships but Harley man test rides on different bikes I wanted to try difficult or impossible. I don’t feel comfortable buying a bike for several thousand dollars without try it before. Harley seems to be different compared to others and thus they got me as a buyer and hopefully my wife. Highly recommended!

I traded in my Sportster and upgraded to a low mileage used Fat Bob. They gave me a fair value for my trade in and I got a great bike. I am having a blast. Service was great and quick and easy sale.Update: 08/12/17 Whitts offered me a $10 gift card for writing an unbiased review. Went in today to get my gift card and they said the email they sent was worded incorrectly and that it should have said $10 off a $50 purchase. They would not honor the previous email. Down grading my rating to a 3 star. I feel you should honor what you put out there.

Nice clean facility. Service department not to stellar in my opinion. Rough atmosphere for years. Parts department not as helpful today with off Harley Products. Maybe with new ownership things will improve. I hope the very best for them. I live 3 miles from this shop yet choose to travel 1 1/2 hours to Orange. Not impressed or happy that car dealerships now own 4 of the nearby Harley Davidson Dealerships. Not sure how or why HD Corporation had allowed this to happen.

I rolled my bike out on Saturday to enjoy the one good riding day we have had in the past month. Even though I keep my bike on a tender, my battery was dead. I used my H.O.G. Roadside Service and got a tow to Whitts. Kevin got my bike in quickly and kept me informed throughout the troubleshooting. The battery was absolutely dead, but they got it replaced and had me out the door with a couple of hours left to ride. Time for a new tender!

Went in yesterday with intention of buying a new 2019 Road Glide Special but knew quite quickly I made a mistake. I have been in this store in the past and had good experiences with parts and motor clothes is the only reason I didn’t leave a one star review. I was in the store on Thursday and they had the bike I want in stock. Called before going in on Sunday and they said they still have it. Me and my wife go to the store and the bike is not there but the sales guy says it’s ok they have another. Walks me to his desk and says it was a demo bike. I say I don’t want a demo but if the price is right I I would consider it. I ask how much they want and he says well let’s go look at it. We go look at it and bike is in good shape no obvious damage or abuse so I ask how much. Sales guy says well let’s go look and talk about it. We walk inside and he is distracted and stops to chat with guys in parts. I walk to the sales managers desk and ask for the price he calls sales guy to desk and they both start explaining that the bike has some extras. I ask again tell me the price. They chat a little back and forth and finally sales manager says it’s 30.5k. Whoa wait this bike new is only 27.5k. I ask why so much they explain it’s the extra parts. I said it’s only a sissy bar and slip on mufflers how is that 3k more than a new bike especially when it’s a demo. They say we can take the parts off and you can get it for the new bike price. But it’s a demo it’s been registered and is no longer a new bike. At this point I walked away. Went to Quantico Harley and got the same bike new with the sissy bar and the 5 year esp warranty and gap coverage for 26.5. I highly recommend shopping around before coming to this dealer.

I walked in on a Monday night about 45 minutes before closing. I had to have some heated gear for a trip I was taking that weekend. The staff that would normally assist with motor clothes was gone for the evening. However not one person there hesitated to assist me. Before it was all said and done I had three of the guys helping me, joking around, providing advice and generally giving me an outstanding experience. I ended up purchasing heated gloves, a heated jacket and chaps. Ive been to several dealerships (including an unnamed one in Fairfax) and have not received this level of service. I would definitely go back. Thanks!

Once again let down by this place, I guess it doesnt matter who owns it. I had purchased my tires online to try and save myself a few dollars. I removed the wheels myself and took them and my new tires to the service department. He told me that he wouldnt mount my new tires because I didnt purchase the tires at the dealership! I understand making money and labor is labor, charge me the rate and put them on! Ill never understand turning down work, makes no sense. So, had to leave, went right down to Patriot HD and had my tires on my wheels in no time! Nobody needs unhappy customers and thats what that have here! But, I guess they dont need me. So, Ill never go back.

I brought my 2014 Iron Stage 2 to Whitt’s Harley Davidson Service Department for the first time since I had the Stage 2 kit installed at a different Harley Dealership. I was noticing a pinging sound coming from the engine and I wanted to take my bike somewhere else since I was a little dissatisfied with the service done at the other dealership. I have to say I was highly satisfied and very happy with the service performed at Whitt’s. Kevin the service manager and Earl the technician did amazing work getting my bike to run right. Kevin kept in contact with me the whole time and Earl really knew what he was doing with my bike. They did every thing that the other Service Department didn’t do. I felt that they were honest with me the whole time and took care of my bike like it was one of their own. Overall, I am very happy and extremely satisfied with Whitt’s Harley Davidson and for now on I am going to bring all of my Harleys there whenever I need service done to them. I highly recommend Whitt’s Service Department to any one who needs work done to their Harley.

This is long,We were looking for a passenger backrest kit for my 08 street bob and had no luck finding it. We ended up going to an HD dealership in Md “Rommel HD,” because they had just about everything. When I told them where I was coming from and if there was a way they could hold it for me, it seamed like it was impossible to do and impossible to ask management if it can be done, so we went anyway. Once we got there I told them why we were there, they still had the parts, but pretty much put them on the counter and that was it! No help, poor people skills, poor customer service! Bull Run had the sissy bar I needed and when I told them I was on my way to buy it, they asked for my name so they can hold it for me, awesome! Thanks to Ben in parts for hooking me up and thanks to everyone at Bull Run Harley Davidson! Ben went out of his way to answer my question and to make sure I had everything I needed.Happy customer!

Heard good things, yet, Ive been there 3 times and asked for a 3 oil change, I was told they were booked and to make an appointment, since the price seemed high and I was told thats the price and theres the door Another visit to look for a Super glide, walked around for about 20 minutes no one even asked if they could help me. On the plus side I approached one employee and asked if I could post my color pic of bike for sale, he showed me where to post it & the board is located behind a vending machine and difficult to post.

I just recently got my license & purchased my first bike. I heard the customer service at Whitts was excellent from a colleague & he was right. After visiting the shop in person, Kim was a big help in getting me set-up with some new gear & picking out an engine guard for my Fat Bob. I didnt purchase my (used) bike from Whitts, but when it comes to buy new one, thats where Ill be headed. The guys in parts where also very nice & Kevin (I think) was very helpful in answering some questions concerning whats street legal.

Ive now bought 3 bikes from here and I love visiting this dealership. Just wish it was closer to home. Update... This dealership has changed hands since my review and I havent been since the change. Ill update my review when I have.Update...Ive now bought 4 bikes from Jim here and although its changed hands it still feels like a Harley dealership should feel... I drive past 3 dealerships to get to this one.

If I could give a negative amount of stars I would in this case! My husband and I bought our bike new in 2003. It is an 03 Softail Deuce anniversary edition. We, like most folks, have spent a lot of money on our bike and all of the accessories for the bike and also the Harley brand clothing my husband and like to wear. So it is fair to say we have been good and loyal customers to Harley. Due to a neck injury, the bike has been parked for a few years. Mid July of this year we decided we could ride again. We got the bike out and realized we had an issue with the gas tank. My husband has fixed it up but needed a new fuel pump assembly. So on 21 July, he visits Whitts. They told him he had to pay $415.00 and it would take a week for the part to get here. After buying new helmets, we were ready to ride but patiently waited out the week. On 21 July, he was told, no, the part will not be here until 18 August. When that pickup date came he was told sorry, not gonna be here until 1 September. Then was told it would be here 5 September. Called on the 5th and was told the truck runs tomorrow. Well, my husband called today and was told the part wasnt here. The guy said he didnt think it had left the warehouse yet. How did we go from one week to six weeks to tomorrow to I dont think it has left the warehouse?? Either these folks are not telling the truth or they do not know what they are doing. Either way you cant trust what they say. I dont understand how you can treat good loyal customers this way. We would have rather been told upfront that it would take several weeks to get the part in than to be jerked around like this. Our planned vacation to the beach was ruined! I expect a higher quality of customer service from Harley. I do have to admit that from the reviews Ive been reading lately, Harley customer service is not even close to what it used to be. Especially not at Whitts! Were very disappointed.

We have purchased two bikes from Whitts, one new, one used and both times we were treated like the only customers in the building. On the first bike, I was introduced to everyone, parts manager, service manager, general manager and the ladies that handle clothing. Each time I have been back since then, they remember me (not always by name, but certainly by face) and the bike I bought. My wife says the same thing about when she stops in. Any problem I have had, or accessory that I have thought about, they have gone over it with me, showed me pros/cons and talked about how to install. Some things, Ive done on my won, others Ive let them do it. Service is always booked up. I imagine it happens because when you take care of your customers as well as they do, people make a point to return to your shop. Schedule your bike in advance and they will take care of you. Joe, Jim, Richard and Chris have made sure that if I ever need another bike (or an accessory for my current one) I will return to their dealership. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! You will not be disappointed with the service you receive!

I normally dont write positive reviews but my experience with Whitts has proven worthy of my time. I traded in my old HD for a new one. They gave me more $ for my trade than surrounding dealers as well as the lowest price on the new one. My initial experience was great (thanks to Jim, Chris, Parts Dept.) and it gotten better with each visit. As for service, you can try and find a better service department if you want to waste your time because Joe, John and the mechanics have been outstanding. Whether its returning calls, accuracy of work completed, fair pricing and dealing with honest people, they got it all. Im happy to have found a dealer that takes Harley ownership to the next level. Keep the rubber side down.

My wifes 98 Vulcan just quit. She always wanted a Harley after riding for 20 years. We thought we would just take a look and get an idea. Jim was really patient, as we knew nothing about the various models. She is really short, and he made sure she got a great sense of what would be comfortable long term. I appreciated that he was not trying to up-sell but was focused on comfort. Great Finance rate, insurance deal, and out she rode on her new Sportster 48.
