I can’t say enough about our service experience. First of all. We scheduled a service appointment, for (4) four factory re-calls to be handled and other car services. I would have been OK, if we were told they needed to keep our car into the next day. Here are some exceptional parts of our visit. When we arrived we was greeted like old friends, I had a doctors appointment, we were taken/picked up by the service department. I was quoted a price before the appointment to check something with the car. Our expectations was over the top. At checkout, the price was as quoted.We recommend this dealership. Traveling cross country, when a scheduled oil change became due - inconveniently. I thought I might have to go to a quick lube place, but really wished I could get into a dealer. I called the service manager, Randy and he said he’d be glad to fit me right in, and did so. I would have to rate his service and friendliness and understanding of what I needed, as above and beyond. Highly recommended dealership and their service department. 👍

I highly recommend doing business with Keith Hapip at Bill Barth Ford. I was a bit hesitant with purchasing a car from out of state (I am located in Indiana), but doing business with Keith was the best decision. No gotchas along the way, upfront and honest! He assisted me throughout the purchase process, taking my many text and phone calls and picking me up/returning me back to the airport so I could test drive the car prior to purchase. As well as, made sure the vehicle was loaded safely on the transport trailer - yes he even took pictures for me. Great service. Although they were very busy on the day we stopped in, our sales rep Chris was prepared for us. He made prior phone contacts and had some vehicles ready for us to test drive. We our happy with our Kia Sorrento and the service we get. This is our third lease and I also have a family member who has purchased a vehicle at Barth Kia. Job well done!

The service was below grade. My vehicle was towed there last month, it sat there for 1 week and was untouched.I had set up to tow it to another place, they refused to let the car go as I had a $65 tow Bill. I took care of that then they gave the tow truck the wrong keys for the wrong car so he towed it back to Bill Barth. Once again my car sat there for another week nothing done and me not informed, I had to pay 3 times for towing!

I went in for a simple oil change and they spilt oil all over my engine. They did not clean the oil up nor did they tell me they had spilt it. I wish I could add photos bc it is an embarrassingly large amount of oil that was spilt and left to make more of a mess, including on my driveway.

I took my 2019 Kia Optima in for a tire rotation. This is the second time I have taken it in and it will be the last. My problem is the work was not accomplished properly. It was not the first time and it was not this time. I watched the work being done both times and both times the tires were rotated incorrectly. The front tires were moved to the rear and the rear tires moved directly forward. A proper tire rotation requires the rear tires crossed to the front and the front tires moved straight back to the rear tire position. I brought this to the attention of the man rotating my tires and he told me “they don’t do it that way here”. I don’t have my Kia Owners Manual in front of me at the moment but I’m 99.99% I am correct. As for the service writer. Amy has always been pleasant with me and takes care of me in a timely manner.

At 86k miles, the engine of my Sorento seized with no warning. Drove 4 hours to bring it to the service department to be replaced. Was told 4 to 6 weeks. Called after 6 weeks qnd was told another 4 to 6 weeks. I was offered a rental car but I had to drive the 4 hours each way to Bismarck to get it. I did that and was called the very next morning and told my car would be ready in 4 to 5 days. I make the drive back to pick it up and it wont start. Turns out the battery and altinator have to be replaced. The guy at koa was completely unhelpful of sympathetic. He just kept telling me he didnt kmow what to tell me to do. I was stranded 4 hours from home with two kids. Rental car company is closed by this point so I cant get another one. I went to the Hyundai service department and they took much better care of me even though my car wasnt from them. I wound up trading in my lemon from Kia and buying a new car from the Bismarck Motor Company.

I took my car in because of some issues with it pulling to one side. My car has a lot of miles on it and I was afraid to take it in bc of all the work I was sure had to be done as well as a mechanic telling me I needed to fix it. I got a call from Lyndon and he told me all of the things that were wrong with my car (I was not super surprised) he also stated. Your car has a lot of miles on it so if it was me I would just make sure to fix the ball joints so the car is safe to drive. I was very impressed that he did not push me to get it all fixed and that he was truly honest and genuine thinking of things in a realistic manor. Thanks so much for all the work that was done looking at my car and fixing a part so I could continue driving it.

The only critique I have is communication. From the time my vehicle was towed to their lot, until the day I picked it up, I had to initiate all communications about the status of my vehicle repairs, which due to the nature of the issue, ended up being about a month. They did an awesome job with my vehicle and returned it just as they received it, minus the obvious repairs completed.

I took my clean vehicle in for an oil change. Everything was done in a timely manner so no complaints there. But when I picked my vehicle up, the drivers side floor mat was very dirty/muddy. To some this may seem minor, but I like to keep my vehicle clean, so when I bring it in for service, I do not think it is too much to ask to get it back in the same (if not better) condition. A simple paper floor mat would have taken care of this.

Took my vehicle in for a oil change and ac service, technician identified some other items that needed attention, got all work done. Car drives and handles like it did when new. I had a great experience at Bill Barth Kia recently buying a new Kia Soul. Dealt with sales person, Chris, and would most definitely buy a car through him again. Chris was not pushy and did not try to sell me something I did not want nor did the people in finance when I signed the final papers. Chris took time to show me the vehicles I was interested in, answer my questions, and figure out what would work best for me. The finance staff worked with me to get the deal I wanted, rather than the other way around. First off we took our Kia there because we found it had a recall on the cadalac converter but because when we brought it in it was not the code coming up so you charged us for a diffrent check engine light which was over 1200.00 dollars well guess what got it on Thursday 02/27/2020 today 02/28/2020 Theres a check engine light on again. We do not live in Mandan to keep bring this car in. It had a recall on it and it should have gotten fixed any other vehicle Ive had if it had a recall it got fixed no questions asked. Im very upset. The customer service was Awesome the greeting was great. I might call the general motors on this matter.
