Support local! :)I enjoy coming here. The atmosphere is inviting and comfy. The baristas are always friendly. I have only been here a limited number of times, but Ive always had great service. The pistachio muffins are great. They serve a milk alternative for those of us with an intolerance. The menu is limited to a few major drinks, but they make up for it in flavor.If you get a chance, drop by, theyre great! Dog friendly on the outside.

Its a warm environment. Its almost feels like family. It has comfortable seating. And the employees are superstars.

I live on the road and always seek unique and interesting coffee shops. A quick Google search, and Cappuccino On Collins was close by.How could I go wrong? I didnt. Great place. Homey feel. Constant stream of local customers.I ordered a Cappuccino... It was in the after all. The barista greeted me as soon as I entered. (That was nice.) A group of people who were sitting at a nearby table greeted me as well.My cappuccino was well balanced. Made with 2% milk, was just the right amount of creamy. The espresso was not harsh or bitter. They also serve various delicious looking muffins and pastries.As I sit here and write this review, clusters of people are having conversations and are clearly comfortable here. Give them a try.

New ownership has been great for this place! Glad Mandan has a decent coffee shop right off main Street. I love the vibe of this place - very upbeat and friendly. The Americano I got was average at best, but the friendly service and great location add a little something extra for me. When Im visiting my parents who live in Mandan, this is a great place to get coffee with my mom and chat!

Excellent coffee! Great selection on snacks to have with your brew. Ive tried multiple selections and they make a mean Caramel Vanilla Latte. Great area to sit and watch the vehicles drive by and just worry about whats important, coffee.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I read all the reviews and despite bad reviews decided to give this coffee shop a try. Well I should have listened to the bad reviews I guess.If you love drip coffee and gas station coffee this place will be fine. But when I hear coffee shop I expect a latte and not a cup of hot milk with a hint of coffee.Their espresso shots are not true espresso shots. From what I could see they either use a very light roast, dont have the beans ground for espresso or they dont tamper it enough. Either way it really just wasnt worth it.We informed the staff that our lattes were watery but all they said was oh it was watery? And then looked at us in disbelief. We left our full cups at the counter and will never be back.

The drink selection, service, interior design and rebranding of this Mandan treasure has delighted me. Its historical significance, the regular costumers that strike up conversations and the modern twist makes this a hidden gem to study, sip and work at.

My favorite coffee place to go! On Sat mornings they have people come in with instruments and jam. The owner is nice and the atmosphere is awesome :) There is NO need for another coffee shop in Mandan!!

About as bad as it gets in every area of service. My friend and I visited this coffee shop as we were visiting Mandan, and our visit was prefaced with a glare from the worker as we walked in and it stayed until I got to the counter. She wasnt too happy I left the door open for an extra 3 seconds as my friend was a little behind me on the boulevard. We proceeded with the order, and she started on the drinks right away, and didnt have us pay initially, which is normal at places like this. When our drinks were done ( didnt realize this til later) she set them on the counter and never notified us they were ready or anything. finally after 4 people after us got their drinks, we went up to the counter and she acted like everything was fine and gave us a total. Our drinks had been ready for 10 minutes and she just ignored us, omitted any type of communication.Also, I get 2 6-shot espressos with steamed heavy cream every day, at various places across the state.I ordered it here and got watered down drip coffee. Granted they did not have heavy cream, but what I got was either drip coffee or recycled espresso shots.The worker, whom I assumed owned the coffee shop since she was in pictures on the wall, was completely ignorant to anything that would even resemble customer service. In my line of work thats the most important thing. Bottom line: place is a joke, masquerading as a hip coffee place. Youre not fooling anybody, Cappucino on Collins.

As of my last visit, they do not take any form of payment except cash. Thats a deal breaker for me, because like many people I do not carry cash. Its a shame too because this is the only coffee shop in downtown Mandan.

New owners have changed things a bit. They want a more mobile crowd that buys and walks. Dont like people sitting and chatting for an hour.
