All of the waffles were amazing! We went with 6 EXTREMELY picky children and they all found something that they really liked. The staff was very patient with us when we ordered and nice. The homemade whipped cream was divine. I will definitely be going here every time Im in town. The atmosphere is very inviting and they have a kids play area in the back which is awesome. 10/10 recommend. I forgot to take pics when I first got my waffles but they were beautiful.

My daughter and I are here visiting family. One of my sister found the Copper Dog Cafe and said we should all try it. We ordered three different waffles... Strawberry cheesecake, Rookie, and Full Count. We also ordered a dirty pumpkin chai and a waffle iced latte. Everything was amazing. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed putting a pin in on the map to show where we are all from. We also enjoyed looking at the wall of pictures of the construction of the cafe.

So DELICIOUS! Very chill atmosphere, and friendly staff! Good variety of waffles both sweet and savory! We tried the Rookie and the Slow Roller, both very tasty and filling. Highly recommend you try it out!

I got the rookie waffle and my wife got the gravyard waffle. Both were very well made and delicious. This is definitely the cafe to eat at if you want something a bit different.

It was great. We had the chicken and waffles, build your own waffle and biscuits and gravy. It all was so delicious. We also had the stroopwafel cookie. It was so good. Definitely recommend. Garrett was so kind and friendly to us.

Visited here for the 1st time. Ordered an Italian soda and did half rookie and half strawberry cheesecake. My friend got the American pie. All very very good!!! Would def come here again!

This adorable coffee shop also happens to sell waffles & stroopwafels. I purchased a small cappuccino & a stroopwafel. The stroopwafel was huge & delicious! For being a small cappuccino, it was a great amount of product. Cappy time to get the day rolling!

This is a must visit breakfast place if!! So many fun waffles and great coffee, and you can even get your waffle vegan or gluten free! I got the Full Count waffle that has peanut butter, choc sauce, powdered sugar, banana and whip cream and it was absolutely to die for!! Will be returning and highly recommend!

Great cafe with a fun menu of waffles types. I got the The Walk Out which is a standard waffle with whip cream and sprinkles, I added on Oreo. Lots of other add-ons available to make a unique waffle. You order at the counter and they call out orders like a coffee shop. Great local spot that some friends recommended and we enjoyed.

Fantastic place. Fun atmosphere, tons to look at, and most importantly good food and drink. Got the daily special drink, cherry blossom Italian soda, and the banana nut waffle and was both amazed by the presentation and flavor.

We’ve been to Copper Dog on multiple occasions and each time the waffles were wonderful! It’s great to relax and enjoy a specialty drink in the open air dining area.

Ahead of the curve! The Copper Dog Cafe is leading far ahead the rest of Mandan in terms of food. The waffles are warm, fluffy and flavorful. The variety of combinations offers a breakfast option for any palate! A hidden gem in Mandan. Not to mention the stunning design features!

We stopped in for an afternoon snack and ordered chicken and waffles, which was quite good and the pumpkin pie waffle, which was excellent. We ordered lattes to go with our snack and they were good as well. The atmosphere was very nice and cozy. All around a great place to dine and hang out with friends.

Sweet Moses, this place is DIVINE!!!! I regret not writing this review sooner, but by now Ive had a good variety of their waffles. **First things first, this is a waffle house. You are paying for one decadent, decent sized waffle. ** I personally go back and forth between my sweet cravings, and my savory cravings, so Ive had some of both. My absolute go to is the Full Count, because how could you possibly go wrong with peanut butter, chocolate, Bananas, and whipped cream, right?! My second favorite is the rookie, with sour cream and hot sauce. Its basically a hash brown waffle, and Im not complaining!! Ive also had the Grasshopper, Fly ball(not my personal favorite, its a texture thing), Biscuits and Gravy, and All American, but I keep going back to my favorite two! They also have yummy coffee, I generally go with a chai latte, because it hits all the spots 😊Another thing Ill add is, this is also an establishment that houses a gym for kids, so if youre looking for a quiet, more adult like atmosphere, I would maybe look elsewhere! It gets a little rowdy, but its a great place to meet up with friends, and have some good, local grub 💙

Delicious waffles and comfy atmosphere. Ton of variety and staff are usually friendly. The Carmel macchiato was particularly yummy!I wish theyd add an option to double stack your waffle order for a couple extra bucks, or maybe add a single regular waffle to any order for cheap. That said everything tastes amazing and will visit again!

Waffles are made from scratch and they were light and fluffy, they have gluten free as well. I had the American pie, it was really good, the worker was nice, love the cozy atmosphere. Will definitely go back..

My mom had the Full Count and I had the banana nut and a pumpkin spice coffee. They were very good and the staff was helpful for ordering. The place was busy, so you know people love it there.

We were greeted warmly and given a few minutes to check the menu. We ordered and we’re served quickly. I got the biscuits and gravy waffle and an iced latte. Laze got a cinnamon roll waffle which looks absolutely decadent. My biscuits and gravy waffle was delicious one of the best biscuit gravies I’ve tasted in a long time even in the south. I’d recommend a Copper Dog Cafe for a really good waffle . And any kind of coffee you could possibly want.

We tried to come once and it was a 45 minute wait so we knew we had to try again. We stopped when there was road construction out front and there werent many people inside. The wait was worth it! Biscuits and gravy were wonderful, the rookie was delicious, and the walkoff was our daughters favorite!

Copper dog is mine and my partners favorite spot in the Mandan area. We stop in this cute little place at least once a week for their custom waffles! I’ve worked my way through the menu and my favorites are definitely the Rookie, and their American pie waffles! We tell all our friends about it!

3rd day in town and decided to stop here for lunch. I got an Iced oat milk latte, fabulous! Also got the Full Count waffle, the peanut butter and bananas made it so filling, fed my sweet tooth perfectly. My dad got the strawberry cheesecake waffle and said it was very tasty. He also got the strawberry watermelon Italian ice and said it was absolutely excellent, drank it in a matter of minutes! Will 100% come again, especially for coffee, and would be a fun date idea for couples :)

Honestly the friendliest staff around! You can tell how great they work together:)super attractive group of young folk! I wish they did a little more advertising of the unique products they have! I had no idea they had ice cream stroop waffles or blueberries!! It would be cool if they had little recipes cards of fun waffles to build or a unique drink that is special to the copper dog!!! Overall delicious!

We enjoyed a Rookie waffle made with hash browns, ham, cheese, and eggs with hot sauce and since Im an old school type I had a Build it waffle: the you-create-it type, with just butter and syrup. Delicious and top notch oatmilk white mocha with caramel!

Simply put: a waffle lovers heaven. Ill be honest, waffles are one of my favorite foods - and Copper Dog has absolutely nailed it. Not only do they have the fluffy waffles in a variety of sweet and savory varieties, theres loads of drinks to try (I reccomed the cold brew!). Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make the family outing here a true treat!

The food and coffee were really good, very child friendly! My ONLY complaint is that it’s hard to figure out which coffee is yours, they call out your name but there’s no indication which coffee is actually yours. If they wrote your name on the cups that would help significantly!!

In town visiting my friend, we decided to try out this cute cafe and were not disappointed. We got the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Slow Roller waffle. So good! The waffle itself has great taste and the toppings are amazing! The Slow Roller was our favorite. And their latte was great quality too! Great place to play a boardgame and have brunch with a friend.

Yummy waffles. We enjoyed the ‘Rookie’ and the Biscuit and Gravy waffles. Both were delicious. The Rookie was hash browns, eggs, cheese and ham in waffle form. Eating it with ketchup was a great idea. The Biscuit and Gravy waffle was a waffle pressed biscuit with delicious sausage gravy on it. Sorry we don’t live closer to it!

If you are looking for a great waffle, look no further! I have been in here a few times and each time I have tried a different waffle. One time it was the Rookie, which has hash browns, eggs, cheese and ham! One time it was a fried chicken one. My boyfriend likes the berry one. Yummy!!!
