Baristas I LOVE YOU ❤️. This review is not about the Store Staff of Starbucks. They define lovely human spirit, like Trader Joe’s. This is about Corporate Starbucks that in my POV is a villain. Allow me to explain. Restrooms at this and all Starbucks were closed during Covid. Understood! So needing to pee meant walking over to Vons (grocery store), or Lemonade (restaurant).ARE THOSE PEOPLE WORKING AT THOSE STORES LESS EQUAL? Or less susceptible to Covid virus? Starbucks, McDonald’s, Arco AmPm were not doing a favor being open. They were open to make profitable sales and their revenue: profits prove that they succeeded. At the cost of US who had to carry a jug in the car, just in case?Grocery Stores stepped up as Food Service Behemoths getting rich selling high high sugar high profits retreated from being decently human. If a Sprouts could, so could McD in the same parking lot!I now get breakfast sandwich at Chick fil A which tastes better than McDonald’s, get coffee drinks and coffee at Peet’s or Illy (for French Press and Keurig). And in a way glad that their dirty abrogation of human decency made me discover great coffee! Major Dickason and Illy are fantastic and not much more than Starbucks.The MOST amazing courtesies were provided by an operator of Chevron Stations in RPV, Indio etc. I think they are called G&M: their stores were clean and restrooms cleaner and available to all. I switched to Chevron which costs more than Arco because I did not have to go in a bottle like I had to when refused restroom access by the AmPm stocked to the rafters by beverages!I have self respect!

I had to cancel a carryout coffee I ordered on the app and Lucas was so helpful with the whole transaction. Ill be back Lucas!

I’m on vacation here with family and I happened to stop by. I was served by a guy named Josh. Starbucks worker are generally very nice and outgoing, and Josh epitomized this. He worked very well with a smile on his face.

Went to this location on 8.7.2020 at 10:20am and this young, energetic and beautiful black women with blonde braids helped me. She was quick to help me while I was in line for some time waiting while this women was at the register for awhile. By the time the other customer was done my order was complete and waiting for me. I wish I got her name but I really appreciated it considering I had to be at work. Your staff is amazing and its great to see customer service is still a standard.

Im not sure what is going on in this place. Couple of times that I ordered vanilla bean latte its been taste awful. Im not sure if they know how to make coffe these employees are. I also tried to buy desert and the guy said theyre were out and they only have frozen one and I told him that I still want it even if it is frozen and he told me no! Every Starbucks are okay with it but why this guy is refusing to sell me one.

Great location.Poor customer service.Staff is NOT :AUTHENTICALLY cordially. It appears to be forced.I prefer NOT to get a smile at all if you are going to give me a fake smile.This location is not kept clean.They do not bus the table and floor frequently. SAD.Actually, a bit nasty NOT to KEEP the place clean.My sandwich was not too fresh.After I spoke with someone about my grievance they NEVER offered to replace the sandwich.I checked my e-mail on their SLOW WiFi.I left about 20 minutes later after checking some of my e-mails.

This Starbucks is in a great location in downtown Manhattan Beach just a few blocks from the water. You will have a typical Starbucks experience except when you order with the app. Honestly, it takes longer than just standing in line. They actually have a really great setup by placing your app orders right by the door for easy grab and go but be prepared to wait 15 to 20 minutes on any given day. I love the app so this is definitely a disappointment.

When reading the reviews, I expected it to be very busy and chaotic. We were able to park for free on the street (Thank you City of MB!) for two hours. It was busy, but we were able to find a spot to do work right away. Friendly staff, extremely quick and kept the place impeccably clean. Close to the beach, beautiful overlook of pier. Would highly recommend!

Quaint location, excellent service! These guys are seriously fast, generous with their insider tips of the beach and surrounding areas. Plus, the hot chocolate and coffee cake are delicious.

Not helpful staff. Shut the bathroom down for 20 minutes to replace toilet paper! My beverage didnt taste good either.

Couldnt get the correct tea I asked for. Gave me a random tea I didnt all for. Not the most proactive or efficient place.

This is possibly the most mismanaged Starbucks Ive ever been to. They run out of EVERYTHING. On an average morning, they are 5 to 10 mins behind schedule on their mobile orders. Most of the staff are so flippant and callous towards customers its shameful. The management should be replaced and the district manager should see how bad this store is.

This Starbucks is very busy. I always get a Caramel misto and the order didnt get communicated well to the barista so was not good. The man that took the order (Angel) took responsibility for it and made me a new one which was excellent. I really appreciated that and found him to be very friendly and helpful.

Hard to find parking and the drinks were watered down. Im pretty dissatisfied

This is a BUSY Starbucks location. Be prepared to wait in line, one that can wrap inside the establishment and even push out the door. Being so close to the beach, this is a popular stop for both locals and tourists. Sitting outside of this location, youll have a nice view of the ocean!

Girl taking orders not very confident at all the guy stockings on the floor had to keep telling her that the orange juice was in back cooler with out looking kept saying we are out guy on floor GO look yes in time I walked out with 2 ojs and the coffee drinks I ordered think goodness she was not making my drinks

A great place to take a break!

This starbucks does not honor the hours online they have that they are open till 10:30pm and instead they are open till 10. This is not good for the customers. They should fix the times and honor them and waste customers time. So unethical

Great friendly staff and centrally located. Pro tip: put a mobile order in on your phone and pick up without standing in line! They usually push the mobile orders to the front so it can save you time. Limited seating but hey, what do you expect at a downtown Starbucks?

Standard Starbucks. Service was fast and friendly enough. Be aware that they have a code on the bathrooms so youll have to ask a barista if you want to use the restroom.

Wrong order. I ordered a tall passion tea but got a regular ice tea instead. Also, I wanted a large cup of water but was told they only can give a tall, which is a small.

Baristas were awesome. I ordered a Matcha Green Tea, it was delish. I was sitting there enjoying my tea while I was on my phone, I accidentally spilled my drink and the barista came to hell me clean it up and kindly offered to replace my drink. Super nice staff!

Your typical Starbucks experience. They are pretty quick here with both in-store and mobile orders. The drinks are made right 95% of the time. They almost always have the food items Ive ordered.Sometimes you will get a rude staff member, however, this could be anywhere. Staff do not remember names or faces, however, this could be due to the volume of customers in the store.There is limited seating and it can get very busy on the weekends.

Good location by the pier, theyre used to dealing with beach goers, but also rich locals, so they dont put up with much nonsense.

Love this place

My first visit to this Starbucks was less than favorable. When I got up to the register the girl was less than friendly. She took my order a Grande Mocha. When I finally received my drink it was in a tall cup. I went back to the register to rectify the problem but unfortunately the girl who took my order did not offer me a receipt! I ended up leaving very upset and will not be returning to this location again!

They close early and because of that they lost soem of there best customers that came every sunday and sat.

Starbucks has a problem. Every time Im at one, people with mental health issues are hanging out, talking and screaming to themselves while intimidating kids, moms, etc...the customer. Been at this location for 90 min (Friday morning) and already 2 separate individuals, bought nothing, acting erratically, angry rants, stares, etc.

There was a woman by the name of Alexis that was very rude to my friend. I was going to buy something and my friend wanted to use the restroom. I had asked around when it would be open and she was short with me and said she didn’t know...I chose to spend money at another nearby cafe because she was unpleasant. You can’t guesstimate within the next 5-20 min if it would be open? I could tell she had an attitude for whatever reason and I’m sure I’m not the first complaint.

This location is great, except theres no dedicated parking lot and its small and packed a lot of the time!

Just any other Starbucks. But they are fast. Although, my wife complained that the bathroom cleaning lady was v rude.

I would give 0 if I could. They never called us for our drinks. When we went to ask they had them behind the counter claiming they called(which they didnt). Drinks tasted like water. Went back to say something and got a rude response, but they still redid it. It was just as bad the second time. Rude baristas. Horrible drinks. Wasnt the first time either.

The service here is inconsistent. One day very prompt & friendly, you go in the next day, with a different set of workers & it’s almost combative, especially from the females.

Poon is in the area but if you want a coffee quick, forget it..

Very slow and snobby. We walked in to the girl at the front saying we will be right with you while she continued unpacking cups. A line forms, my party of 3 (Wife, kid and myself), and two other groups of customers. The guy who was making the drinks finally came to take our order after about 5-7 mins of waiting without as much as an acknowledgement of the obvious delay. Like a robot What do you want he asked and we ordered against my better judgement and we paid. Got our items and drinks in about 2 mins. You can go wrong with a simple Coffee and a Green Tea Lemonade with no ice or sweetener, my son had a cookie and a boxed juice.But nooooo after the snooby barristers, slow and annoying wait times, unapologetic staff members, selective treatment of customers because the next in line got a very different treatment from these barristers, they were friendly knew each other, the next customer even asking how some hair growth was coming along with the Male barrister etc. Very sterile Starbucks, the atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming to anyone who doesnt know them personally, lives there or looks like them.After all that. My Green Tea Lemonade was sweet because it had the sweetner I specifically asked to be left out. So that made it into the trash as we walked away never to go there anymore. I am sadly disappointed that Starbucks allows such rubbish to go on in their stores or maybe thats Starbucks policy who knows but they have lost my business.

Pretty crowded place. Bathroom and wifi available. Parking tight but available; you have to pay for parking though. Right next to the beach. You can actually view the beach while sipping the coffee inside.
