I love this cafe in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach. Homie is a causal cafe that is hip and family friendly. The food is delicious (my kids really love the cheeseburger!) and the coffee is divine. There is also a super cute gift shop at the back of the cafe filled with cute gifts and one-of-a-kind art work. There is nothing like this in MB so it’s a great addition to the community!

Wonderful service, great food, yummy coffee.Highly highly recommend the hummus and the tater tot bowl. Both were outstanding. Also the hummus was surprisingly one of the best Ive ever had outside of an actual middle eastern restaurant.

Wonderful breakfast with outdoor seating. Really good croissants with eggs, bacon, sun dried tomatoes and some kind of green sauce.

One of the best espresso coffee shots Ive had...definitely a place to visit, looks great, staff is great and prices are moderate.

To start, it is nice to see a new business with a combination of food and home goods (especially from local artists!) in Manhattan Beach. So far Homie is off to a decent start.Ive been to Homie twice to taste the food since they opened earlier this week. You can tell they are still airing out the kinks but I think they will do well in the long run with some some improvements. The first visit was with a buddy. He had the burger with fries and liked it. I had the chicken meatball sandwich. The chicken meatballs were tasty but I would recommend a upgrade in the bread (it was a bit too much like store bought). As a result, 3 stars. Id pay an extra $ and I am sure it would take the sandwich to the next level.For the second visit I had The Homie (breakfast burrito) and my wife had the Homeskillet. The wife really liked the flavors with the egg, veggie and cauliflower rice all together. My burrito was tasty with a nice combo of egg, sausage and potato. 4 stars.Note that portions are not oversized, so if you are super hungry make sure to order a side. Plus the wall menu is really tough to read from the ordering area. Maybe some larger font??The home good portion of the shop is pretty cool. Locally (South Bay) made ceramics is a highlight, really liked that. 4+ stars.Everyone there on staff was very nice. As a result 4 overall stars. Ill certainly be back to try it some more.

Delicious turmeric chai latte, great coffee and the bowls are so good. Dog friendly and everyone is so nice. Great place to get some work done with your dog or even to just get a coffee to go.

Best tater tots ever! Homie is the only place where I can get a riced cauliflower breakfast dish (the Homeskillet) with a side of my favorite taters. Yum! Great location and wonderful service. I dont usually buy coffee drinks anymore but I love getting their lattes and teas with oat milk as a sub.

I really want to like this place but unfortunately the food was not good. The chilaqiles were just ok. You can tell that the sauce was from a can. The egg sausage burrito it was mostly egge. The orange juice was not fresh and the hamburger was ok.

Delicious little spot with an adorable shop in the back thats always so fun to check out!!!The breakfast burrito is delicious and a great way to start the day and coffee is smooth too. The mimosa is great and served in a cute little chemistry set which makes it nice and fun for out of towners too!

If I could give this place a zero I would! For starters bad costumer service! I got my food it had no flavor! Definitely lost a costumer!

Cute place, solid coffee, and good looking menu. Took awhile even though we were the only people waiting on food, which was fine since it’s a nice place and it’s still new. The Hammie sandwich came out and looked good, yet when opening it up I found that there was one small piece of chicken that barely overlapped one half of the sandwich, and same thing with the one slice of prosciutto and one leaf of lettuce. Basically one half of the sandwich had nothing on it and was just bread. Kinda funny lol. Taking the small parts on the one half and putting them on the other made a reasonable half sandwich, with two slices of bread on the side. And that half sandwich was pretty good, but it needed more of the spicy mayo. So it had the potential of being good, but only had half the portions of what was needed to actually make it a sandwich. Fries were good but under seasoned a touch. Hopefully they’ll fix this and it’ll become a good place to relax and have a bite

What a cute place! I dont come to Manhattan Beach often, but Im thinking I need to make it down here at least once a month. Theres just something about this area.I stumbled across Homie as I was walking down the street. The sign advertising that they serve VERVE coffee was enough to get me in there. We walked in for some coffee, before we started a little walk along the beach. That hot coffee was perfect, as it was a bit chilly out on this particular afternoon. Verve coffee is always delicious and strong. Homie looks like a great place for food as well. There were a number of groups inside eating.Mostly street meter parking in the area. A couple of parking lots as well.

I have had decent food here before but i just walked in for a BLT to go, and after a full 15 minutes, and $15 I was handed the worst sandwich can ever remember eatinf. Like actual worst. The bread was over toasted and dry, there was no mayo or any sort of condiment at all. A meely tomato, some lettuce and chewy bacon. It didnt even cover all the bread. There was nothing in the corners of the sandwich. How did that rake 15 minutes to slap together....i saw no other food ckme out of the kitchen the whole time i stood there....

Best new restaurant in Manhattan/Hermosa area. I found this place while searching for great local eats and was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness that I encountered. The salmon and quinoa was delicious. The balsamic glazed crispy Brussels were quite satisfying. And the hummus I would highly recommend. With so many delicious choices on the menu and a great atmosphere and staff (the chef came out to introduce himself and deliver a side dish) this place will be hard to pass up the next time I am hungry around here!

Food was decent. A little pricey. Came on a Sunday to watch the world cup finale and they kicked everyone out with 10 mins left in the game because they let someone reserve the entire place. Kinda messed up considering there was only 2 places in Manhattan Beach with a TV. Felt very pressured to leave despite buying more drinks and food.

It is a cozy little shop that is open from 7 am. On the breakfast menu, the Greek Yoghurt Bowl is delicious, based on a firm-tasting yogurt. For coffee, I recommend a gentle latte made of hand roasted Verve Coffee Roasters.

Only good salespeople per person. I drank an espresso default double but it was delicious. Its perfect when it comes with sweet things, but there are a lot of sweet things around, so
