The employees were so friendly when I was there. We laughed and talked. Just the right size. Very neat and clean. Just what you need!

Came here to take advantage of my Just for You coupons for free Open Nature plant based protein and patties and ground protein. I was a bit concerned whether a smaller supermarket would have these items, but they had two of each product in stock, yay! There is no self checkout here, so I had to go to the cashier to check out. Only two of the registers were open so I had to wait a little bit in line, but the wait wasn’t too bad.

Go to this Vons a few times and people quickly recognize you as a regular. I find the team at this Vons is friendlier than most.

This Vons has one of the best customer service and has the neatest aisles you will walk. Although lines get long, the cashiers are quick and you are out of the store in no time.

Its a small store compared to some but it will get the job done. Nice staff

So unsafe. Pretty much all the customers are walking in without masks and no one verifying if they are vaccinated. I wouldnt set a foot in there.

It was crowded is probably going to stay that way through the summer but the tellers did a good job and the big line all the way to the back to the bathroom went pretty fast,I can see the food deli hot food there was kind of slow you need to put the two people up front when its necessary.one taller guy was in the back look like he was doing dishes went about four or five people were in front waiting to buy. Not efficient.

MUCH smaller than most other Vons locations. Deli people are friendly however bakery and hot food section (front corner of the store) have several little millenial a$$holes working. seem to be confused to the fact theyre minimum wage workers most likely and dont own the place. my opinion isnt based on a one time bad experience either.parking lot is challenging to deal with but thats to be expected with the location being so close in proximity to the beach.other than that a mediocre place. dont expect too much. smaller store smaller selection.

Chris was so helpful in helping me find a Styptic Pencil. My husband had cut himself shaving this morning and he didnt have one in his travel kit! Chris took it upon himself to find one for me! Thank you Chris!

Parking is a little tight but otherwise great place

Gets old going there to find out they are always sold out of stuff. Who ever does inventory there, needs better training. If you sell out of a product, next week try ordering double. Specifically double shot espresso. Theres a reason the light flavor is always in stock, no one likes it.

This Manhattan Beach Vons is horrible! Most staff are rude, grumpy and unfriendly. And theyre manager Pete is rude, unprofessional grumpy and unfriendly. This kind of manager does not belong to this kind of environment that serves costumers. For years this old man makes costumers so miserable. He makes me miserable and unhappy. In my opinions he needs to go and get a life, because I dont think this old man is happy with his job. Most of these rude and grumpy staff and replace them with new friendly and professional staff.

Great location if you are in Manhattan Beach! The Deli is good for hot foods. I purchased the chicken tenders. Yum!

The store is clean produce over priced and fresh, deli looked good, and store is very small. 6 folk in each regular line which only 2 open, so wet to deli with no line and got out quick they took notice of me after 2 or 3 minutes. Still 10000% faster than reg line. Manager didnt care. Parking lot was dirty and carts everywhere. Good for small community but over all not great.

I go to Vons often and I always have a pleasant experience. However, this Vons was different. I went to the deli to get a sandwich made for me. Angelina, at Deli was by herself, and she looked busy. I waited 10 -15 mintues until finally Gabe stepped out. I finally asked them if anyone was going to help make a sandwich. Gabes reply was the sandwich making is done. The lights were still turned on, and soups were still on the counter. Finally, Angelina was kind enough to attend me and make me my sandwich. I thanked her for making it for me. The one thing I didnt like about my visit, was Gabes rude comment which, it looked like he said in front of his manager and that Gabe did not acknowledge me. Thankfully, you had Angelina working and the cashier that checked out my transaction was nice. I know we have things going on, but at least acknowledge a customer. I know that they wouldnt like it if it was done to them and they shouldnt do it to others.

Well stocked for such a small store. The staff are nice.

This Vons went through a massive remodel last year, and really upped their game. There is a robust deli section which makes good, fresh sandwiches. The liquor section was revamped and redesign, which works well and provides a good wine space. The store itself is still a bit tight in the aisles, and lines can be significant during rushes.This isnt a large/full sized store, so be aware that they may not carry what you would consider the full gamut of standard items.

I had a ticket on the parking because I stayed 1h10 and max 1h !!!I saw the manager with my invoice of the store and time but nothing !I spent $50 in this store and $53 for the ticket.I was not at the beach or restaurant but in your store with my family during this timeI live in Manhattan BeachThe last time I come in this store ...

Beware! You have to SHOP QUICKLY! I chatted with friends standing at their flower stand and they got me ticketed ($53) for being in the parking lot for 30 minutes. The manager said you have to shop & move -- no apology offered. And Im in that store several times a week. Well, that may change. A new low for customer service at a place that exploits its monopoly in downtown Manhattan Beach. Shop quickly -- or shop elsewhere.I see below that others had similar experiences and some were told you have 1 hour to shop. Well, now it is 30 minutes (with rude comments added for free).

The 405 equivalent of all grocery stores. Ive never waited in line anywhere else like I have here. They have 5 checkout lanes but Ive never seen more than 2 open. Hire more people!

Small old store, poor selection, very slow employees, usually only one line open even if its busy.I go if Im missing an item but Ive switched to Amazon for the bulk of my groceries mainly because this store is terrible in spite of being within a few blocks of my home.Tear it down.

Nice and within walking distance of the Manhattan Beach pier and everything else in MB, but very very *very* small, the Vons in Beryl St or others are better options for a proper, complete, shopping.
