You can order anything bookwise or K State apparel. One of their outlets open regular business hours or around and during events like Univ Open Houses,sporting events,Entertainment events of Greek events. Good variety of merchandise. Staff usually helpful. No dressing room. Nice kids area. A little pricey. Magazines,books,records,newspapers,office supplies and snacks.

I would recommend buying your supplies somewhere else if you can.I had to buy a book that was damaged with no rent option because they were done using that book after that semester.The prices are much higher than Amazon or other places on books and other items. The service is bad, I asked for an item a professor told me to purchase and they sold me the completely wrong item with no refund available.

Its convenient if you need something quick, but almost everything is overpriced, even during a sale. Dont even consider buying a laptop from their tech store unless you want to burn your Benjamins.

Do not ever buy your electronics at the union store. They sell you overpriced things and do not accept returns. May as well go to Best Buy if youre too impatient to buy online.

At least during this first week they are just awful. Especially this year since theyve made it smaller therefore they can only have a certain number of people in the store at a time, which means waiting in line for an hour for a chance that they might not even have the book you need. On top of that no one answers the phone. Ever. So if you have questions or want to check on availability theres really no way to do that either. Just order online from somewhere else. Its cheaper and so much easier

Went in to buy a keyboard and trackpad for a mac, asked the clerk if I could return it if I didnt like it, he said yes. I went back to return the trackpad, but apparently It was my fault for not reading the fine print. You cannot return computers/hardware unless it is unopened. If I had purchased from anywhere else I would have been able to return if I wasnt satisfied with the product. The other negative reviews are so true, Just go to amazon.

Incredibly over priced for most items in the store. Textbooks are much cheaper and easier to get from online sources because they are so over priced. They dont pay you back practically anything when you try to sell your books back at the end of semester. Non brand name clothing items are priced just as much as the name branded items.

Extremely disappointed in this store. Overcharging students to compensate for a college that otherwise does little to invest in students. Was charged a late fee for a book I actually own - aka due to employee error, had to pay essentially double the price for a textbook than I would have otherwise. Quite livid about it. Assuredly, I will not waste my time on this crummy store any longer. Go to Chegg or Amazon for textbook rentals to avoid being gouged and ripped off.

Id suggest trying Books-A-Million or Amazon before purchasing from the Union Bookstore. I completed an online order 9 days ago. Still have yet to receive an e-mail on the status or tracking of my order. Called multiple times this last week and was finally told today that its just now being shipped from their Iowa location today - nine days later.

They need to hire more people. Two cashiers is not enough for the ridiculous crowd the first couple weeks of school.

Worst campus store ever. Forced to purchase damaged books at full price with no option to rent because the books are too old, and they need to get new ones. I dont see how a school can rent out the same book every semester over and over for years. Then when they are old and broken make students purchase those books with no option to rent. The cashier is the one who informed me of the no renting so they could get new books.

Great bookstore and awesome staff. Its amazing how many people have negative comments about it, ofcourse bookstores can be more expensive than online stores, thats not new.

Please dont buy things here, everything has been marked up about 40% higher then anywhere else. Buy your books off the internet like amazon. Sometimes there will be a kstate specific book and you will have to buy the book from them and Im sorry in advance. PLEASE save your money and dont shop here

Honestly, one star is too much. I have had several experiences where my friends or I have ordered apparel or textbooks and the order has been cancelled without notification. Textbooks were unable to be returned if purchased and the professor decided that we didn’t need them. I refuse to by anything from them anymore as all they are looking for is your money. This is the biggest disappointment about K-State.

Disappointing that you cannot use your Alumni Association discount on regularly priced items if there is a clearance item in your purchase. They also refuse to allow you to make two separate purchases in order to utilize the discount.

Good selection of supplies and university merch.

In the middle of the union but varneys is a better price 99% of the time.

While the people are great, the prices are not competitive with other suppliers. My recommendation is to search AbeBooks and Amazon before buying books here.

Good place to find k state stuff

Every time I have ordered through them it has been disastrous. They have canceled my book orders without notifying me, and last semester they sent me to collections for a book that they didnt even give me. It took 3 weeks to resolve because their manager had been gone for a month or so. Save yourself from pulling out your hair and order through Amazon.

Very handy in a pinch but it is too overpriced to go there regularly.
