Talked to Dan, the service manager, about a dangerous stalling recall. And we got no empathy, no willingness to even attempt to help. All we got was attitude. Recall had been performed, car is still stalling at 55 mph and all he could offer was a trade in value. We thought that flip comment was very unprofessional and uncalled and a smart aleck comment. He showed an “I don’t care” attitude when dealing with a dangerous situation. He should be fired for treating return, long time customers in such a flip way.

Matt was the best. He was very friendly and out going. He put not only me, but my entire family at ease through the entire process. He walked us through the entire process from beginning to end. He got everything ready for us and kept us up to date as the car was ready to pick up. Before he let us take the vehicle he tested the repairs to make sure they were done correctly. We went to Van Horn on an appointment to see a vehicle. The original appointment was set with one sales worker- but they had left for the day. So Matt helped us. They were BUSY. Matt handled our meeting with grace, while still helping others. We had a few moments of confusion, but that may have just resulted by the powers at be. Late night, busy floor, and the loads of information. In the end Matt listened to our needs and met them. Timely corresponded with our financial institution, and ultimately sold us the car we came for. Thanks for all your help Matt!

Very friendly, I came in interested in a specific car, Matt wasn’t pushy or leading me in a direction of a forced purchased. He allowed me to go at my own pace, and was very patient with all of the questions I had, and had answers to all of them! Van Horn has always gave us exceptional service. We have used their repair center and just recently purchased a car from them. When our cars have needed repairs, they have provided rental vehicles to make sure that we are not without a car. If there was more of a wait time than expected, they gave us a gift card to make it right. With our recent car purchase, we received the same great service. They had vehicles ready for test drives. Our salesman worked hard to make sure we were getting what we wanted. After our purchase, we had some issues with our auto insurance. Van Horn was patient with us and went out of their way through the whole process. I will recommend Van Horn to all of my friends and family in the future!

Bought a car from them after they said they could add a hitch for $500 whenever i wanted. Price ended up being way higher than that, finally convinced them to honor their agreement and they gave me the signed paperwork (posted image) saying to split cost. I made an appointment and they said they wouldnt honor their agreement because this paperwork wasnt official. Weeks later after lots of phone calls they said they would, made the appointment which i then had to cancel because i had covid. We agreed i could come whenever I wanted and if it was getting too long of a wait (I travel for work a lot), theyd call and give me a heads up to get in soon. Didnt get the call, they got rid of my part and said they wont honor any agreement at all.

Nick was awesome and if I could rate him 6 stars I would! I wanted a bigger engine and had a really hard time giving up my current car. Nick understood what I wanted and put me in a car I love. I can’t thank you enough for your time, effort and understanding with me and what I wanted.

I brought my Jeep Wrangler because it was shaking terribly. I was told it was the ball joints and steering wheel damper. 3500 dollars. I was also told that it all did not have to be done at that time. Start with the ball joints. That is what I did. Picked it up. Nothing was different. I called back. Dropped it back off. They suggested to fix the remainder of what was suggested. At this point I asked if anyone has even taken it for a drive and felt the shake. AFTER the 3500 dollars worth of work was done, I was told there is still a shake due to aggressive tires and some cupping. I get that. As long as it is driveable, because prior to, it was not at 55mph or above. I get in, drive it for a few days and NOTHING has changed. and now my TPM light is on and will not stay off. I called again and brought it back, this time they tell me they put factory tires on it and it drives like a brand new vehicle. WHY was this not done or looked at on visit number 1? Before I spent 3500 dollars? Now I am supposed to drop another grand? To say I am angry is an understatement. Not to mention the last visit, no one ever called me back with an update. I called, Chuck told me it was ready for pick up. I get there. No keys. No paperwork. Luckily I had a second set. Never again will I or my family bring our service there.

We recently went in and purchased our very first brand new vehicle. We had done a lot of the paperwork prep and had pretty much settled on the vehicle we wanted prior to coming over, which was almost a three hour drive. Needless to say,they had the vehicle we wanted pulled inside already when we got there. We worked directly with Taylor both via text and in person. He was courteous and answered our questions. We had sent in our information for our trade in, and got what we had negotiated. That all went off without a hitch, as long as you represent your trade in with great detail, it should be smooth sailing. We want to also add that we had some interactions with Jon and Andrew as well, they were very personable and a pleasure to talk with. To top it all off, Id say, we where in and out of the dealership in about 1 hour and 15 minutes, give or take a few. As nice as the employees are, lets be honest, no one wants to be in a dealership longer than they have to. We would definitely come over and shop at Van Horn again. Oh, and life time oil changes from Van Horn, and we have a Van Horn dealership about 30 minutes away, you cant beat that. Thanks again guys!

I had an amazing experience working with Taylor at Van Horn. I have/had Covid-19, and Taylor worked online with me the entire time, and once we settled on everything, he drove my new vehicle to me, and took my trade in back with him. Seems like Taylor went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and made it easy on my through these tough times.

In 2019 I bought a brand new Jeep, for just under $45K, from them and in 2021 I needed to make a warranty claim because it was starting to corrode around the doors. I was over the 36K miles for the bumper to bumper but well within the 5yr corrasion warranty. I brought it to their body shop and the mechanic took pictures of the corrosion and said they would forward it on to Jeep. I get a call a few days later from the service manager and he went on to inform me that they were not going to forward the claim to Jeep because it was out of warranty and Jeep would not cover it. He had the guts to tell me he was doing me a favor by not forwarding my claim. I have been reading many posts about the corrosion and Jeep has been covering it. I brought it to another dealer in the area and they took pictures of the corrosion and forwarded the pictures to Jeep. Two days later I get a phone call saying Jeep will cover it. This is the kind of support you can expect from them..Edited 9/25I see that there is a reply from Van Horn apologizing about not forwarding the claim in a timely manner. Really....... I was told by Bruce, who claimed he was the service manager for Van Horn, that Van Horn was not going to forward the claim at all. For you to say that you could not find my contact info is a stretch, thats all you had to do was walk to your body shop and find out who submitted a claim that you did not forward. As far as contacting you, there is no reason to. I had the Jeep repaired, under warranty, by another dealer. I just want people to know what kind of support you can expect from Van Horn.

I corresponded via email for two days with a central business person and a sales person directly at the dealership. I asked specifics with regards to known issues (oils consumption and stalling). Vehicle is a Jeep buyback...meaning the first owner dealt with the lemon law. I was never told that the car was out of service as techs still had not determined mechanical issues from a prior sale and return. I drive an hour to test drive the vehicle on Saturday to then be informed the car was not currently available to be driven or seen. Again, two days of emails and not a mention of it not being drivable. Wasted time and money to then be low balled on my trade as well. Overall, a horrible experience. Clearly, the prior reputation I have heard about salvage and lemon cars with known manufacturers issues from the VanHorn dealerships was true!

Taylor at VanHorns was great to work with. Shared all the possible options from new to used and other vehicles as well. We settled on a Pacifica as we had intended on and very happy with it. They worked with our budget and made it work. Very happy and would use VanHorns and Taylor again

My mother had the battery in her Jeep replaced. Whoever put that battery it did not connect the battery correctly. When she brought the vehicle back in to have this oversight fixed. They charged her. They made the mistake. They told they were giving her a deal, as they should have charged her over 100 dollars. They still charged her 22 buck for fixing their mistake.If they are ripping you off like this, what are they going to do on a larger repair.
