I went here for a universal joint for my pickup when the ones from other parts stores didnt seem to fit. The guy at the counter acted like me showing up there absolutely ruined his day. He had to open 3 books in an attempt to find it, and did so with such animated behavior to show his displeasure for having to lift a finger. After looking for a solid 25 minutes and refusing to even get one of his parts off of the shelf for comparison purposes, he threw his hands in the air and suggested I go talk to Dave in the shop.I walked out in the shop looking for Dave, to find him on his back under semi tractor wrenching on some bolts. The second I told him why I was there, he crawled out from under that semi like the place was on fire. Dave walked around the rig to meet me near where I was standing, looked at the flange in my hand from a social distance of no less than 6 feet and just rattled off the part number without me even telling him the application. He dips to the part department and returns a mere 30 seconds later with said part for a test fit and and looks at the part I have for 5 seconds and tells me the reason Im having issues is because from the factory it was supposed to have a notch in it and mine did not. He just walked it over to his machine and corrected the issue for me while explaining why things were the way they were and so on. Needless to say the original parts guy was less than helpful but if you come here with issues no matter how complex I imagine Dave is probably the to make your problems go away the fastest.
They were fast, didnt charge extra, friendly, professional.
The parts guys are very good people. I would not recommend buying a transmission from them. I purchased a rebuilt transmission and they installed it the first one made it 50,000 miles the second one started having problems after 4,000 miles and of course the manager said we replaced it the first time the second one is your problem. Thanks Fleet pride Mankato.
I have purchased parts here several times always on time always what I needed. Sam is very knowledgeable!!I’ve had one hydraulic cylinder for a forklift mast rebuilt in the fluid power shop it’s been in for 1.5 years currently daily use with no leaks!
Quick and friendly service! Cant complain about that!
