Tam is awesome! I’m in my second year of college with my family an hour and a half away. My car started to act up and I got it towed there in the late morning and he had it ready for me by the time they closed. The price to have it fixed was very reasonable and he is very honest and funny! I recommend going to this shop even for the smallest things! Very impressed and will be bringing my car there from now on!

He is an honest man. He is also funny. I like taking my car to this place because I know I can easily TRUST him. He wont point out problems that dont exist in your car. Hell do what needs to be done and charges you reasonably. He is also pretty fast with his service. So I definitely recommend taking your vehicles to him if you want Honesty and Trust.

I took my vehicle to Tire Plus for inspection and they recommended me to pretty much change everything including struts/tpsm/brake pads/alignment etc with the estimation of $2000. Then one of my friends recommended A&T auto. He did said that all the parts that tire plus recommended do needs to be changed but he asked me to get all the needed parts online since its cheap and he can change it for less amount of labor charge!Man I SAVED $1400 because of that.Funny guy and knows what he is doing. Definitely recommending this place!!

On July 3rd I took my car here to get a oil change. When the nice man asked me to move in the car stall my car decided not to start. Turned out my starter went bad. I was leaving to go visit my father 500 miles away later that day. Not only did he step up and get it fixed in 4 hrs when he was really busy but he charged me a great price. Brought car in due to metal-on-metal sound, he looked over and realized it was only ice buildup under car, thawed ice out and returned car with no charge. I appreciate his honesty and will be utilizing his repair shop if I ever have problems with my cars.

I travel from south dakota to give him business. Most honest and fair mechanic. Always 50 bucks or more cheaper than mankato shops and doesnt lie about repairs like a certain aichi japanese car dealership in town.

Tam has always found a way to locate and solve the problem even the seemingly bizarre ones. He has saved my family hundreds of dollars many times over by fixing what is actually the root problem and not shotgunning the problem. He knows when to use OEM parts and when it is not worth it to pay the extra dollars for the OEM part.I always go to Tam first and let him tell me whether to go to the dealer or not. He is a face to face, relationship based mechanic.I usually just drive in to see him and book my appointment in person. For oil changes there is usually a 0-5 minute wait.I have an 04 Honda and a 10 Subaru and I even have Tam change the oil now. Other oil change places have not actually changed the filter when they changed the oil. How do i know that Tam has showed me the filter brand of an oil change location he removed, when I had the oil changed the last time elsewhere.

He is the most HONEST auto repair shop that I have encountered in Mankato and even the twin cities. He never overcharges and thoroughly explains what is wrong with your car. This guy is the most honest mechanic youll find me and my family get our cars fixed there all the time. I went in because I had a clunking noise and I thought it was the struts. He called me told me it wasnt the struts but the swing arm. Just there he saved me 500 bucks. Another mechanic would just change it and if the noise is still there change things till it stops to make money. Not this guy.
