I had a busted lug nut on my tire from when discount tires put my new tires on so they said they would repair it but they dont do that there at their shop so they sent me to Midas to get it fixed, and Midas got me in that same day 1 hour after I showed up! I was really impressed! And they got it done really fast too! I went out to lunch and when I went back to check on my car it was already done!

This car shop is actually pretty dirty and feels semi unprofessional. However, the guys who do the actual car work are very skilled and wont do anything that theyre not asked to do. They try to do the bare minimum QUALITY job to save you some money and get you out of there quickly.

Avoid this place at all if you’re a black person. They are rude and unprofessional. I went there to fix my broken exhaust but they didn’t fix it well.So i bring my car back to them to check. but the front desk employee was the awful person I ever see in my whole life. my father was there with me he doesn’t speak English well so the front desk employee brings exhaust to explain but my father was trying to Touch the exhaust and explain where to fix it but the front desk employee was trying to slap my father’s hand. Stay away from this place, Discrimination is going on here.

They worked on recharging the air conditioning in my GMC. After working for 90 minutes they were not able to fill the system because of problems with the vehicle. They would not charge me for the time even though they worked on it for 90 minutes. I will be going back there for other vehicle needs

We had an amazing experience with Mark!!! Our son goes to Mankato State and had car problems. Not being from the area, it’s a little nerve wracking calling a mechanic your not familiar with. We were to Mark and he was honest, efficient and helped us out immensely!!! It was comforting to know we weren’t taken advantage of and our son was in good hands!!

Do you need exhaust work? This is the place I suggest. They have done custom exhaust for me on 2 trucks and car. I have not had any issues. I purchase my mufflers and parts from the auto parts store or online and have them do the service.Just ask for mark for all your exhaust plans, he wont steer you wrong.

Midas is the absolute best place to go. They are an amazing group of workers. Midas is fast and are reasonably priced. Every time there is something wrong with any of our vehicles, they make sure to make the prices fair and that you will be in and out as fast as possible. Nobody compares to their customer service.

Went in for a flat tire with a mildly bent rim. They said I need two tires, two rims, and some exhaust work, and quoted me $750ish. Without exhaust work $650ish. I said hell no and brought it elsewhere, they bent my rim back and gave me a new tire for $85. Probably saw that I was a young woman and assumed I wouldnt know better!

Dropped my car off on my lunch break with no appointment. They were very busy. I had no idea what was wrong so I didnt know what to tell the guys. They said they wouldnt be able to even look at it for 3 more hours. But they got back to me within 90 minutes with a diagnosis and a quote that was fair and reasonable. Repairs were done before 5pm. Great service! When I couldnt figure out what was wrong with my Neon Mark and the rest of the staff did everything they could to help me figure it out. They were up front about the costs and gave me great advice on everything. The other places I called suggested things and wanted way more money for the services. They didnt try to rip me off in a world thats easy to do such a thing. Will be back in the future for sure

These guys are too notch! I usually do all my own work, but there are a few things that I can not do because of computers/scan tools and the guys here are the only ones I trust to touch any of my vehicles.

I was at Luther Honda and they said my brakes were days away from being metal on metal. Midas techs said they were 30-40% good and at least good for a few months. In addition they gave me a free light bulb change since I was already in. Very satisfied that someone actually told me the truth.

Ive been very happy with them. Quick, honest service. What more can you ask for?

I needed a wheel stud installed, so I made an appointment and gave them the make and model of my vehicle. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment, and they didnt even get my truck in till 44 minutes after my appointment to come right back out to tell me that they dont have the parts and I will have to come back a different day. Very dissatisfied and will never go back there. Hopefully if you go there you get better service!

I have always had a great expierence, workers are kind, and honest. They don’t try to take your money telling you, you need more fixed than what you came in for. I have save a lot of money going to them.

Did a wheel bearing replacement within 24 hours of calling for 25% less than dealership. Manager even gave me a ride to work and picked me up when the work was done in time to get my kids from school. Highly recommend.

Wanted to charge our friends daughter over $800.00 for a repair that my husband did for our friends daughter for a $2.00 clamp! Didnt need a new exhaust system but rather just a clamp to put it back in place!

Submitted a quote online to these guys. It says “we will get back to you within 4 business hours”, 3 weeks later still no quote. Submitted one a week after the first one and still no quote. 2 quotes, haven’t heard back from them on either and it’s been over 2 weeks on both.

Amazing service! I was having a pretty crappy day because I got a flat and had to go to Discount Tire to get it replaced only to find out the post was too stripped to get all my lug nuts back on! How frustrating! They sent me to Midas to get this fixed. It was done in 10min and they were so friendly and really helped me out! Thank you!!

So awesome! Our a/c drain was clogged and started leaking into our car on a road trip and we had a baby and a dog in the car and it was 95 degrees out. We stopped in and they unclogged it in ten minutes, and for free! The best! Thanks a million!

Excellent dependable service

Dont know how to install anything properly. Had 2 sets of exhaust installed there. Both times one exhaust tip was about an inch lower than the other. this recent time they had to cut a hanger off, which is fine, but dont lie to me and tell me everything is fine.They cut one hanger off one and left the others on and instead of re welding it to the CORRECT POSITION, he instead just let it rest on top of the metal mount so now every time i hit a bump i here a CLANK! . He also did not install my hangers mounts correctly as one is UPSIDE DOWN and also did not even install all the metal brackets as one was just burried under a bunch of stuff in my car when i placed it on my passanger seat when i dropped it off, like he WANTED to hide it from me!Shop is gritty and is basically a Backyard Bob shop. Never will i bring my car here. The mechanics are LAZY and just do things to Get byId rather have a squirrel install it.

Extremely rude to me. I am a college student and i don’t have too much money so i would ask them how much would it cost to fix my car and they would get mad at me. Very rude and disrespectful and way too expensive. They asked me 1200$ to fix my car and changed the diagnosis once i told them i had bought that part already and they got mad and told me that: nono that’s not a problem anymore but something else.

I have always had great service from midas! Its the only place I will take my car in town. Other shops will try to upsell me or talk to me like I dont have any idea about cars. Midas has good prices and great service.

This place is awful. I called in and tried to make an appointment and was told to just come in. Waited 2 hours before my vehicle was started on. They failed at the first alignment and I had to bring my car back twice for them to get it right. They also changed my fuel filter and broke the fuel line and wouldnt claim responsibility for it. My friend also had a cooling hose replaced and they broke her ac fan and wouldnt claim responsibility. This place is pathetic do not go there

I went in to have my brakes and rotors inspected, and I was advised my pads were bad, which I assumed, but they also advised me that my rotors needed to be replaced also. After I ordered the parts to replace them myself and disassembled my brakes, I discovered my rotors had roughly 10-15% wear on them. They did not need to be replaced, but I did anyways, due to them being upgraded parts. Long story short, I was pitched an upsell when it was truly not needed. Be cautious, because it can be the difference of hundreds of dollars.2017 - Update - I needed Lugg replacements on my wheels. I was referred to Midas from Discount Tire, but come to find out when I showed up, they are not open on weekends. When I looked in, it still looks very dirty and unorganized. I have seen side garage shops way more well taken care of. The feel I get from this business is that the owner is sliding into retirement and no longer cares. I went to Tires Plus instead.

I had my rotors and brake pads done 2 months ago and they warpped already. Not saying it wasnt the parts fault but i asked if they had a warranty or anyway to help me fix the crap parts they put in and got nothing

My estimate was charging 155 dollars for a 80 dollar muffler at advance auto or 76 dollars at orilleys. 98 for a resignator that cost 35 dollars. 52 dollars to install the muffler and 52 dollars to replace the resignator. Total 415 dollars..Got it done at a different shop all for 225 dollars.

I went into for an oil change and tire rotation and my car left sounding horrible. Its making ticking noises and sounds like the shocks are completely worn... Im so frustrated!

Midas tacked on an extra $40 for a muffler strap I didnt ask for without my permission. Im greatly upset that they would take advantage of me like that.

Over two hours for them to change the oil and one light bulb when I scheduled it two days before and arrived 20 minutes early? No plans to go back.

They can get you in fairly quickly, and when they installed a new muffler for me, and the original weld didnt take, they fixed it immediately for no charge. It is a bit spendy, but if you go to the parts place directly behind them/in the same parking lot with the parts numbers you need, youll buy the exact same parts Midas will use in your car for half the price. It will save you a lot of money. Just beware of upsells and keep track of when something was repaired last. All mechanics try to upsell, but it is especially noticeable here.

My daughter goes to school in Mankato and recently had the alternator go out on her 99 Monte Carlo. She took it to Midas for repair and the bill was well over $400. I found out that the retail cost for a replacement alternator (United Auto) was about $120 so I called the Midas shop to find out why the bll was so high. The manager told me that they customarily double the cost of the parts, charged her $35 for shop supplies (towels, etc) and the rest was their labor costs.Needless to say I told her to find a different mechanic in town to take here car. I think that they gouged her because they knew she was a college kid a long way from home.
