I love the network for what it is, but in stores I felt like I was being deceived while trying to upgrade an old phone. I’m not usually a challenging customer, but the sales associate was not up front with what I was getting at all and in the end I walked away unhappy with my purchase and the service. The phone is great, but the associates clearly are just trying to make the biggest sale possible. I will probably be returning and buying from somewhere else.

Jake at Verizon in the River Hills Mall was very helpful and honest. Answered the questions I had and did what he could to make my experience as minimally painful as possible. Great employee Verizon should be proud to have.
Recently I went there to buy iPhone 11. They are real liars. First they told me I just need to pay $260 down payment and I can pay installment monthly. They also said I will get iPhone case, screen protector and a cheap charger with that. I was so happy to hear that. I asked them if I will get charged for them. They said no, everything is included.They didnt give me any receipt as well. Instead for safety issue they gave me electronic receipt in my email. I appreciate that. However, they didnt clarify anything about the specific charges. So I paid $260. Once I got back home, I checked my email and the receipt. I was literally shocked.They charged $260 for phone case, screen protector and a random charger. They charged:1. iPhone 11 pro case- $45.99 (I didnt like it at all. It also blocked some part of my speaker. However, in amazon I can get it for $15)2. Screen Protector- $59.99 (Is it a joke? $59.99!!! I can buy a good quality screen protector for around $15 from amazon)3. Third class Charger- $39.99 (It is not real iPhone charger though. Just for their business.)4. Water protection plan- $29.99 ( They didnt tell me about that. They just charged me.)After seeing my receipt when I asked me about them, they said, Oh, you didnt know that? I thought you know about our bundle offer! As if I work there with them. And is it an offer? This is just stealing money. Fraud business! They behaved very unprofessionally with me.I asked them if I can record their voice. They told me if I record I have to leave the store. I dont know why they were scared. May be they were scared of being exposed. Worst place to buy iPhone. Be careful with buying iPhone from them. Just record what they say to you.

I was able to get the new screen protector that I needed after they gave me the wrong one the first time, but it took them awhile, and honestly it kinda seams like they dont want to help or give answers, and that they just dont like there jobs. But I still like the new phone so theres a plus.
Great experience! I went to get a new phone on black Friday. The stores computer system was down, meaning the sales reps needed to complete all transactions manually! Definitely not their fault, and this put them in a tricky situation. The team and manager handled it so well! They had a good system nailed down to complete sales with paper forms. Even on black Friday I was in and out with a new phone in a short time. Carter, our sales rep, went above and beyond to make sure we knew our new plan, and we got a great deal on a new iPad too! Thank you Carter!
We have been long time customers of Verizon and usually use the factory store in Mankato and have never had an issue. It was closed due to COVID and I had to have a new phone, we went to Victra at the mall and the salesman misrepresented a special, did not fully explain the associated costs. When we received our bill and determined the misrepresentation we went to the store to work with them and they refused to do anything. Essentially called us liars. They also said they would send us our receipt via email after the sale and never did after 2 requests until 6 weeks later. Be aware!

Manager travis is absolutely awesome to work with! Very helpful, gave us different options and truly helped us get what we needed for our plan without a bunch of unnecessary extras that just cost money. Any hiccups we had this store has handled very quickly and as pain free as possible. This is the only store around that I will go to. Would 110% reccomend!

I have purchased a phone at a full price in that store and the associate who help me with my purchase assured me that my phone was unlocked (I asked him multiple times!!). Months later, when I went back to the store to exchange my phone and get a new one at a lower price, a different store employee told me that my phone was locked so I couldn’t exchange it. I informed her that one of her colleague tricked me into buying a locked phone, but that associates was not working there anymore. That was my first and last experience dealing with Verizon! I am so disappointed!!!
Carter help me get my new replacement phone up and running and answered all my questions. This Experience was 180° different from the experience I received at a different store that was within half mile of this location.
The two gentlemen that helped me were awesome. They helped me figure out what to do with my old iPhone 5S and got me all set up with an iPhone 6. They went out their way to be sure that I got the best prices and took really good care of me. I went in with expectations that it was going to be a hassle, take forever, and would cost me an arm and a leg but I could not have been more wrong! Thanks Kirby and RJ you guys are the best!

I had the worst experience ever! I am not a complainer or an angry person but I was literally taken for 600.00 at this store. The guy I worked with was trying to help and actually screwed me out a 2 for 1 deal. He made a mistake that cost me and extra 600.00 over what I spent. I recommend going to a verizon store anywhere but River Hill Mall in Mankato.
The manager is so bad, I switched to T-Mobile when my contract was up. His employees were awesome, they tried so hard to help me out, but he just repeatedly told them no. I got so upset that I returned everything, contacted Verizon who were kind enough to credit me the surprise fees back to my account that A Mobile did not tell me about in the first place. (They also did not disclose they were a third party seller until I got saw the printed receipt which they folded and put into my bag immediately)I finished my contract and switched to T-Mobile. And now 9 months later, A-Mobile finds it appropriate to call me. Verizon really should dump this company as an authorized retailer. They make Verizon look terrible.

We were told there was a 14 day return policy. We went back on day 11 because the phone was glitching. The told my mother that she was using the phone wrong and had the settings mixed up. They said come back if we have other issues. We went back on day 14 because the phone was still glitching. I looked at it for my mother I didn’t see anything wrong with the settings or anything but did notice the same issues she did. I even reset it to factory settings for her. It still wouldn’t work properly. We took it back. Keep in mind we live a little over an hour away from the location. We explained the issue to the salesman who appeared concerned. The salesman talked to the manager in front of us. The manager kept saying “make sure it hasn’t been over 14 days” which felt like he was trying to find anyway possible to get out of exchanging the phone, we were within the 14 days, so the salesman goes to the back to get the replacement and comes back saying “do you have the original box?” My mother states we didn’t, they stated they could not do the exchange without the original box. Then told us we would have to go through Verizon to use our warranty to get a replacement phone. Then they started saying they were just a third party retailer and could not help us. It does say in the fine print of the receipt that you have to bring the box with for returns, I just can’t beleive what this store did to stop themselves from helping a Verizon customer. I will never go to this location again and will be telling anyone and everyone my opinion of the shoddy sleezy tactics. It’s really convenient that you are “VERIZON” until you arnt taking out money or have to help with a problem you won’t be able to bill for then you instantly become “A THIRD PARTY RETAILER”

Huge thank you to the gentleman working at the mall location. I was in desperate need of a SIM card and had stopped at the corporate location first. Needless to say the corporate locarion was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The guys at the mall were very friendly and helpful to me.. wasnt a big money maker for them and they were very busy at the time. I appreciate them helping me out.

Their prices are much higher than Verizon website.We were sold a hum, which is a totally useless road side assistance in rural MN. Only has free towing for 10 miles!We bought a Gizmo, the band didnt fit. We were told we could order a bigger band. Lied. No other size available. Were told we didnt have a 2 year contract. Lied again! So now have a useless Gizmo for 2 years.I was told Note 9 wouldnt be available for a looong time. Available 1 month later.
Buyer beware! They put charges on your bill you are unaware of and try to sell you things you DONT NEED ! Go to a AUTHORIZED VERIZON STORE! STAY AWAY from the Verizon Victra store at the Mankato Mall! They evidently work on commissions, AND IT SHOWS. How disappointing and bad it looks for Verizon!
I got a brand new Moto z force 2, which I like... But they had to mail me a screen protector and by the time I got it, my phone was scratched. I go back into the store to see what they can do and the associate was very confrontational and decided to warn me before touching me where he thought a button was near my pocket that he thought was scratching my phone. Why he thinks he can touch customers is beyond me. Im not happy.
