After pulling out my windsurfing gear from the 80s, I found I was missing a couple parts. Noticed on their website that SXS bought and sold used gear so I made the trip down and chatted with Chad. Hes a very knowledgeable and friendly guy, and after showing him a couple pictures of what I had he helped me find the correct parts for my ancient kit at prices that were totally reasonable.After collecting dust for ten years, it was awesome to get it back on the water again! Chad is the MAN! I’m a pretty broke windsurfer and he’s made the sport accessible to people like me and I can’t thank him enough. IMO the prices are fair and if you think that a trip to the shop is probably worth it, you won’t be disappointed.

Chad and SXS is awesome. I called earlier in the week and asked to hold a windsurfing board for me until I was able to make the drive down from the twin cities. His selection of used and new gear is incredible. He worked with me on price and I ended up buying another sail and some more gear because prices were so good. Its refreshing to have a brick and mortar store and a non-gouging friend in the Windsurfing Business.

Passionate windsurfer that owns the shop. Chad is more than fair with pricing and does what he says he will do. There is more new stock here than anywhere in the twin cities, probably have to go to the ocean to find a store with more used stock than he has. He will buy your stuff too so if you are progressing and looking to upgrade he can help. Lessons also. I met Chad a couple years ago and have bought a few things and sold a few things to him..(just got a 2018 Ezzy 7.5 that I love!) long enough to get to know him and he is a good straight up dude.

Fantastic sales rep. Went in to buy and walked out with a new bike. Was trying to upgrade and definitely did at a reasonable price that didnt break the bank.

I have been windsurfing for over 30 years and I am happy to have discovered SXS Windsurfing. I live in the western suburbs of Mpls, the 1 hour trip to Mankato was worthwhile. Chad is very knowledgeable and is willing to spend time to help you determine your equipment needs. SXS carries new and used equipment, so you can find something in your price range. Windsurfing technology has matured, making the used market very viable. I purchased a 2017 Ezzy Cheetah end of season closeout, Chads price was the best available. I will be working with SXS for my future windsurfing needs.

This store is small, both in size and variety. Id describe it as a powersport pawn shop; that is to say most items are used and random. On the plus side they are friendly and have good prices, worth a fast trip inside.

This store had large selection of used and new windsurfing gear. I am new to windsurfing and Chad spent alot of time helping us pick out a combination of used and new parts for a setup. Even though he had to stay late he showed us how everything worked.
