I loved that they dont push car issues on you. They tell you about them, and let you know which ones you need to get done soon. They also left me goodies in the car. I got a small teddy bear left in my grandsons car seat, and a nice xylon type garbage bag for my car and a chip clip all with TGK logos.

Picked up some new tires for my truck and called them late in the afternoon to see what their availability was to get my truck in to get them on and an oil change. They said bring it on in and we will squeeze you in. The 35” tires were a struggle, but they got it done along with the oil change and gave me a discount for the wait. Highly recommended and will be going there again.

AVOID AT ALL COST OR IT WILL COST YOU! Went in for a starter for my 2015 tahoe they came back with over 5k in needed repairs. Took it to honest 1 they fixed starter and other repairs for 900.00.Nice reply..... Funny how in your rebuttal you didnt mention as an owner you call me being argumentative and didnt mention the have have a nice life comment. Your customer service is garbage!

Nickel and dining a repeat customer. $75 diagnostic fee to figure out why oil is leaking and a service engine light that was on.$900 later and taking the car home, I still have a service engine light on. Talking with the Manager, Terry, he proceeds to tell me that it was my fault for them not checking this. I would have had to pay another $150 for TGK to hook up my car and tell me what that issue was.He blamed the technician for not noticing that the service light was on. Wow.

My car was overdue for some maintenance and they got it done! They listened when I explained what was going on and what maintenence I knew was probably coming up and not doing right now. They were not pushy about the page of recommendations at the back of the invoice and did not talk down to me because I was obviously pretty clueless about the inner workings of the car. We have used TGK for two of our cars now for both maintenance and a couple more major items and everyone has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices seem reasonable and turnaround time has always been quick.

Coupon for $19.99 oil change came in mail, went for appt 2 weeks after, NO EXPIRATION DATE on coupon. Owner said it expeired and wouldnt honor it. Talk about poor customer service, basically a bail at switch coupon. My family went to this place for years and previous owners never acted like that. You just lost 4 customers who used to go there under previous ownership and name for years. Even asked if he could talke $5 off and said No.

Stellar customer service. They are willing to do the work and do it right. Quality mechanics and parts make a world of difference. One of my older vehicles was serviced so poorly by different shop and TGK has been able to rehab it little by little. I also take my new vehicle to them and have only had good experiences. I went to TGK after the dealership said I needed $5300 in engine repairs in my vehicle that is 1 year out of warranty (66K miles). TGK did a complete check of the issue I discussed and found that the dealership misdiagnosed the issue (loose plug wire rather than a collapsed lifter the dealership stated). Saved me $5,300! I had them do routine maintenance since the vehicle was in their shop and pricing was very reasonable. Friendly and honest staff. Definitely will be back.

These guys know what they are doing, and are very helpful and professional. They made sure I was getting the best price available. They even took me out into the garage to show me what needed replaced/fixed, not like most places that try to scam you for you money. I went to TGK Automotive for a oil change and the services I received was spectacular. The staff was super friendly. I was told maybe 1 hr. for a oil change and was out within 30 mins. I love the fact they always have good coupons for the services which makes it affordable. I would recommend anyone to TGK Automotive.

They did a safety check on my car and sent me a text with the results, which included pictures of what they found wrong. They had my car for half a day and replaced the disc brake pads and rotors, did a brake fluid system flush, and replaced the serpentine belt. They are very quick, professional and take care of their clients. Will be looking at going back in a few months to get new tires.

I recently moved to Maple Grove and was looking for someone new to handle my car repairs. I was very impressed with TGK Automotive. I had read on another site very good reviews of TGK Maple Grove, so when my car wouldnt start while running errands in New Hope, that is where we took it. Cory and crew went above and beyond our expectations. They suspected it was the Alternator but was the Ignition Switch and was less expensive. They did a full workup and advised of things that needed repairing but never pushed and we didnt feel pressured, which was a welcome relief. 5 star work and 5 star customer service. With the recent cold weather, my daughter had trouble starting our 2012 Nissan Rogue two days in a row and the second day the check engine light came on. I called TGK on Tuesday afternoon and they said they could look at it the next day. They quoted me a price for running diagnostics which seemed in line with other automotive service companies weve used so we dropped the car off Tuesday afternoon. They checked the circuits related to the diagnostic code and everything looked good so they reset the check engine light and lowered the repair cost by about $25 dollars. I really appreciated the discount and the quick service. Ill be calling them again the next time one of my cars needs servicing.

Went here today for a suspension check. Was told on the phone itll be 29.99 plus tax. When i arrived at the place they raised the price to 75$. They Blamed it on the air suspension which is why i confirmed the price over the phone, clearly stating that i HAVE air suspension. Very unprofessional. Came here since they have good reviews, will be taking my business elsewhere.

Honestly, disappointed. Ive gone here for years, before they became TGK. I kept going to them after they changed. But Ive noticed an increase in service recommendations that arent needed. They recommended new spark plugs in my most recent visit, but they had just changed the spark plugs at the very last visit! Luckily it sounded familiar to me, so I declined the service and checked my maintenance logs at home. I gave it 3 stars because they are friendly, quick, etc., but I would have a hard time trusting them again. Maybe I had a bad mechanic, but the business should probably take a close look at what theyre recommending to clients. It could have been a mistake, but it makes them look shady.

Stopped by after leaving Lifetime and noticed that my low tire pressure light was on. They were so friendly about getting me in to check the pressure and fill my tires. Just based on this brief experience, Ill be back when I need my vehicle serviced!

I got an oil change and tire rotation at TGK and it is the first time I didn’t feel like the place was trying to pull one over on me. They let me know some other maintenance I needed and made me feel no pressure to get it done but told be what pricing would be and how it would affect my car. They even send Vehicle Condition Report that includes pictures of YOUR car showing the status of different parts. I don’t live by any TGK locations- but I will now be using them when I’m in town and need work done, they’re great!

TGK was a great shop to visit- I scheduled an appointment for an oil change with ease, and they were even kind enough to honor a coupon I had from the mail but forgot at home. At the end of the visit they sent me a message detailing status on many other areas of my car (such as alignment, fluid levels, etc) which was above and beyond my expectations. Ive brought both our vehicles to TGK and have had a good experience. My most recent visit was unplanned- I smelled burning from the wheel well so I just stopped in with two kids under two. They got my vehicle in within 15 minutes and were able to give me answers in about 30 minutes. I told them we were trying to leave that night to travel to Grandma and Grandpas for Christmas. I was told they would have the work done on a few hours so it wouldnt interrupt our travel plans. I called TGK regarding prices on new brakes and rotors for my sons old 2004 Toyota. Pat was able to get me a great price and service it quickly. Unbelievably reasonable prices. We had a brake job, timing belt, water pump and oil change on our Honda pilot and the alignment was a courtesy. I wont quote the price because it was so inexpensive. But the mechanic is top notch and our car runs better than new.

At first when I took my car here for an oil change I really liked tgk, they were very professional and friendly. However when I got my car back the next day it was leaking oil. No biggie I just figured the plug wasn’t tightened properly so I ended up taking my car back to tgk to have it retightened. After I drop my car off tgk said the car was leaking from another location they couldn’t really specify without disassembly. So I ended up taking it to a different shop to have the car repaired and they ended up finding out that tgk stripped my oil pan and plug.

Initially drawn by a great deal which I am guessing is more introductory in nature. They inspected for needed repairs, and clearly explained what they were along with an email report with photos, but did not do the hard sell.

Its no longer easy to get replacement parts for my car, but they were able to source what they needed and get me back out on the road pretty quickly. The people there are very nice and there do good work for a good price plus there have a nice waiting area with a tv and mini fridge stocked up with pop but if u like coffee there coffee and water there too but I think after the first time going there I wornt stop going back to them for work the do really good work I recommend going there if u need work done on ur vehicle 🚗

Thought I had a thermostat problem, overheating just on the way to Walgreens, no heat in cabin. Winterizing offer found radiator leak with pressure test and they did a great job replacing it, no problems since. Makes me feel much better driving it this winter.

I have used this place for oil changes for years, but they recently expanded and changed names from Precision Auto to TGK. Recently (August 20) Came in with my 2009 Prius that was considerably overdue for an oil change. They had me still in their system, and turned it around very quickly for me. They also give you a an overall health report and they pointed out I could use some filters replaced, one really needed and the other probably needed it. I appreciated that there was no pressure, no chastisement for being overdue, and they were very transparent with what was a must and what was a nice to have. I got everything done right there, it took no longer than I would normally expect for an oil change. Really friendly, knowledgeable guys here, and they seem to have a good plan in place for safe social distancing right now too. Very happy with the new layout and same great service!

Came into the shop with my Ford Edge because of a squeek in my brakes. Found out it was due to a bad instalation job at the plymouth superior ford dealership (horrendous experience there, btw). Pat looked over my brakes and fixed the issues that the other dealer screwed up. Went out of his way to take apart and check both front and back brakes and lube them too. Offered to pay him, but wouldnt even charge me anything. Just asked that i use them in the future. (I know right?)That is something i will definitely be doing the next time i need anything done!
