This business treats everyone exceptionally well, they have some of the best customer service I have seen. I only needed a small opal to be replaced in a ring, even for such a low cost repair, I was treated the same way I would expect if I had been buying a $1000+ ring. I had originally stopped by a big chain store with the intention of having my late grandmother’s center stone - a jade stone - placed into a new band for a proposal. When they told me the they could not help me because of the type of stone, they pointed me towards the direction of Mark.When I first walked into Mark’s shop, I was greeted like a welcome guest - something not often received from high end jewelry stores. I told the story of my grandmother’s ring, how it came into this country, and how important it was to me to honor it by giving the center stone the correct new home. Mark’s process did not involve picking a generic band out of a case, simply because he has no generic bands on display nor in his store. Everything in his store is custom made.Mark introduced me to his 3 step design process, which involved a paper sketch, a digital rendering, then a 3D printed model. He asked for criticism during every step of the process, and by god we finished with exactly what I had started out with in my head.Mark’s passion for his work was clear every time we chatted, and his staff were equally amazing. Mark may be the face of the shop, but he stands behind his workers in full force, and it was refreshing to hear him give them credit where credit was definitely due. His daughter’s digital renderings were detailed, and his gold smith did great work. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to spend an extra couple bucks to create a one of a kind statement.

My experience with building my new ring was wonderful. Kelly is so knowledgeable and creative, which is just what I was looking for, not to mention how patient she is. I have to wear a medic alert bracelet and I’ve always hated the ones you buy online. I’ve had 5 different ones over my lifetime, and didn’t like how any of them looked. I finally just decided to go see what I could create from a jeweler, and I’m so glad I picked Mark Michael designs. The process was easy, and Mark was so patient and dedicated to making sure I was getting what I wanted. The final result was delicate and so beautiful! I have done business with Mark Michael previously and have always been completely satisfied. I had 2 rings with one of them being a family ring that was custom made for me 20 years ago from 4 generations of gold. I needed the ring resized larger and wanted the tanzanite stone and diamonds from the second ring put into the family ring to replace a synthetic birthstone and add the diamonds. I met with Mark and he had a creative plan to make it all happen. I picked the ring up and it took my breath away. It is stunning and turned out better than anything I could have imagined. I wanted to have my engagement ring made from the ground up and mark delivered! I brought him a few pictures of what I was thinking and he made It possibly. He designed it exactly as I imagined, the diamond he picked out for me was breathtaking and was two grades higher then what I was going for. He walked me through the entire process from start to finish and was in constant contact every step and what was going on and made sure I was more then happy with the design before proceeding. Once it was all done I was more then pleased with the results, the ring was absolutely beautiful and sparkled for days. He can even have custom engraving done on your ring as well. Literally just picked up my redesigned engagement ring and wedding band that Mark worked with us on and couldn’t be more thrilled with how it looks! My previous setting failed and we had to look at replacing it. We looked at a few other big box stores, but nothing was really catching our eye until we went to see Mark. He has such beautiful, creative and unique settings. Mark could see my emotional attachment to my original set and took great care in helping us choose the perfect new setting. My experience working with Kelly at Mark Michael was one of the best parts of my entire wedding planning experience. I came in during a quick visit back to my family in Minnesota with a vague idea of a custom wedding band built around my uniquely-shaped engagement ring. From the initial meeting, Kellys creativity, artistry, knowledge, meticulousness, and warmth was abundantly clear. She helped design and think through a wide handful of options for rings from the get-go, asking good questions to understand my vision and help me decide what I wanted. She also was extraordinarily helpful with logistics and managing buying, fitting, and preparing the rings across multiple states and time zones. 5 years ago I had a personalized gold bracelet created by Mark for my girlfriend. She was absolutely delighted with it. Among other parts of the design, the names of all of her grandchildren were inscribed (with room for any new arrivals!)For Christmas I thought of how nice it would be to re-create the same bracelet for my adult daughter has she has blessed me with grandchildren!. I found Mark Michael while looking for a place to make a custom engagement ring, and they came through with a beautiful, one of a kind ring. I worked with Kelly, and she made each step easy, and was willing to meet as much as needed. She only brought in the top diamonds in my criteria and budget, and I found the one that was perfect for the ring I had in mind. Kelly took my ideas and designed the ring from scratch to fit my diamond. I could tell how passionate she was, and she really brought my ideas to life. She was honest and up front about any challenges of fabricating my specific design, but she came up with solutions to make sure she gave me what I imagined. We chose a ring from a small designer on the East coast and tweaked the design to fit our diamond cut preference (a process that involved a few rounds of sketches). The communications for this process were seamlessly coordinated by Mark and, after a couple weeks, we had a final (and totally unique) design! Once the ring arrived, Mark appraised it on the spot so we could get it insured immediately. They were genuinely excited when my now-fiance picked up the ring, and we can come visit for a cleaning anytime we want.Ive had my ring for just under a week now and cant count the number of gushing compliments Ive received over it. My girlfriend and I worked with Kelly on designing an engagement ring and it turned out beautifully! Mark Michael Diamond was our first (and only) stop for ring shopping. Right from the beginning Kelly was great to work with and had lots of suggestions for us to make it both beautiful and practical. Kelly took the time to explain all the different options based on what we liked, explain the whole process from start to finish, and took the time to show us a lot of different diamonds and explain all their different characteristics so that we could choose the perfect one. The whole process was so easy and from start to finish only took about 3 weeks to have the ring in hand! She also asked a lot of questions that the two of us probably wouldnt have thought about, from how involved both of us wanted to be throughout the process, occupational/lifestyle questions to make sure the ring would be practical for our needs, to even the different size ring boxes depending on how you might be thinking of proposing. I know I had never thought about that, but Kelly definitely had it all covered! More than pleased, Im thrilled! I decided to redo my wedding diamond along with an inherited diamond. I had ideas for the design but Kelly was able to sketch out several designs based on my verbal description. The hardest part was choosing the design among so many interesting and beautiful ones. Excellent customer service! Dropped my ring off at 1230 to be resized and it was already done by 330 the same day! Loved the fast service and fair pricing. Also brought 2 other rings with me to get an estimate on repairs and felt no pressure to have work done on them right away. I will be using them in the future for any repairs/design ideas. We discovered this place through extended family members that had nothing but great things to say about it-they were right. I needed an engagement ring custom designed by Mark from an older ring. The technology he used was impressive, Auto CAD design followed up with a 3D printed model. He calmly walked us through the entire process, no pressure. The ring turned out much better than I imagined, I actually had to take a second look at it in the store to verify what I saw-it was magnificent!!! My Girl Friends going to love it.

She asked me to search rings and find things I liked! From that she determined what to do and developed some ideas which we in turn talked about and then she made a pic of the designs - gorgeous!
