Had a few bumps along the way but Roy smoothed it all out for me. Super happy with my experience dealing with him and would highly recommend going and talking to him if you are in the need of appliances. I dont have a ton of time and I told him what I was looking for and he got me a washer and dryer and had me all set up with delivery in under 20 minutes. Cant wait to have it dropped off and set up. On mothers day 2019 my washer broke... We could not find anybody that was open... By luck we happened to find Turney &Dunham appliances and drove the 20 miles to check them out.. My husband was not really sold on the idea to buy used and wanted to go get a new one at home Depot....I told him to please lets just go check it out...We got a used washer for $200.00 and they threw in a dryer for $50....... Here we are two years later and we still have the washer and it works great... The dryer we have not used its still here for when the original dryer takes a dump but I am sure it will be fine..Would I buy from Dunham Appliances again? 💯 Yes.. They will even deliver it for you if need be.

PAID $210 FOR AN ELECTRICIAN TO COME OUT AS DIRECTED BY THE SAMSUNG TECH. WASTED MONEY. THERE WERE ALREADY ENOUGH AMPS. AS OF TODAY, THE STOVE STILL DOESNT WORK.

My refrigerator broke, so I called there and asked if they had a service technician who could fix my fridge? The nice lady in the office told me they did! So on Monday they sent Joe to my house and he fixed my fridge and its running like new! Joe was very nice, courteous and wore his mask the whole time! Anytime a appliance breaks this is who I will call to fix them!!🙂👍💯

I had someone come out 2X to fix the dryer and right after he left it continued to squeal. I told the repair man that the part he was changing was previously changed, but he continued to replace the same part.

Dont waste your time advertise items on Craigslist and never have it. They waste your time and think you dont matter. Go to another store save time and get your item quicker. Waited for a month on them to get the refrigerator they advertise having never showed up and different excuse every time. You have been warned stay far from here. Your response is a joke just like your customer service. I have all ready purchased a new refrigerator so glad I checked you out on the BBB many unresolved complaints against you selling bad appliances. American Freight has in stock items better prices and customer service that is great. Highly recommend them if someone needs a item try then out.

Tech came out and gave me pricing on the part for my washer without pricing or ordering the part, then stated because my washer is computerized its more money, he said if I had a regular washer the part would be $20 but instead it is $120 why would I pay almost$200 for a used washer may as well buy another, so he suggested I come in store and their washers are $200 just wondering so many different brands of washers how can u quote a price off the top of your head ?????

Great prices, but terrible communication and our dryer was not installed properly and left us with a gas leak.Had to call three times to follow up on my delivery which wound up being nearly four hours late. I noticed a slight gas smell after the young man left and discovered a significant gas leak using soapy water. We now have to shut off our gas and can not use our brand new dryer and have to have a family friend plumber come and replace the connections which should have been done originally.

We were once happy customers until our washer started to leak and have been told for over a month they ordered the part. I have been paying on a washer I cant use become it leaks so bad its rotting my floors. Please if you cant afford new your better off using eagle rentals

I bought a washer and dryer set for 600 and a fridge for 900 from this place. During delivery they scratched up the doorway so I had to repaint. Then I use the washer and dryer 1 TIME and the washer stops working. I contacted the owner and Their repair guy both stating that they were only doing appointments due to Covid 19....so I make a appointment, no one showed or called on appointment day, so from March until now June I have been going to laundry mat spending money when I BOUGHT a washer and dryer and I called this week and sent a text about how unprofessional the business is ran and got a call from owner but still no one has came to repair so now I’m moving and called to see if they can buy it back because google listed them as a business that buys used appliances and I was told that they don’t do that lol so now I’m out of $600 smh DONT GO HERE! I TRY TO SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESSES BUT SOME ARE JUST NOT WORTH IT SMFH! BEWARE!!

Awful place to buy appliances. Their prices are good, but you get what you pay for.I purchased a Kenmore Elite washer and dryer set here less than a year ago. The employees were very nice but good luck ever getting a hold of them on the phone or leaving a message in the full voicemail box.To start, they completely forgot my original delivery date. They made it right, the delivery guys were very nice but I did have to jump-start their broken down truck so they could leave my driveway.Less than 1 month later the solenoid on the washing machine stopped working, so it would not fill. They have a 90 day warranty, but it took me more than a week of trying to get someone to answer the phone. They came out and fixed the issue. 3 months later, after the warranty expired, the dryer stopped heating up. On my own to pay for the repair. Now the knob on the washing machine will no longer engage the cycle. By the time Im done paying for all these repairs I might as well have bought new appliances.Avoid at all costs. Nice people, terrible business.

Roy is an absolute lair. Found his business on site called Offer Up . First off he sold me a broken fridge, an after 4 months he still has not delivered me a replacement fridge. Went to his store 11/25/17 for a meet and great he offers no apologies for his behavior, since the summer I have lost 200.00 worth of food. He sets appointments for delivery which is 11/26/17 and never shows up and there is always an excuse my truck broke my phone lines not working the reason he wont answer phone, this latest one is looking you in your eye promising to deliver. Its like you try to support black owned business and this is what you get. I never make reports on people. But when it comes to my family feeding them and cash that I paid in full I have a problem with poor treatment as you walk around with my money and I have nothing to show for it. I would never advise anyone to shop here in life there are things call PRINCIPLES. What upsets me the most is he just flat out lies. How I was raised you dont treat people like that especially a paying customer. What you put out into the universe will be received thats what I love about Karma. Royboy2 do not follow on Offer Up. So sad it had to come to this. Please treat people better and start with honesty its truly the best policy. Hope this helps.

Great place to shop.

Bought am washing machine from there, and from day one it would dance around and if you put it on anything above low spin it would start smoking. Called several times and had a repairman come out numerous occasions just to continuously be told that there’s nothing wrong. Finally had a certified repairman come look at it and found out that the bearings are bad and it’s going to be a $600 repair. I highly suggest going somewhere other than here. They won’t stand behind there work specially if your passed the 90 day warranty period.

It’s a Sunday 7/8/18 and they open at 12pm. My husband and I were here at 12:30pm and doors were locked.we called nobody picks up. 5 minutes later an employee comes towards the door to unlock it. Did not even say hello. As we came in he got settled before he helped us. We asked we needed a dryer and washer set. He showed us the cheapest set. We asked if that was the only electrical dryer and he says yes. We asked about another set that we seemed interested that had the electrical dryer and he says “But that’s $699.” We felt offended as if we were assumed that we couldn’t afford it. It’s bad customer service from the start. It’s wasnt worth taking the risk to buy used appliances from there. That made us feel if they’re this bad in customer service and not even open on time why trust their warranty.

Dont waste your time going to the scratch and dent outlet. They have maybe 20 total items there, mostly refrigerators. Forget about finding a washer and dryer. (They had exactly 2 washers and 2 dryers) From the photos I expected hundreds of items.

BUYER BEWARE! I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Turney and Dunham Appliances. It was delivered yesterday and 24 hours later my freezer is not freezing my food, my ice is just water in the ice trays, my food is not cold in the refrigerator and is spoiling. I left several messages and I am demanding a full refund! I do not want any repair guys coming to my home trying to repair a product that I only had for 24 hours. I just want my money back for a bad product that was sold to me.

Its is to bad that the customer service and attitude of this gentleman is horrible, because there are nice appliances here. Came here yesterday and bought a washing machine. Was told it would be delivered the same day after 5, waited till midnight and no machine, after being told numerous times they were on the way. So Im there when the store opens on sunday to see where my washer is! We were told we were liars and didnt schedule a delivery for that day. We were told we need to leave the store cause it wasnt gonna help. We were told we were in the way and they had customers to attend to (like we were not customers anymore and just bought a washing machine less than 24 hrs ago!)...AND AFTER ALL OF THAT he realized it WAS HIS MISTAKE! That whole experience was so insulting to say the least! Little do they know, I needed a dryer and stove and fridge, but I would never step foot in this place again!

Ive had nothing but a bad experience since I bought my washer dryer set. First they sold me a broken washer. Then I tried on multiple occasions to get it fixed. Its been a month and they finally came to look at it. Then they say it shouldnt have left the floor. So they brought me a new washer... a broken one! Now Im sitting here waiting and waiting for them to show up wth a third washer. And I was told 11:30/noon today. Its currently 430 and Im getting no replies. I do not recommend them. They dont even deserve this one star, honestly. The owner Roy decided to make his own review because of my bad one. My third washer is also a bust. The drain pump on it blew after one load. Very sad and burdened by these unprofessional people.

Went into the store and scheduled an appointment for dishwasher repair. They were supposed to be here between 12 and 1 on Friday February 8 th. Called them at 4:20 PM to see what the problem was, I watched the guy write down all my information.The young lady that answered the phone didnt know anything about the appointment.So much for supporting local businesses. Do NOT buy anything from this poor excuse of a business! I was sold a $550 dollar french door refrigerator from the owner Roy back in Febuary. They provide a 6 month service warranty with their appliances. Not long after the refrigerator was delivered my freezer stopped freezing and ruined my food. Their repair guy came and charged the refrigerator with frenon and left. This happened 2 more times after and I demanded a replacement. Roy promised to have one delivered and everyday that they were suppose to deliver a new refrigerator to us, he would ignore mine and my boyfriends calls. So the money I have spent on replacing my food 3 times and the amount of the refrigerator I could have just bought a brand new one from an actual store. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB since he already has 1 complaint, I will make it 2. And unlike previous customers who have given up getting ripped off by this poor excuse of a business I will continue to fight until I receive my money back or this pathetic unethical business is shut down for good!

I WILL DEFINITELY PURCHASE FROM TURNEY DUNHAM APPLIANCES AGAIN! We purchased a maytag french door refrigerator at the end of February but since we were in the process of moving we didnt want delivery until the end of March. They delivered within 2 business days of me calling to advise we were ready and that is when the warranty started on it. 2 weels later, the fridge lost all freon so we called and Roy had the repairman out the next day. He made the repair on site but unfortunately it didnt hold. No worries though! We called Roy and he said that he was just going to replace it for us. It took a week (we did tell him that we were not in a rush as we had a backup) but Roy delivered on his promise and was actually able to replace it with the exact same model!Roy and his team were very communicative throughout the whole process and his delivery guys are extremely polite, respectful, and courteous. Very pleased with the service I have received.

Unprofessional!!!! First fridge didnt work and damaged property that still hasnt been repaired. Second fridge lasted a week. Was dropped off nasty. Property still not repaired. Found a roach two days later. Smdh...

Terrible experience. Bought a Kenmore french door refrigerator. Delivered 3 days after promised in a rickety old truck that was too short for the refrigerator to stand upright - had it leaned over against the side of the truck at a 45 degree angle and strapped down. Was definitely even more scratched and dented than when I looked at it in the store. Had to help the guy unload it and let him use my tools to connect the water line. Ice maker stopped producing within 1 month of purchase and freezer wouldnt go below 40 degrees F in another month. After 1 no-call-no-show for service, I finally got someone to come out and look at it after posting a bad review on their Facebook page (which they promptly deleted). Serviceman recharged the freon and added a sealant (which I have been told has been illegal for 8 years by EPA regulation by a local repair shop who refused to work on it). Again, 1 month later ice production halted. Was told a serviceman would come out the following Saturday -again a no-call-no-show. Another month later the freezer is at 40 degrees F. I texted and called again and was told they would call me back in 10 minutes. 2 hours later I texted again and got a reply that they would call back in 10 minutes. 17 hours later no call back.

Bad business...first fridge lasted 2 days. Delivery guys damaged my steps. Was told it would be repaired...never happened. Second fridge came dirty and had roaches. It worked for 4 days. Took almost a week before they came out and brought parts to fix it. Owner Roy stopped answering calls and texts. Lost food, money, and time. I dont recommend this appliance store to anyone...EVER!
