Good selection, decent price on gas. Lines were busy but they opened new ones quickly. Much cleaner than the nearby Covington location.

Great clean store. Not to busy, especially if you stay away from peak hours.

Kiana in the pharmacy is excellent. She is smart, helpful, positive, and proactive. She has made a great impression several times with her efficiency. I hope management appreciates her. This kind of employee is rare, especially in this day and age.

The Maple Valley location is always dirty. The garbage cans outside the store are always overflowing with trash and shopping carts are strewn about the entire parking lot. I haven’t gone here once and thought, “am I in Maple Valley or Downtown Renton?” Safeway across the street and QFC down the road is much cleaner.

Im not sure why the difference, but the staff here are WAY less friendly and attentive than Covington. They wont give you a second glance and when you ask a question you are clearly interrupting them. You are either in their way or, at best, just another thing to take care of.We also recently had some photos printed there for Christmas cards. They looked like Id printed them on a home printer from 10 years ago. Not the best quality, but not enough time for a second attempt.The store also isnt organized in a way thats very intuitive. Very difficult to find what you need. But thats true of the Covington store as well. It works in a pinch, but its far from my first choice.

Last year, I noted that its a huge, clean store & has nice, helpful employees. And now in Oct 2021, I just went and saw what looked like feces on the floor. There were several pieces, and some unfortunate person had clearly stepped in one. The pieces went down an aisle, and there was more in the back aisle near the milk/freezers.

The hot Deli is useless here!

If you have no COVID concerns whatsoever then I recommend this place absolutely and pre-COVID my rating was 5/5. With no enforcement of masks it is not a safe place to visit if you value your health.

Id prefer to not be followed around by staff members while shopping for socks and underwear. Why am I a threat? The 2 people not wearing masks in the store are ignored. I follow the rules. Mask on, never steal. Just because I look different than the other people in town doesnt mean Im going to steal.

Even though they have an announcement over the loud speakers saying masks are required for all vaccinated and unvaccinated customers, I saw customers AND employees all over not wearing masks. I won’t be coming back.

Very good store. Almost always has what you need and has a large selection of meats and has a section of fresh seafood. Pretty good bakery section, the clothes there are ok, but this isn’t really the place to go if you’re looking for a fresh fit. Overall, if I need anything I usually go here to get it.

Several employees were not wearing masks or gloves. No one wiping down carts but there were wipes. Young man bringing in carts did not have on mask or gloves. Saw no one anywhere in store sanitizing. Cashiers should use sanitizer after every customer. Have not been in your store since March and will not return. You are the only store in Maple Valley I feel is unsafe. The one positive is your staff are friendly. Safeway and QFC are providing what they need to do, not sure why Fred Meyer is not.

Very nice Fred Meyer. Clean, they had two people at each register one helping the customer the other cleaning and sanitizing. The routes were wide. I would be a bigger Fred Meyer fan if our local store was like this one

Spoke with a manger by the name of Matt but it doesn’t look like much is going to come from me reporting a guy who some how rents space from Fred Meyer at the hot food section long story short this guy try to fight me while I’m speaking to a Fred Meyer associated explaining to him how there needs to be a sign cause we as consumers are confused to what is what the guy out of no where points his fingers at me and curses and approach me in an aggressive manner to fight and all I can do was laugh I told Matt to review the tape and something had to be done with this guy the poor cashier was apologizing and he had nothing to do with this guys behavior smh Fred Meyers should really do something about this guy cause had I not acting calm this situation could have went left very fast

Very nice spacious store with a variety of items. Wonderful helpful employees available to customers. Kyle in the gourmet cheese and deli department is knowledgeable and always ready with great recommendations. I love that the deli carries Boars head meats a nd cheeses! The Fred Meyer app is one of the best for creating a list, finding coupons and sales, and item locations in the store. It also gives you a rough estimate of the money you will spend allowing you to stay on budget.

This is the only grocery store I shop at! Excellent selection of fresh healthy food not found in other Fred Meyers. Great customer service, lovely displays in the plant section, nice store layout. The only issue Ive had is the fruit fly breakout over the extra hot summer. We had to stop buying fruit! The pineapples were particularly infested. Other than that I would definitely recommend this Fred Meyer

The Fred Meyer in Maple Valley is a bit less expensive for gas than others in the area, the store interior layout and atmosphere is always pleasant and inviting. The store is always clean and items are always fresh.

It was good, the other day i go there to buy some pizza sticks and they were $2 for 4 of them. But today i go and they are $5 for 4. Like OK? It was a very interesting experience. If you go later in the day the food from the deli is marked down and becomes cheaper!

Seems a decent enough place, nothing particularly special, but nothing really to gripe about. Its a large metal box full of chain-store stuff, which is more or less what youd want of a general grocery and housewares store. Stopped in while I was over visiting my friend to get munchies for our evening working in the garage, and I was able to acquire all the junk food on my list. They had an amusing sign up, selling peppers off of a cart that was covered in grapes, so we got a good chuckle out of that, anyway!

Ive never been treated as poorly by any grocery story as I was by this Fred Meyer location. The management are crass and hateful, openly being disrespectful to their LGBTQ staff while touting their inclusiveness. We were lied to repeatedly when we tried to alert them to an apparently obvious (obvious by their blatant shifty behavior) shoplifter. They told me multiple, conflicting lies about the shoplifter, including that Loss Prevention was surveilling the guy as a suspected part of an organized crime ring, before finally admitting the person was IN Loss Prevention AFTER I was made to look like a racist because the person was dark-skinned. The furtive, shoplifter-style behavior and the stories I was told by management were why I kept reporting on the guy, if theyd been at all honest Id have dropped it. Ive never felt so betrayed by a business I was trying to help.That was just the climax of the poor treatment we got here. Poor treatment at the deli where the managers seem to think one sauce per pound of potato wedges is too much; that when Im trying to buy small, affordable amounts of meat and cheese they should take advantage of me and give me a $10 portion of cheese when I asked for a $2 amount; repeatedly trying to charge us for a soda when we wanted ice water and Fred Meyer policy (confirmed repeatedly) is to not charge for ice water. Staff were hostile and rude on all fronts. Products were stocked poorly and often expired or rotten on the shelf. Bathrooms were cleaned poorly and rarely.Pros: If you are extremely careful, it is possible to find a small number of acceptable products.Cons: Overall quality, staff attitudes, management culture and behavior, store maintenance, product safety, prices, stock rotation, product variety and availability.

Nice place to just chill out if you want to, but NEVER on the couches.

The reason this feed Meyers stands out more than any others is the floral department. Very friendly and they produce absolutely beautiful personalized bouquets! Just had one made for my fiance and she loved it.

I used to love this Fred Meyer. It used to be clean and well stocked. I know it’s a busy store but it is incredible how empty their shelves can look at times. There is always trash outside the building. This used to be a nice store. Edit...their reset has been a disaster! I’ll never shop at this store again. Edit...This stores management has done a POOR job regulating the mask mandate. I will never shop at this store again. Shame on them

I love the great service! Everything is easy to find and the employees are so helpful. Its nice knowing you can go somewhere and you are being greeted with a small town friendly feel.

Not a good experience. Store was not faced. Couldnt find items due to not being able to read labels. New personal shoppers were in the way and wouldnt move over so store shoppers could get to product. System needs some work for sure.

Waited over an hour for scheduled curbside grocery pickup. There was no communication on the wait duration. I could of shopped, went home, and made dinner in the time it took to get the order. Disappointed to say the least.

Staff have always been friendly and helpful. I find just about everything I need! Can get a bit crowded since this store is supporting a rapidly growing community. Ive been very satisfied with the produce, meat & seafood as well as the deli.

Would give it 5 stars but at the Gas Station they make you answer a question about additives to your fuel. After 30 seconds it times out to NO but still I HATE any marketing that SLOWS me down from making a purchase. Only sheep like that stuff.

Always clean and well stocked. The bulk section has a large variety of quality items that are money savers when buying for a family. The organic produce section could be larger and more varied, why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Great products, great prices

Location, no issues from me, easy to get in and out of going either direction. Finding anything and everything Ive looked for Ive had no issues with and when Ive had to ask for assistance or deal with their staff, Ive had no issues and is easy time.Unfortunately, the sandwiches in the deli, that are premade, are made with bre butter on them.

Parking was a bit hard to find, other than that my shopping experience here went smoothly and without a hitch!

Maple Valley Fred Meyer has a really nice and helpful staff. They are always making sure there customers are happy and satisfied when they leave the store. Havent had such good experiences at other fred Meyers but Maple Valley always a good experience

Used to be my go to place to get what I needed. After the remodel, its over. If I wanted to wait in line, bag my own stuff or become a checker, Id go to WinCo or Walmart.

The customer service counter at this location literally has the worst customer service I’ve had experienced.

Pleasantly there was more staff then shoppers and they have dramatically reduced prices on clothing and housewares.

The Covington store is by far, in my opinion, the better of the stores in my area. Great service, reasonable prices and the store manager is approachable any time.

Place is well kept up and clean. Large organic section. Prices for clothes especially could be better. Not a wide selection on groceries.

The Maple Valley Fredmeyer is great! They always have great customer service and I know I can find just about anything I need there. My son was recently diagnosed with celiacs disease and I was so happy to find that Fredmeyer even has a great selection for gluten free items. I highly recommend this store!

I used to think this was the best Fred Meyer Ive ever been to. My last two visits I was rushed through checkout by being pushed into the express lane and self checkout stand and there were items I needed in the normal checkout stand.Who ever from management had the stupid idea to hurry customers really ruined my shopping experience. Im now turning to amazon and Safeway for the items they didnt give me the time to get.Im sad to say that if you actually want to do all your shopping in one place and not be rushed, then dont shop here.Theres prompt service and then theres being treated like a dollar rather than a customer. Im very disappointed in how poorly the customer friendly atmosphere has changed recently.

This review is specifically for the Clicklist department and the program overall.I’ve been a loyal amazon fresh customer since it started. I am a very busy woman with 4 kids and 4 pets. I need to maximize any convenience I can. But I also need to save money and Amazon Fresh was great, but often I knew I was paying more and I accepted the added cost for the saving of my time and sanity.But Fred Meyer Clicklist is the best of both worlds. I placed my order in my PJ’s and slippers for the next morning. And did I need a lot of groceries.... but now not only do I get the savings if I coupon clipped and carefully shopped the best prices, I also still get my gas rewards. Mom Win!So not only is click list awesome, Janine the assistant of Clicklist is such an asset to your company. So warm and personable. She also has pride in what she does and should be recognized for being an awesome employee. I will look forward to being a clicklister from now on!

Young girl was our cashier. Gotta love Sarah! But, there were no box boys to be found as we checked out. My hubby and I both have back probs. so this was not pleasent, putting our purchases in carts ourselves.Did not find some items we were looking for. Prices were good, for a change.

The largest selection of specialty beer, cheeses and bakery of all Fred Meyers. This its my go to store since moving out to MV mainly because they carry everything all the other stores do, plus a ton of specialty options, specifically in their cheese and beer selections!

Often too overcrowded. Prices could be better and drink selections for alcohol could use more variety. Staff is often seen as bored and uninterested in their duties.

Nice layout, plenty of cashiers lines were decent and manager helped us get service for propane exchange.

I have a broken foot and went in early this morning because I cant shop and walk on crutches at the same time. The people stocking the shelves have aisles blocked and theyre just downright rude about letting you through even with a broken foot. You really need to teach your stalking people some manners This Is frequent and if you try to shop while theyre stocking shelves they show attitude. Bad experience. I wont be as polite next time.

Do not ever try to order furniture here. All the employees working in furniture dept are liars including their supervisor. I ordered sofa which they said will be delivered in 2 weeks . After 2 wk they said only half order is received either pick this order and go to other Fred Mayer which is 40 mile away to pick the rest or wait for another 2 wk. I opted to wait but my order was never delivered. All these employees were lying to me

Poorly staffed for Thanksgiving shopping. 2 check stands open, with lines going back into the aisles. The front end staff are pushing people to go through the self checkouts. Mind you, peoples shopping baskets are full of Thanksgiving dinners. Sorry, Fred Meyer, Ill shop at Safeway across the steet

Newer, huge, very clean store with their one-step shopping format. Good customer service from most departments.

They advertised Bay english muffins but did not have them. I went to the Covington and Maple Valley stores. The covington store was very helpful, not the Maple Valley store.

Other stores offer more stocked produce options.

Parking can be a bit tough at times but the inside is easy is to navigate and the bakery sometimes hands out cookies for the kids.

My parents live by this store, so I dont frequent it, but I it when I do visit, the staff are always friendly, the store is clean and tidy, and the items I want are in stock.
