It took me awhile to post this but...OMF has won a customer for life! About a month ago we went shopping there for the first time for a bed for our four year old son. Id heard positive recommendations from acquaintances and friends, and the business model, such as I was aware of it (cut out the middle man) certainly made sense. That said, I still came away very impressed. Not only did the mattress prices and quality we sampled compare VERY well against local competitors (e.g. Mattress Firm, Lebeda, etc.) but they gave us a tour of the factory and everything. Clearly this is a company powered by people passionate by what they do! We purchased a mattress at what felt like a VERY reasonable price and had it delivered to our home and set up several days later. So far weve loved it (as has, most importantly, our son). But I have so say, what really took the cake (and prompted this review) was our salesman, Tyler, really going above and beyond. As you can see from the photo below, unbeknownst to us, our son dropped his toy calculator on the floor while we shopped. Not only did Tyler find it, and remember who it belonged to, but he MAILED IT BACK TO US. (We hadnt even noticed it was missing tbh.) You guys are great - OMF all the way and if you head in anytime soon - ask for Tyler!

Seph is a great employee! Hes always been quick and smart to handle me in a way to keep me loyal to this company! If you are looking for an AMAZING mattress without the games then this is the place to go. Their salesman and delivery team are all 💯!! Staff were very helpful and kind. They really cared about us when we came in. They have the best mattresses ever, regular and orthopedic all for prices 1/5 the cost of a sleep number bed. You can even get a tour of the factory in back where they make the mattresses on site. All American made. They even deliver your mattress for you for relatively cheap too. Absolutely best place to buy a mattress, box spring, head board, ever!

Great local company with excellent customer service! My first mattress from here lasted 10 years! I recently upgraded to a king size Orthopedic Eurotop and love it.

Came in to see what was available on Saturday, trying to support local. We received a lukewarm greeting and a brief explanation on the mattress types available.When we stated we were interested in looking at latex and memory foam mattresses, we were snubbed. I dont understand why a spring mattress is preferred and as a potential customer why my preferences make a difference in the kind of service I get.We left, took our business elsewhere. We likely wont be in the market for a mattress for a very long time.

Worked with Tim Grant at Maplewood location to find the right mattress for us He explained the differences in the various mattresses. In addition we have a yr to be sure the mattress is right for us. Had also been to Woodbury location but the manager there gave little time and minimum effort. Tim made this shopping experience so much better!

Stopped in today and was helped out by Tim. He was great! He showed us the factory and the build of different mattresses. We were able to test out each mattress we were interested in. No pushy sales. Really a plesent experience!

I purchased a New mattress and 2 box springs from OMF had to wait for the furniture to be delivered. Found out it was to tall wanted to return the new unopened box springs and was declined.Take the money and run tactics.Return policy sucks.Never recommending or purchasing from them again

My partner and I were in the market for a new bed the other day and had an absolutely amazing experience at this location! With COVID-19 ruining a lot of local businesses we wanted to be sure to help support our local economy and what we got was was probably the best service ever. A couple years ago we shopped for a temporary mattress at a different mattress store and nobody said a word to us; at the Original Mattress Factory we were greeted by Tyler almost immediately who got right down to welcoming us and showing us what sets them apart. They make all the mattresses in house so it was incredibly educational and cool to see the difference and how everything is constructed! Even without a Labor Day sale we still got a premium product for less than a huge big box chain, and we got it the same day too!! Tyler was very educational and low pressure, he invited us to try out multiple different beds at our own pace (they have disposable shams for the pillow and mattress so that made us a ton more comfortable too). I’ll definitely be recommending everyone I know that’s in the area and needs a mattress to go see him! Thank you again for making everything so easy and stress free!

It has been 16 years and I am still sleeping on the same mattress I bought from the Original Mattress Factory. I have bought several replacements for my childrens beds and yet Im still using the same one. It is very quality and my bed is still in good condition except from wear and tear on top but I added a mattress pad to cover it. I will definitely go back to buy another one when this one is no good anymore.

The store kept the number of people inside to a minimum to help keep people social distancing and all of the employees were wearing face shields and they even gave each person trying out beds a personal bed and pillow covering. The only thing they werent doing was requiring customers to wear masks or shields of some kind.The service was friendly and informative and I never felt pressured. Plus the store off of Highway 36 is the factory and they make their inner spring beds right in the back room. On top of all of that the prices are competitive and often lower than their competitors.

This place is great! Everything they say in their radio ad is true.Dave (our sales advisor) was great! Very knowledgeable. Taking a quick tour of the factory and seeing the cutouts from the national brands vs the mattresses they make was incredible.Their show room has about 12 mattresses in it, but they only sell what they make, so this is not a downside. We got a great king mattress with the head/foot adjuster for a comparable price for just a mattress (on sale) at a big furniture store.I will tell everyone I know to shop here and I will be back.

Mattresses are very durable, comfortable, and affordable. Sale rep was very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. Was very happy to try out the various mattress options, however, Im not sure I chose the correct firmness for my back issues. Will continue the 30 test, and see how it goes. Delivery was fast and the guys got the new mattress/box up the steps and set up with efficiency. (I think they have done this a few times before!! Customer service was greatThe mattresses in the showroom are nothing like what you purchase. They need to update the showroom with mattresses that are not warn out. So customers are not expecting the same mattress when they pick theirs up.Telling the customer that their mattress they get will be a little stiffer than the one in the showroom, is a complete understatement. If they use their own box spring. It really is no different - Even when purchasing your box spring.

We had our first mattress for 16 years. Its still a great mattress, but we wanted to get a king. The sales person was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly! The beds are fairly priced and constructed locally. They are also comfortable and long lasting.

This makes the third time Ive shopped at the Original Mattress Factory. No gimmicks, sales run around, and the great products speak for themselves. I purchased my first mattress set in 2000 and was the first and only place I shopped for a second set. Now my kids are enjoying their new mattresses.

Excellent mattresses at good prices with great customer service. We bought an ultra - firm mattress from the Original Mattress Factory 14 years ago, and it is still doing well, so we moved it to the cabin because we needed one up there. I went to the Original Mattress Factory to buy another. They still had the information on our 14-year ago purchase and showed me the current version of that mattress. I laid down on it with my pillow (yes, I go mattress shopping with my own pillow), and it felt just like home! Their mattresses are warrantied for 12 years, but if you regularly flip and rotate them, they last much longer than that. The new one was in our bedroom within 2 days, and now we sleep well at home AND at the cabin!

By far, the best mattress shopping experience ever. It was so wonderful to be given so much information and to not be pressured at all to make any decisions. We stopped in and got the info and tried out mattresses, then shopped around town with the info they gave us, and I was shocked to find out NOT ONE company will tell you whats in the mattress. Most shops customer service people couldnt answer our questions. So it was a no brainer to go back and get our mattress here. And the price was much lower than all the competitors we looked at, but had way better quality. Dont waste your time and just buy from here. We will be back again for sure!

I just ordered another custom mattress for a motorhome/van, the store connected me with someone at the factory as it was pretty custom, they were great to work with and made my folding Murphy bed idea come to life. Everything was GREAT! To make sure I was buying the right mattress, I went over to the factory showroom and announced that I was going to take my nap there, and I did! I gave the mattress about 1/2 hour test. Didnt sleep, but I sure rested for about 20 minutes! They were very helpful and delivery was right on time. Super service.

After debating a purchase of a new mattress for months, decided to stop at the Maplewood facility on Sunday. Salespeople were very informative and patient as we tried many as we narrowed it down. Chosen for price, warranty, delivery and disposal of a totally spent futon, we left having finally made our choice. The following Friday morning our custom mattress was delivered right on time and set up. All packaging material and the old futon mattress were taken away. Great experience, great service.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable of the construction of the mattresses. Learned a lot. Also it was nice that they give you a foam pad for free in order to get used to your new mattress.

A month ago I purchased a mattress from the Original Mattress Factory. First, the process of purchasing was detailed and very informative. I was shown the construction of their mattresses along side the construction of other popular brands. The sales clerk was very patient and answered all my questions. Based on my telling him what I was looking for he narrowed the selection in the showroom to three and let me take as long as I wanted to lie on them and make a decision. He asked about my bed frame and based on my response determined that a low profile box spring was the best. Now that Ive slept on the mattress for a month I can say that it has made a positive difference in the quality of my sleep and the reduced back pain I experience when I get up. I couldnt be more happy or recommend them more highly!

There mattress are great for the first 6 months. After that they start to leave depressions where you sleep unless you turn them every 3 mouths. And you also need to sleep on them sideways. This is according to their directions. If you’re older this is quite impossible to do. When you spend over 1000.00 dollars on a mattress you expect more! Less then 4 years and we are getting a new mattress because of being so sore we can’t sleep in it anymore. We have a niece and her husband that is having the same problems.

The experience of selecting a good mattress was free of stress. After a brief tour of the factory and review of the construction of OMF mattresses, we moved on to pressure-free mattress selection. Following a great explanation of the different types I was left free to wander the show floor and try various styles. Salesperson was available to answer question but no pressure to select one style over another. Talk about price. Very low due to the direct factory purchase. Delivery and removal charges are very reasonable and the fact that removed, useable mattresses are donated to shelters is a decision maker. Certainly will purchase from OMF again.

Sales guys are nice enough. They know their stuff and can sell their beds. Daughter is happy with her new bed. Feel like we received an honest price and good value. On the other hand, at least one truck driver forgot he was driving a truck with their logo all over it. Apparently he had to get back to the Maplewood store in a hurry. Honestly, you’re getting paid while you drive, chill out.

Took the time to educate us on mattresses and quality box springs. When we were breaking down our mattress and box spring for them to take we found our box spring lacked any kind of springs and did not contain durable lumber. Our new bed is amazing!

The staff were great. My one complaint is that they need to changed out the showroom mattresses and box springs. The mattress we selected was a lot stiffer than when we tried it in the store.

Ive purchased 3 beds from these guys now and let me tell you, my kids and I have no complaints. Great service and a very well quality product. I would recommend some of the predatory sales guys pull back a bit, they can be very intrusive at times. We just kept coming back until we found someone we felt was deserving of the commission.

OMF has great service and sales people who could answer all my questions. The quality of the mattresses I’ve purchased for everyone in our family is second to no other mattress store. Best of all the price is also the best!

I liked to up front non sales pitch. Just pointed out the product and delivered as promised.

Unfortunately I had a problem with my mattresses and sad to say they were not helpful in finding a resolution. Ordered 2 mattresses for a Queen over Queen bunk bed. Bunk bed frame will accommodate a mattress up to 61 x 81. Standard queen is 60x80, agreed to by the lady at customer service. However, the actual dimension of the mattresses are 59 x 61 1/2, too long thus preventing the mattress from fitting inside the bunk bed frame. When I called the store in Maplewood I purchased from to notify of the issue, I was hoping the store would offer to make it right by replacing the mattress, but was told, surprisingly, that there was nothing that could be done as it was not their fault. She claimed standard deviation of 1/2-1. If it were only 1 I would not have a problem and would not have called. The mattress does not fit, I will have to purchase again from another manufacturer. Truthfully Im shocked that they wont stand by their quality assurance.

When they say Made in the USA these are really made right here in Maplewood. At this location they have view in windows will you can actually see the mattresses and Box Springs being made right before your eyes. Theres good parking in a show room and friendly staff to help you quickly get your mattress or Box Spring not just selected but loaded or delivered to your home. The prices here are fair but I find the quality is not just compare obal but actually exceeds other mattresses Ive tried. Custom made mattresses take about 3 to 5 days and will give you up date of when its ready and you can have it delivered to your local store or pick it up right at the factory.

What a pleasant experience. I had just begun to look for a new mattress and OMF was my first stop. Tyler was professional and very helpful. He was not pushy and trying to make me buy their mattress. Little did I know that OMF would be my only stop!!!!!! I returned there a second time (a different salesperson), got the same facts about the mattresses, still not pushy and felt they genuinely wanted me to get the best mattress for ME. I bought my new mattress at OMF and it was delivered 2 days later. The delivery men were just as professional as the sales people.

I learned a lot about mattresses and what goes in to making their mattresses. He helped me choose a mattress with a comfortable hardness in my price range. No pressure sales.The mattress and box spring were delivered the next day! The delivery charge was nominal and they took my old set away for less than I could have gotten had I done it myself.Had I known the queen sized box spring would not fit up my narrow staircase, and had I known queen sized box springs come in two sections (additional charge), I would have saved myself frustration and two trips to the Maplewood location. Lesson learned.Regardless, I recommend them over any other mattress dealer.
