This Schnucks has a slightly less choices and Stock for instance a good cheeses than the other stores. today Wednesday at five or 6 o’clock the checkers were fast which was unusual and wonderful. but NONE of the checkers cover their nose with their mask- every every checker was wearing their mask on their mouth only

I miss the Shrewsbury Schnucks. Clean, big and never a problem. Today at Maplewood I was at least able to get everything I need. But there were only TWO checkers on a Friday evening, which for many is payday. I helped my poor checker bag my groceries. I asked here why it was noticeably hot there and she said the A/C was out in that part of the store! I dont check myself out; Schnucks gives me no employee discount. I should get something for bagging my own stuff!! And pay a 40 hour living wage!! If you PAY them, they will come!!

Prices too high,no workers,always out of alot of different products,the Richmond Heights locations has things I want that this location used to carry and I always have to complain. Most employees and security guards are cool.

Always nice and helpful employees; I just think that they dont have very good customer service when you go to check out 10 to 15 minutes before the store closes, they only have the self checkout lanes open. The reason I dont agree with this is, you cannot use your rewards in self check-out; Well sometimes that is all I have to use. They really should have a regular lane open all the way until closing.

This is the Shnucks closest to me and it gets the job done. But the other locations I have been to are much more developed. they have a larger selection, more staff, etc. I do love the Shnucks rewards program and app but I wish you could use your points at self checkout.

Very clean, organized, well stocked and friendly staff! I went so that I could help my daughter shop for the first time using her WIC card and it was done very easily!

Great service from the checker. Very quick checkout system with lots of lanes open. Only took off star bc several things i bought rang up at a higher price than what the shelf or ad said. The one I noticed, she adjusted but the others I didnt notice until I got home

I live within walking distance of schnucks at Westfall Plaza but this store as well as any other schnucks is better than than Wastfall. Cleaner store with better variety of products and professional employees make this my go to grocery store.

Quarantine edition - this location opened a little over three years ago. It’s a smaller Schnucks, and a little harder to find what you’re looking for sometimes, but they have navigated the pandemic well. They have expanded their self checkout from 4 to about a dozen check out registers. The full service registers are usually well staffed and the lines are typically short. On any given day you’ll find that at least 90+% of customers and staff are wearing their masks appropriately (over the nose). It’s appreciated.

This Schnucks used to be Shop N Save for a VERY long time. Im talking for at least 20 years. So, its kind of odd going into this Schnucks and it being called Schnucks when there are very strong remnants of Shop N Save inside.But, having said this, this location is decent. It is simply good enough as far as buying groceries. Youll find most of what you want here as you would have when this Schnucks used to be Shop N Save. I dont have anything bad to say about this location. It serves its purpose as a grocery store.

Schnucks Maplewood is really quite terrible considering there is a Schnucks on Clayton Ave just down the street that is great. Do yourself a favor and drive 3 more minutes to that one, avoid the Maplewood one. The workers dont seem to take COVID nearly as seriously, the produce is terrible, the size/selection here is about 1/2 that of the Clayton Ave one. I really dont know why this one even exists.

The employees there were very friendly. They had plenty of checkouts open.

I went to deli and asked for an 8-pc fried chicken. I was told by “new employee” that he had to wait until his coworker got back. After waiting for over an hour, circling the counter, seeing colored individuals getting their fish orders cooked to order, I finally asked what the status of my order was. Then I was told the fryers were getting “cleaned” and I was sh!t out of luck. Well, they sure know to fry those fish orders for those other than me. Take action, Schnucks! This reverse bias is unforgivable.

Great selection of freshmade, ready to bake varieties, and with points rewards, double and digital coupons, and more savings within the app, I go there often for everyday items and take n bake when I dont feel like cooking. Also nice, theyll bake your purchased salmon for free while you wait.

Thought I was in Shop N Save. I miss those days. It was missing Hellmans Mayo, plain Seltzer water, and any Tortilla chips except Schnucks brand. Kind of iffy, but it was SuperBowl Sunday.

If anyone has any problems what you do is call schnucks corporate office and let them know any problems all you do is google schnucks corporate office than let them know of any problem they will not do anything unless you call the corporate office

Great customer service

This particular Schnucks doesnt have as many options as other Schnucks stores but the fact that its never busy is worth it to me. The other stores are nicer but are always packed and during this pandemic its nice to not have to be scrunched in small space with a lot of other people risking being exposed to covid germs.

Awesome grocery store. They have put measures in place to protect everyone- washing the carts, plastic screens in front of the check outs and many more. They have a great selection and ate reasonably priced.

Insufficient number of cashiers for a Sunday morning.

Ive been a Schnucks shopper for years and I moved to the area so this is where I went for my groceries. A specific cashier I have encountered is very rude and disrespectful to me, and I cant help but think its because Im visibly a gender minority because Ive done nothing to her. I submitted a complaint but received no response. Im no longer a loyal customer if they are okay with their employees treating marginal groups poorly. Ill just shop at Walmart. Their checkers dont discriminate.

This location does NOT have as big of a selection as just slightly larger Schnucks, such as the Brentwood locations. It was nearly all Self-checkout & the staff are NOT the friendliest.

I actually love Schnucks, but they are consciously not enforcing the Covid-19 mask mandate, Order No. 11, for the city and the county. Asked two employees why some customers and occasionally an employee werent wearing masks and the employees both said, Corporate told us we dont have to enforce it. Dierbergs it is, from now on.

I dont know why these store manager put out dated meat in their meat cases and the clerks cant count they dont look at the price on the shelves if its marked down they dont even apologize for ringing up your groceries wrong its not just this store but all over you better check your recites whenever you go shopping and you spend over 50 to 300 bucks sometimes they ring your items up 2 times and youre not paying attention they take the extra money out their cash register at the end of their shift. Check before you leave the counter ppl.

Always a busy location but the employees are nice, the store is generally well stocked and has a good range of product selections. Best times to shop when possible is during the day, Monday thru Friday.

Great quality at good prices. Schnucks has a reputation for being well kempt and having outstanding staff, and this location does not disappoint! The isles are always clean, and the food is always shelved neatly and fresh. One thing I may say, is that the prices at this particular location have not gone up much since the change of hands from Shop N Save, which cannot be said for every location. It still feels like the friendly neighborhood market, and anyone would love shopping here!

They don’t accept returns on anything... and that will be ok if they are fair and dint sell bad fruits... definitely not happy about it

Huge beer, wine, and liquor selection with great sales. Excellent doughnuts. This location has a great selection of everything in a good location. Self check out is easy to use and the machines take Apple Pay. Clean bathrooms. I wish this location had a place to get fresh coffee.

Welcome to Maplewood! This location opened with great fanfare. But even after the grand opening hoopla is over, the service and atmosphere continue to be amazing. Lots and lots of 10 for $10 specials and I have saved a ton of money with the Schnucks Rewards app.

Stopped to do some shopping. Its close to home & since they took over shop n save, thats where I shop now. Its just like every other grocery store. But their prices are a bit higher than shop n saves were.They have a lot of lanes for check out, but it seems like you always have to wait in line. I dont like the self check out lines, those are putting a person put of a job, the way I see it. So, I dont use them. Why should I do their job? The store was clean and the cashier was friendly enough. They have a deli, pharmacy, bakery & sea food department. Its a nice store. Im just not real happy with the higher prices. Id rather have shop n save back. Its getting where you cant afford to eat any more 😢.

I visited this store 3 times over 3 weeks, because the store was newly-opened & deserved a chance to improve. Unfortunately, it only worsened over time. The fresh meat, baked goods, and produce were expired and far from fresh. The avocados were black and squishy. Packaged sweet peppers were soft, moldy, and beyond their sell-by dates.As for fresh meat, old brown & expired beef was mixed in with fresh red packs. By my third visit, expired dairy products were mixed in with fresh.Again, I gave this store 3 chances, because it had only recently been acquired by Schnucks. But the freshness and quality only worsened over a 3-week period.

First class grocery store. So much nicer than the one I shop in at South County. Great produce which is displayed beautifully. Wish all the Schnuck stores looked this great

A decent Schnucks store, however the bathroom is disgusting. If I took a black light to it I would probably not like what I see.Seriously guys, the condition of a bathroom says a lot about what the other departments may look like, behind the scenes.I know you recently converted from a shop and save, however there is no reason to have a dirty bathroom.The Schnucks family brand is better than that.

Never have enough lanes open except the self check out and when you have an entire cart of food, dealing with the constant stop and start you experience with bagging and scanning is beyond frustrating. Waiting and getting attitude because you need multiple overrides is even more of pain. Food costs more than ever and stores need to pay for more staff checking out for the customers convenience. If not, save the attitude when customers cant fit all of our items on the scale until the very end.
