They are competitive within a month of Amazon, so keep shopping after you buy for sales.I have returned a laptop and a SSD M2 to Amazon because of Best Buy sales.I like the transformation of the stores to mini warehouses. A good mix of retail and on line.
I went to return a microwave oven I bought online a few months ago. The staff members I dealt with were very friendly, courteous and helpful. They returned my money in the form of a Best Buy gift card, which was not optimal. I bought an inferior microwave oven for the same price, as I had bought the previous one on sale, so another point against them. Having said that, the process was easy and seamless. The store is well stocked and if you need help they have signs across the store that you can scan with your phone and get into a queue which will bring a staff member to you. Overall, shopping here is a very good experience if you prefer to buy in-store, but Amazon has a much better return process.

I had a choice today. Purchase from Amazon or shop local. Same product, same price. OK, I’ll shop local.You would think that these big box stores would go out of their way to make the customer feel welcome, knowing that they have such competition from the Internet. I stood near an employee to ask him a question about finding the product I was looking for. Another customer approached him as well and was told “you’ll need to register over there“. He then looked at me and said “You too sir“.Customer service? yeah– right. I’d rather find it myself this time, which I did, but I guarantee you that I will not walk in this store again. There’s nothing in this store that I can’t get online for the same price or less and I won’t have to deal with employees like that.Truly one of the saddest customer service experiences I have had in a while.I sincerely hope management reads this and learns – but I doubt they will.

From the Covid questions at the front door. To nobody helping you once you’re in the store. This place is a disaster. I have spoke with management about a couple of my interactions and they seem to go unnoticed and unaddressed. From purchasing new equipment that ends up being re-packaged used equipment. To a TV I bought brand new that had a cracked screen and old software. The African-American lady Manager in customer service is very difficult to deal with. To say it politely. She is definitely hood. She assumes you’re lying to her before you even finish your sentence. She assumes you’re there to take advantage of her before she even knows you or your concerns with her company and the product you bought. The store is often dirty like her attitude. The people that work there are crabby. I will not visit the store again.

Drove an hour to get remote start installed, they told me when I got there and not before that I needed a master key. Drove home to get it and later found out the one I brought there was the master and hr assumed i needed a different one than the one I had, rather than looking at it. Speng another hour on the phone with Best Buy, still not resolved. Beware many remote starts their website says are compatible with hour car are not. He also said he needed 2kdys to install which i later found out isnt true after talking to another Best Buy
The store is clean and employees are nice. The young man that helped me on Friday was very nice (did not get his name). Unfortunately they were out of the merchandise that I was in need of. Thanks for your professionalism. I will be back in the future!
I was greeted at the front door, explained to the gentleman what I was looking for and he directed me back to the Laptop Section, and called for someone to assist me. I explained to the assistant of what I was looking for, and he found it for me right away. I told him that was the one I wanted, he went and got it for me and went to the register to finalize the transaction. I was out of the store within 15 minutes of entering. Great service by both of the gentlemen who assisted me.
I paid bought two gift cards for $500 apiece for a total of $1000. Best Buy did not activate one of the cards. It would not work. We had the receipts and they would not give credit or return money. They said to call in and they would send one in 10-14 days. It never arrived. They have not given me my $500 back. I have called several times and they do not refund my money or give me a new card.
The employee Wouldnt redeem my gift card i had for best buy what so ever, he didnt even try to scan the barcode for the gift card. He stated the giftcard is non redeemable there at best buy. So i had to go out to my car and order online pickup, i ordered the item i wanted and put the giftcard information in and completed the order. Was able to go inside 5 minutes later and pick up my item. The employee could of atleast attempted to scam the card for me.... Very disappointed.

I purchased an AM/FM/CD player to be installed by the Geek Squad in my older model vehicle.This was the first time Id been to this particular Best Buy in Margate, FL, but based on my interaction with Kevin P. in their auto installation department, Ill definitely return again when I need anything properly installed in my car on the first go.The entire process was fast, efficient, and stress-free. Kevin was friendly, professional, and highly knowledgable, ensuring all features on the unit worked perfectly. I couldnt ask for a better experience. Highly recommended.

I went to this store in Margate and was greeted at the entrance where you are supposed to register. I was told someone would help me, but never happened, so I went to look for the tablet on my own. I found a sales associate who was not very interested in taking care of people but after a while, he helped me. Unfortunately, there were no tablets on display (not the one I needed), so something that could have taken me 5 minutes, took more than half an hour, and almost beggin for help!
I purchased a set of washer and dryer open box there was so many hard to remove stickers on them, other than that it was fine
Very pessimistic sales people at the Geek Squad. Make many assertions that they could not backup. Also slightly late to my 2:20 appointment.They evidently have to send all electronics out to be fixed With a 4 to 6 week waiting period.Plan to pay $35 for them to even look at it Let alone fix it.
Not everyone can go to the store during the day. People work! That is why you call the store, to ask a question and get the right answer. This is the WORST place. When you call NO ONE ANSWERS the phone EVER. I think they dont care. Look how they control the hours of the store. They have cut the hours so they force you to go and get what you need. its BS! Someone should open an electronic store so we have a choice to get good customer service. You go to the store and it looks like the employees are busy NOT! Avoiding helping you. TERRIBLE!

Why is it so hard to do business with Best Buy. You order ahead and they cant find the pick up order- or you show up and cant find someone to retrieve the laptop from the locked case. Just spent 10 minutes and walked out. Placing my Amazon order from the parking lot for my new laptop.

Horrible experience at this best buy location. I ordered a new computer online which usually takes an hour for it to be ready but it almost took 2 hours. I walked into the store to see if I can just pick it up. They said its impossible because its still not in the system. There system is broken. It is not like other locations that I have been. They said to cancel the order and get it from a sales person. Now I was on a waitlist just to purchase a computer I had already bought. The store did not look busy whatsoever, as I waited inside. Disorganized and non-efficient. I will never order from this location.

The corporate office told me that this location does take tv for recycling but no where on their website or talking to them did they mention they charge $30. Sounds like a scam. You can bring it to your town recycling center for free. Total waste of time.
Went there looking for a record player, they had one, unfortunately not the one we were looking for. My brother wanted a more old fashioned looking type.
Computer stopped working and I’ve had trust issues with other companies that fix computers... bought the geek squad membership and they fixed it. They kept their word! Worth the 200 dollars a year. I’m not a “ Karen “ I don’t usually put my energy into making complaints but this needs to be addressed. Rashun is the Geek Squad supervisor however when I got my laptop back with the speakers blown out he took no accountability or sympathized with me in any way whatsoever. Didn’t seem to understand or care that I broke down in tears. Rashun didn’t assist in anyway other than continue to read the diagnostic report to me repeatedly. Couldn’t even have a real conversation other than tell me what the diagnostis was on my laptop. Hinsen apparently worked on my laptop and the supervisor did absolutely nothing to make things right. I’m telling you I called the corporate number and will be getting this fixed because I also never signed off the receipt that I was satisfied with the speakers work done. Y’all need to do better.

So I went in here and they got some precautions going on for covid-19, I had to buy a 8 GB Ram chip for my computer. This guy that works there, young kid, went out of his way to help me quickly and answer any questions that I had.
