Wish I had better things to say since I was hoping to form a relationship with a good bike shop near my new hometown but I don’t. Staff was inattentive and mostly just ignored us. Needed a lot of stuff for a new bike build and I wanted to support a local business but it felt nobody cared more than me.Guests should be greeted and the store should feel comfy and inviting but it was just awkward. Had to try to strike up a conversation with staff to get any attention so it felt like I was pulling teeth. Ignored by the other two in the back.Maybe because we had just returned from a ride and were dressed down they thought we didn’t have money or something. We did and were ready to spend but I guess we’ll have to stick with online vendors. Would like to see attentive staff with drive to help but sitting and cellphones seemed more important.One bad experience can fracture a relationship with a customer as it did for us. Felt no need to buy anything from people who don’t care. Won’t return although it is the closest shop nearby. If I want to be ignored, I’ll continue shopping for parts online.

Bike shops are either really good, or really bad. I’ve got some really bad ones nearby. I drove 5 hours round-trip to buy a bike from this shop that I never heard of. They assembled two bikes for me to try (the same bike in 2 different sizes) and let me know when they were ready for me.I arrived and they gave me plenty of time to ride both, back to back, and never rushed me. They were patient, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They took way more time with me than I ever expected, and made me feel extremely comfortable with my decision.I can’t emphasize this enough. I’ve been to many bike shops and had some bad experiences. This shop was stellar. I have complete faith that this bike was expertly assembled. I’d drive another 5 hours to deal with them again.

I drove 100 miles to get here and 2 of my local bike shops to get here and I would do it again! It was a wonderful experience I was taking care of so well and thats hard because I k ow exactly what I wanted and wanted everything perfect. This place really delivered and exceeded my expectations! So glad I made the drive! Thanks!

Outstanding customer service, I rented a bike for the day, set and out the door in less then 30 minutes. Staff very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Test rode several bikes.One of the best bike shops i have ever been in. Good people. Highly recommended.

Awesome shop with a large selection of kayaks. Friendly staff with answers to all of our questions about kayaks. Couldnt ask for a better shopping experience and we will definetly be going back.

This was my 2nd experience with their kayak excursions. They are just simply wonderful. So helpful with advice for a novice like me. Im planning to go on several more this summer. I have a new hobby in my old age!

They have an unbelievable selection of biking and paddling equipment. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem very personable in making sure you make the best decision when purchasing a product to suit your needs, I really appreciate that!

Cannot say enough good things about them. Helped us get two kayaks secured to the top of my 2dr Jeep that we rented from them to take fishing.Will be purchasing from them once we get around to the first of the month!

I had broken my front derailleur while on vacation riding my road bike in the area . Holly and staff were very helpful finding a source to get a new one quickly, next day so I could do a planned ride with Friends in North Carolina on Saturday. Awesome customer service !!!

They were very helpful and easy to work with. I purchased a bike and went for a short ride to find out I wanted one with an extra feature. They allowed me to return the first bike and purchase the new one at no extra charge. Great service too.

After a great deal of research I decided to purchase my first kayak. The employees at the shop were very helpful and let me ask all the questions I wanted. Big box store kayaks might be less expensive but you wont find the level of service you will here not to mention the quality of the merchandise is nowhere near what Marietta Adventure Company sells. Lastly, supporting a local business is always a plus.

Its great to have such a nice store downtown. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I have stopped in. Even when I am trying to find oddball parts for a vintage bike, they have gone out of their way to try to help me out. I took them my 1992 Trek mountain bike to be serviced. The first service in over 25 years! It came back to me like a new bike and cost me much less than I had expected. They had my bike for over a week, but its a busy shop and service dept, so I didnt expect it overnight. Would definitely let them work on my bike again.

Not thrilled with the service we have received there. My husband has been there several times. Went in last week for a broken spoke repair that should have been a 30 minute fix and they still have his wheel six days later.
