Eddie’s bike fit was solid.Was a little apprehensive about the adjustments but Eddie took a great deal of care taking measurements and setting the bike up. He goes into detail around the physical mechanics of what he is accomplishing.A small adjustment to my pedal stroke which required a little focus on my part the first ride.I went in with some issues around virtually every contact point. After decades of riding I just figured I needed to live with it.First ride numb hands. Gone. Neck pain. Gone. Hot spots on feet gone.Riding position now allows higher cadence and seems to be more efficient and this less fatigue.Thanks Eddie. Free Flite is an awesome place to do business and get gear but having a quality fitter just makes it the best place for anything bike related. Critical element is Eddie takes time to explain “why” the changes are being made and how the body will react to it.

These guys are great. First time to the Canton rd store which is much bigger. Had a new fork installed. Misplaced some decals, so these guys went dumpster diving for me, and then offered to call the manufacturer to get me some. I declined but they called me on the drive home and had checked anyway. Really kind of them, and the manufacturer was willing to send me some. You dont get that kind of service anymore...but you do here. Reasonable prices as well for services. They have my business. Highly recommended! 5* Well done!

I brought my Trek bike to this bicycle shop after it had been sitting around for many years without being used. I needed new tires and adjustments made to both my gears and brakes. The person that helped me was very knowledgeable about the issues I was having and fixed my bike while I waited. I definitely recommend this shop if you need bicycle repair work done.

I have an older bike that hadnt been ridden in a while. I just wanted to get it a once-over to make sure it was good to go. I expected to leave it and have to wait a few days. The service dept looked at the back immediately, made a few adjustments, and got me out of there in less than 20 minutes. Awesome!

Have had nothing but pleasant experiences with this bike shop. I bought my first bike here, a Santa Cruz Tallboy, and I have loved it. Ramon assisted me with the purchase and was very knowledgeable and helpful. I even got to attend a demo day that they hosted where I tested the bike out and even got a discount coupon towards purchase. I have only had two issues with the bike in a year and a half, and both times the service department was prompt and thorough with helping me.

Great experience shopping and getting services from Free-Flite. I brought my wife’s older bike in with a broken chain and they repaired it quickly and easily. The team made some great recommendations as well for other things I could do to keep her bike running smoothly. I was looking for a bike for my son and would have loved to buy it here but it wasn’t in stock. Things are crazy with Covid now and the team explained that most bikes are back ordered these days. Either way, great service and we’ll be back.

As an avid Santa Cruz owner I wanted to stop by and see Santa Cruz’s new E bike. I take the bike out of the rack and it was if I did something wrong by looking at the bike. When someone’s there to shop for a bike of that kind of obviously executed their own due diligence in some way shape or form. Getting excited and doing some sort of name exchange is a great way to start out a transaction. They didn’t have the size that I wanted to sit on in stock so I asked to check one of their other stores however after I left just did not feel like making the trek to the other store just to be treated the same way. Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices.Found a broken spoke on my rear tire, so brought my bike in for a repair and seasonal tune up. The professional staff gave it a quick check, identified a few problems, and gave me an on-the-spot reason quote. Two days later, all the work was done and I was riding again before 11 am. The shop also carries a good selection of bikes and other gear.

Excited to own my first hardtail, I ordered and put a deposit down on a Trek Marlin 6. Ramon called me when it was ready (a day after he originally said, but I’ll let that one slide). I show up, and I see that there is a Marlin 5 with my name on it... My disappointment was palpable from all the anticipation of waiting for the past week. Ramon apologized and told me that the Marlin 6 will be in later this week or early next week. So, again I wait. I’m sure we will get squared away, but just a bit disappointed at the moment. Once I start shredding trails, I’m sure the feeing will soon pass.Otherwise, I like the shop and the staff at the place so far. I’m sure I will have much more to report once I visit more and get a bit deeper into mountain biking.Edit: I received my new bike in the time Ramon promised and everything is great now.

My husband, my 6 year old son, and I came in looking to purchase a good quality bike for each of us to ride on the Silver Comet and occasionally on some off-road trails. Weve been walking the trails for a while and decided it was time to get bikes so we could go farther and have more fun. Ramon got everyone in the family fitted to just the right bike and helmet. He even got on his own bike and showed my novice son how to get rolling on his new bike. Hes so excited to learn how to ride now. 😊 Theres a nice area right out in front of the store where you can try the bikes out, which is great for seeing if youre comfortable on it. We needed a way to get the bikes home in our pickup truck so we bought an over-the-tailgate bike pad and they installed it for us. Had a really good experience here for a quick check up on my older bike. They did not try to sell me unnecessary items and were very friendly. Once they get more bikes in stock, Ill definitely consider buying from them.

I purchased an electric bike and assembled it myself. Everything worked but it was very uncomfortable to ride. So, I setup a time with Ramon to have it tuned. He cheerfully and expertly spent 45 minutes with me fixing everything I had done wrong. Could not be more pleased with him or the results. Refused to charge me though, and instead sold me a pair of padded shorts for which my rear end is thankful.

There is no mask mandate in Georgia stop forcing you delusions on everyone else. Was going to spend a lot of money on bikes and gear for me and my family but since they refuse to accept there is no mask mandate I went elsewhere.

I purchased a bike from Dick’s sporting goods. They offer bike assembly and repairs. I had an issue with my bike and took it to them for a repair. They were not able to figure out the issue. So, I took the bike to Free Flite. I was more than pleased with their service. They had two lines form outside the store- one for sales, the other for repairs. Only 2-3 parties were allowed inside. It took the gentleman less then 30 minutes to complete my repair. When i called other shops, they told me it would take at least 2 weeks. But, this company was very kind and efficient. I expected to spend a lot of money for today’s service. But, the price was fair. I live 45+ minutes away from the shop. However, I will make the long drive for my future repairs.

I bought my new mountain bike at Free-Flite in Marietta yesterday. It was a top notch experience. I rode 5 different mountain bikes a couple of times each over the course of 3 hours. The staff was very knowledgeable, courteous and never seemed too busy to answer my questions or respond to the adjustments on the bikes I was testing. I will add that I understand that one customer cannot take up 3 hours from an individual staff member and I was patient when other customers came in and needed to be waited on. Overall, a great buying experience with multiple brands to choose from. I highly recommend this store, Ramon and the rest of the staff at Free-Flite!

First time customer. Brought in 2 bikes(Mine and my wifes) on Sunday that had been purchased used on Craigslist. We were greeted in the parking lot by an employee who helped us remove our bikes from our bike rack. As we entered the building and were greeted. Zack took our bikes and gave them both a good look over on his bike rack. We had expected to leave them and pick up later. $15 to adjust and repair front brakes on one bike the other was good to go.Another gentlemen saw that I had adjusted my handlebars so not to have to lean over as much. He made a couple of suggestions on what could be done to correct and to make safer. He then made some adjusts himself at no charge which not only made my riding better but also safer.Coming from 41 years in retail, 25 of those as a district manager of a retail drug store chain I was blown away with the kind, friendly, attentive, and most importantly caring service we received. I bought my first mtb from Freeflight back in 1993, a Diamondback Outlook. Over the years as my riding progressed I got into different styles of riding. BMX, dirt jumpers and road bikes, even a hybrid if I remember correctly. Freeflight was always there with the bike and equipment I needed. The staff has always been knowledgeable and friendly and showed a true passion for what they are doing. They love bicycling and it shows. The mechanics have always been the best around. Theyll get you back in the saddle fast and it will be fixed right. They also give plenty of free advice whether its about setting up your new bike or buying parts for your old bike. Cant recommend the mechanics enough, you wont be disappointed. I recently moved out of state and it was time to upgrade to a new bike. What did I do? I called Freeflight, talked to Ramon and jumped in the car for a roadtrip. Now I know what your thinking buy local you say. Well at first I tried. The local Santa Cruz dealer tried to talk me into another bike brand I wasnt even interested in because he had some models on the sales floor. Then he just stopped returning phone calls. I knew then I shouldnt have strayed from my norm. I made the call to Freeflight, talked to Ramon and my carbon Hightower is in my garage waiting for the next rip down the trails! Ramon was great! We waited about 10 minutes for someone to help us, but it was worth the wait. Ramon let my 10 y.o. son test out a couple of bikes for size, and then helped us choose the right bike for him. Highly recommend!I went back and bought myself a bike. I was going to buy the same model as I bought for my son, but ended up getting the next model up (Marlin 6).Update: I broke my rear derailleur and brought it back to be fixed. Upgraded to a better one, and it works MUCH better. They did a great job fixing my bike, and adjusting my sons (free adjustment).Free advice: buy as much bike as you can afford, because cheaper components WILL break easier and youll end up upgrading. Better to get the best you can from the get go, imho.

Drove to the store and was told that they were out of stock and could not order.I called the manufacturer and ordered the bike shipped directly to me. I asked about quantity available. Their response was “tons of them”.

I was in the market for an entry-level mountain bike. They were able to answer all of my questions. They made sure that I was taken care of but they were not too pushy. They did not try to get me to buy a bike that was above my price range, but they did help me find a bike for the best value inside my price range. I would definitely buy another bike from them.

Great staff. Very helpful.when I went in for some routine repair work. However when I had to take my sons 450.00 BMX racing bike in that I bought from them in May 2020, I was dumbfounded and very disappointed in the Marietta location. I was never called back and had to keep calling only to find out we have never done a warranty before they could provide NO HELP OR ANSWERS and were clearly not on the side of the customer. Their warranty system is a joke. They use a third party middle man so when I was told the reason for the defective crank not being covered I had no recourse to appeal or work something out. They just looked at me with Im sorry . The manager was no help either...never called back. Will not buy a bike from them again

I went to the store for the first time to have my sons bike chain fixed and get a helmet. Everyone was really helpful and encouraging to my son about getting more into bike riding. They even showed us some used bikes that could save us money. Highly recommend.
