After reading some of the reviews I was a little concerned my visit with my three boys wouldn’t go well. Everything went great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I meet the owner Ross and he took his time with us. My boys asked a lot of questions and wanted to look at different cards inside the counter. Ross and his staff had no problem accommodating their request. The store was very well organized and that was greatly appreciated. Most of the shops we visit are not even close in comparison.I’ve been collecting and dealing cards for over thirty years so, I asked prices on some of the higher end cards/boxes. I found that their prices are at current market values. My boys found some great deals on the other cards. We had a great time and will now be making this shop a regular place to visit for us!Thanks Ross and team for making this a great experience for me and my boys! You all brought back some great memories and helped to add another generation to the hobby.

Great selection of all sports cards. Plenty of Braves players and fair market prices for cards.

This place might be okay if you’re buying, but if you’re selling don’t go here... barely said anything to me, it was as if he was upset I was there. Not personable at all.

This is truly the best hobby shop in Marietta. They actually have hobby boxes for the sport you desire and are knowledgeable on sports. The other 7 day a week shop in Marietta is nothing more than triple the price Walmart resale and, is what has the entire hobby completely messed up. The atmosphere at Champion is amazing, once you get use to everyones personality. You could not ask for a better place to go for your hobby needs.

This is one of the best places for sports cards in the Atlanta area. Ross (owner) is incredibly knowledgeable about the market - an excellent resource for what is out there. He boasts a great selection of single cards (raw and graded).Kudos to Joe as well for his customer service.Great group of guys there!

Champions is always a pleasurable experience. The sports card shop is well organized with several levels of product in all sports. All singles are meticulously sorted as well and fun to go through with a want list. And all the guys there are very helpful and celebrate any nice pulls from pack. Thanks!

Best store for cards I’ve been to in the Atlanta area for two big reasons1) SUPER well organized. And plenty of space2) stuff for all price ranges and affordable hitsIf you’ve got kids who want to get into sports cards, I’d highly recommend taking them here because they sell cards at affordable prices and can be a great place to build up a collection.

Excellent shop. Great selection, knowledge and service. The new location is much more convenient to get to.People 1-staring them because they wont go through their thousands of cards and tell them what they are worth for free kills me. Its not their job to provide free appraisals.And surprise! They are a business, not a collector. They cant pay you book value for your card since they have to be able resell the card to someone else.Its a great shop.

Attempted to sell my cards. The gentleman working their had no idea the actual value of my cards. Didnt even bother to look through them and didnt give me a single offer. Had many very sought after cards in near mint condition. Very unprofessional.

Ive been to many retail stores and also many local card shops shopping for sports cards. I really like this one. Large variation of sports cards and memorabilia, they sell vintage and modern cards, and they have a large stock of graded cards. I hope to go back soon.

We have been in several times and Ross (owner) is both knowledgeable and helpful. Whatever you need he has and he is always available for discussions of value and are welcomed.

As far as buying this store is great. But if your trying to sell this is not the place to go. Doesn’t seem to know the value of stuff or just doesn’t care.

This place is hit or miss with their attitudes. i got ripped off here but its my fault for not do in g my research. but after going to other places around the same area i heard a lot of bad things that were very similar to my experience. if your in the area skip this place and go to bp sports. there are several dealers in one location. much more enthusiastic and helpful and honest

Champion has a large variety of sports cards and they are well organized. I appreciated the staff being straight forward about card values.

People that work here know their cards. Wide collection of cards and sport memorabilia. I pulled my first big autograph out of this place and i thank Champion Sportcards for that.

Good selection, they had a pretty good idea of what was going on. I didnt like that they gave me a price on a rookie frank thomas leaf then bumped up from 20 to 35$ when they see the price. They have some nice old cards and were willing to work with me on them. If they would have bumped 20$ off the last card I tried to buy I would have been 100% thrilled with the day. The seller was patient and I asked him to price over a 100 cards, i def recommend their grading service. He handled all the cards well. They gave me a couple of good deals, they are running a business so I get it. Nice shop though! Enjoyed the experience

The employees were very respectful and attentive to our desires. The shop was very clean, organized and had a lot to offer from vintage to modern. They were knowledgeable on uptodate information.

I went in looking for a particular pack of baseball cards for me nephew, but they didnt have it so Ross put together a similar deck for me out of individual cards. Thanks to him I was able to get my nephew the gift he wanted! Great store and Ill be back if I need any sports stuff in the future.

Didnt even get to the store. I called and told the owner I had a bunch of michael jordan cards. old ones and asked if they look at them. he said no. they dont do that there.

I visited with Ross a couple of times and find his store to be clean and with a large selection of sports cards, memorabilia and just plain fan gear. I sold some cards to Ross, he gave me a fair price and I find him to be very professional and up front. I will continue to do business with Champion because of their integrity.

Awesome place with knowledgeable staff. Prices are within reason and nothing you get online will ever beat the experience of walking into a card store and actually touching and seeing what you are buying. To me its really not about how much and more about the 1 on 1 you get at a traditional card store like this one. I highly recommend champion sport cards collectibles.

The owner is a complete jerk, he had one of the worst attitudes of anyone I have ever met. I went to get educated and an appraisal on two baseball memorabilia items (a Chipper Jones signed picture and a signed baseball). I told him I was not an expert, but I was looking to be educated on the items I brought in. While busily doing other things to distract himself from actually helping me (keep in mind I was the only one in the entire store), I was told that he WOULD NOT help educate me, and that I needed to come in having already been educated. Seems to me that most people who are in the business of buying and selling things usually provide price quotes and at the very least will help educate someone who wants to learn more about their possesions. Stay away from this place, hopefully this lowlife goes out of business

Owner is nice. Selection is comparable to other shops Ive seen over the years (most of which are out of business). As others noted, prices are higher than online, which is true of virtually any product. Great place for boxes and other supplies that require a bulk order online.

My 1st trip back to a sports cards shop in roughly 23 yrs and it was awesome! Walked in like my former 12 yr old self, anxious to snag some packs. Owner greeted me, asked me what I needed and showed me exactly where to go. Told him I hope I dont find everything I need so I have to come back, he laughed and said well then we hope to see you again soon. Heading back in the AM since I hit a Baker Mayfield relic card, gotta keep the hit train rollin!

Very polite and willing to help look for what you want, they even send off your cards to BGS to be graded so you dont have to worry about the paperwork. this store is an hour away from me ( the closest around) but I still prefer the drive than online auctions. you just cant beat the feeling of actually going through the cards, never knowing what you will find.

My Brother and I have been going here for over 18 years! Love it! Always a pleasure doing business. Hard to find a excellent family owned sports cards hobby shop now a days. With internet, EBay, and other big money online direct dealers I am extremely happy to have Champion Sportscards in North Georgia! Keep it up! A+++

The best shop in the south much less Atlanta...I see some reviews that bring up the shops higher prices than online stores; that is because it is a retail environment and one in which every case and box and pack of cards has not been gone through previously!!!....most online stores, and even retail stores, get the best card hits by using a scale or x-ray device and weighing cases, boxes, & even packs, to single out which of them have the best cards inside...with higher end product brands they have countered that ability to commit this kind of long standing fraud...although with 60-70% of card products the technique mentioned above can still used.....Champion Sports Cards MOST CERTAINLY do NOT as I have pulled more 1/1 printing plates/White Whales/buybacks & other amazing cards from their store than from any other retailer, online store, and even with cherry picked product review boxes sent by manufacturers like Topps & Panini. I have been going to the store since 2007 and have never had a problem....and if the $ is still a problem for you then take cash as that will reduce the tax costs and save ya more money. But there is overhead operational costs associated with retail locations as well as the fact that the owner has stayed legit and true to the hobby by not ruining it like most online retailers do by going through your products before they ship it out for free and $50 less....gee I wonder why they do that? lololol.....Go to this store it is great!!!! - U-Porium Solutions, Inc.

My younger brother and i went into the store last month. When we walked in we recieved no greeting.. he just kept watching the t.v. My brother asked to see the box of jersey cards ($5-$15) range as my brother browsed thru that box the owner carefully watched to make sure he did not take any cards.. i asked to see the autographed box set.. he said i can only give out 1 box for you guys to look at, at one time.. he would not let us each sift thru a box. He had no trust in customers whatsoever we sat there for 20 minutes an then left without purchasing a thing.

Went in just to have an appraisal on a few cards all i asked if they were worth anything. One i brought in i know is worth at least 60.. i didnt ask if they wanted it.. I wanted to see if they were honest and polite to customers... I was actuall looking for another Willie Mays bb card to purchase to go with my collection.. I buy from stores that take the time just to look at any card and be honest.. Guess they lost out not that they care.. But dont judge somebody the way they look that day..You never know if someone is going to buy.. I buy from honest people and sell to hinest people.. this is not them..SNOBS

Good variety of cards for any collector

I have been buying from Ross (the owner) for near 6 years now at his current location and his last location. I couldnt ask for a more friendly experience each and every time. He knows collecting and he cares about his business. I will always give him my business, both as a local and as a fan of his shop.
