Its a fun concepts. They are nice enough. I was picking up something for my kids and saw this and thought it was great. My kids love baby Yoda.
Great service from the girl very polite will come again
The team at East Cobb location are always friendly and helpful.
Love this place. It always seems like the people behind the counter know there shtuff. If I need some geeky stuff for my kids this is my go to place. Glad they didnt close down this store
Would get 5 stars if they could ever stock modern consoles.
Wonderful and helpful staff! Shout out to Benjamin and Ginger!! I came in on a crazy day and they were wonderful!
Excellent customer service!!! Ginger is a rockstar. She was able to answer all my questions, help me find the perfect game, juggle phone calls, and deal with some very rude people with absolute grace. She never once got flustered or missed a beat. This location will be my new go-to whenever Im in the area. Game Stop needs a Ginger in every store!
There online is not that great to buy bundle
(STORY PART 1/2) BEWARE ALL SHOPPERS: AVOID THE HEADACHE AND YOUR WORST GAMESTOP EXPERIENCE. I know this is long but trust me when I say it is worth the read, the story is somewhat entertaining. Most of the workers at this store are an absolute joy to work with. They are extremely kind and always attempt to field any questions you have to the best of their ability. Key word here is MOST, with the exception being an individual named Ginger. I have had a few interactions, and have never met a more rude and unhelpful store worker in my life, her experiences with me have made me weary of even entering the store again. My name is Aiden, and this is my story. Around 3 months ago I drove up to the location in hopes to purchase “The Last of Us”, a game I had been anticipating to play for years but had just now been getting around to it. When attempting to complete my transaction I was denied due to that fact that I was 16, and while I was about to turn 17 within the week the M rating on the game prevented me from being able to finish the sale. Annoyed but understanding that Ginger was just doing her job (or so I thought) I returned home to fetch my brother who was old enough to purchase the game for me. On our drive back to the small store I called up in hope to ease the transaction, letting Ginger know I was coming back up to bring my brother with me. Clearly annoyed, she turned me down attempting to explain that only a parent or legal guardian could get me the game and although my brother, a *legal adult*, would carry out the entire transaction on his own she would not take us in. This was honestly the first time I had been explicitly denied a sale and the situation proved to be very unusual. Now determined by being rejected, me and my brother proposed a plan in which we would park away from the store and he would pretend to be a new customer wanting to also pick up the game. While I typically do not condone lying in any case, Ginger’s outspoken aggression left us with few other options. Upon calling and explaining how my brother was a kid also wanting the game, Ginger angrily responded to his request with a “Are you the brother of this kid trying to buy the Last of Us? I have his number SAVED and am looking now to see if you are connected. I will NOT sell him the game”. Blown away by her response I could not believe what I was hearing, although I was honored to be the cause of so much attention. Denying any attachment to me my brother carried on with the call, Ginger had put us on hold saying “she needed to check something”, clearly looking to see if she could spot me by the sound of her shuffling and hearing the opening of a door. We were glad to have thought of parking away, it seemed as if she was so intent on following GameStop’s #1 of always deny your customers everything. After around a minute my brother nicely spoke up to see what she was doing asking “are you still on the line”. Clearly frustrated she replied “I SAID GIVE ME A MOMENT” as me and my brother sat there in disbelief. Showing tones of defeat she tiredly said “meet me at the front of the store” to which my brother exited the car to claim our prize. I had a blast playing the game, 10/10 would recommend. While the experience was something to remember I refrained from writing this as I understood that she potentially was having a bad day or was dealing with something greater than we could see. HOWEVER….
I walk in last Friday and I didn’t have a mask on one of the workers tell me I needed a mask to be in but she didn’t have one on never coming here again
Staff here is amazing! Store is kinda small, but the friendly team and selection more than makes up for it. Check for items only and have ready in store for pickup.
Great service! I got exactly what I needed, the clerk working there was very kind and helped me find a better pair of headphones than the ones I thought to get. Excellent, would recommend.
Doug is very helpful and Ginger was super nice. Store was very neat and organized. Both associates were very attentive and they were knowledgeable of the merchandise.
Knowledgeable staff. Reasonable prices. Even bought the 3$ protection plan on a new game; because damnit Id like to have brick and mortar stores in 5 years.
Good selection of used games. Smaller location so not as many collectibles. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Always super friendly and gives great suggestions if you dont know what you want to play. They are fun to talk to about any game!
Put name on list for ps5 pre order didn’t call any on list and just sold out in less than an hour. Horrible customer service. Why make a list if you’re not going to use it. Won’t be back ever
Brilliant staff....availability of all things video game, peripherals and more. I drive past other Gamestop’s to get this this one! Ginger is an awesome conscientious employee and takes integrity to a new height. Anyone stating otherwise likely has an agenda.
The cashier was very friendly and helpful. She answer all my questions.
Ginger /Team Leader was fantastic in helping my son get set up with his first game system- were all new to this - she took a lot of time and saved us money and directed us to games good for a 7 year old. 5 stars
Helpful folks. Good selection. Good value for money.
Besides prices and especially trade-in prices, I usually get my games through here. 5 stars if the company stops being cheap with their trade-in values.
Very nice and knowledgeable folks. Not too pushy as is typical with most gamestops.
This is now my favorite GameStop. Nice staff, good prices, never know what you might get
By far the best GameStop Ive been to. The employees couldnt have been nicer. Definitely worth going to.
We shop here for new and used games. Friendly and helpful folks taking care of the daily operations.
These guys are always helpful and knowledgeable.I bought a used Wii from them that quit working at least 2 months later. They swapped it out and I dont think they were obligated to.I was expecting the company policy speach.
This place stinks. Took my kids Wii U in a week ago...it all checked out, but the guy said I needed an HDMI cord. I went out and bought a cord. Today was my kids birthday so I went in to trade and get him a gift. The lady behind the counter took FOREVER. And finally said they couldnt take it. Really?! I was there a week ago and told I just needed the dang HDMI. So I wasted my time and was so disappointed I left without getting my kid a gift. I mean if you dont want it why make me wait so long. The dude a week ago took 15 minutes to tell me they didnt want the xbox 360 we also tried to trade. Disgusted.
Stellar customer service with a great sales pitch. I left with more than I intended which was a fantastic feeling.
Horrible service, every time I go there I have to deal with attitudes. Always try to sell me more than what I came for and could really care less to help you. They give me an attitude even though I always treat them nicely. I drive way out of my way just to go to the other Gamestop across town just so I dont have to deal with the people working at this one.
Good selection, great service with extensive knowledge on all the latest games. The employees have either played or witnessed firsthand a majority of the games there and can advise you accordingly or just make your reservations.
Staff is nice and helpful. Best games store in East Cobb 👍
I got the best deal just happened to drop in during thier semi annual sale day! Whoo hoo!
This is probably the nicest GameStop Ive ever been in. The staff are extremely friendly and they have a really good selection of items.
I have been going to Gamestop for many years and I do love the variety. I enjoy being able to pre-order and have partial discounts and having good memories with some of my closest friends at Gamestop. The service is generally excellent, the game variety and deals are in good taste.
Attentive sales staff
Great customer service, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
This is, hands down, the best gamestop in metro Atlanta. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable, help you with what you want, and dont over do it.
Great pricing, very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very good service.
Great service, didnt try to hassle me or sell items I wasnt requesting.
