So, I have to rave about this specific location. I walk in not knowing what to ask for and I am approached by 3 beautiful ladies that asked me if I needed help with anything. I said three things...I need a primer, a foundation and concealer bc I am on camera and every skin blemish I have is up front and center. LINEA, I hope I spelled her name right....she asked me questions I had not thought about and she was able to match me with the right cosmetics including a skin care regimen. She wrote out everything for me on how to apply the products and even drew it out for me. What an amazing EXPERIENCE! 5 stars across the board. I am feeling more confident on camera and I am even getting compliments on my skin. I have an all natural look and glow which was exactly what I asked for.
You’d be better off going to a different location. here, all the “make up artists” /floor girls just stand around talking to each other and don’t help at all. I asked them for help and they were just talking on the mic identifying me but no one ever came to help. I was ready to drop money for new products. went to a different location and ACTUALLY got help. this was the fifth time it’s happened to me in 3 months, waste of a location space for the Avenues
I drove an hour to shop at this location so I wouldn’t have to go into a mall. Totally worth it and would do it again. The staff is very friendly
Youll never be sure what are the real store hours. A week ago I was told they are open till 9pm on week days and now theyre closed at 7pm. Plus no store hours displayed anywhere in the window... Dont like wasting my time due to somebodys lack of professionalism and responsibility.
Google says you’re open until 7pm. I call and you say you’re open until 9pm, you’re website is saying you’re open until 7pm at this location! I drove more than 30min and when I arrive your store is CLOSED! With a paper note saying you’re open until 6pm!! So you decide to make your own hours?? This is not right! Time is money, gas spent! You do not pick up any calls I made, and now this! Can’t believe..

We’ve been in the midst of a pandemic for 6 months and the gate keeper forces their policy on you as if it’s something that hasn’t already been pounded into our eyeballs since March. We were refused entry to this store because my 8 year old child’s medical condition keeps her from being able to wear a mask (As requested by her pulmonologist).
I was very disappointed with the support they gave me.... THEY ARE THEIR TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS .WILL NOT SHOP IN THIS PLACE AGAIN.
I was out of something that I couldnt find online. The staff is being very conscious regarding contamination in every way. I was quickly helped outside of the store and on my way home
Today I came in to purchase a NARS concealer, and the blonde lady at the entrance door attacked me with the pandemic policy even after telling her I was at Sephora last week. I get she is trying to be safe. She came across super aggressive and accusatory. Talk about having a bad shopping experience...🙄
Elated...this wonderful employee just picked up the perfect foundation. I visited the mall and switched from Benefit Oxygen Wow! to Urban Decay Naked and was super disappointed Benefit discontinued foundation I’d used over 8 years. Urban Decay Naked was not what I was looking for personally, but went with the male associates recommendation. I began to lose hope and decided to give a second Sephora a shot at finding a new foundation. This angel really listened to my concerns and made an effort to find the best alternative, Tarte Foundcealer. And I like it better than Benefit! For someone that’s a medical field/science nerd I know very little about makeup to be in my 30s. Assistance like this is greatly appreciated, this associate really cared enough to take the time to select the right product for needs...and it took her only moments! Thank you Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I love this location. The staff is always knowledgeable,kind and takes time to explain what and why a product with help with skin care needs. My daughter who has horrible cystic acne and scarring really appreciates Nicks help. He was very kind and attentive to her specific needs and concerns. Also very knowledgable. Were thankful for his guidance.
Came here to get a Milk foundation, was obviously in a hurry and the employee told me they had it at a close Sephora. She lied. They did not. Now I do not have what I came for and wasted time and gas. Thanks a lot.
Customer service was terrible. Sales person was more interested in flat ironing her hair than helping customers. All of the makeup evaluation meters were broken. Sales person applied makeup with her bare hands from one customer to another and never washed her hands.
First time going to Sephora and was very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store. Everyone was pleasant and was greeted upon entering the store. Terrie in Cosmetics was very helpful and recommended great products for me and Henry set up an account for me and checked me out in a courteous manner and exemplified great customer service. This will be my new go to store for my cosmetic needs.

These ladies just went above and beyond! As I was making a return I just happened to mention I was having a bad Monday but that whatever perfume they had just sprayed lifted my spirits. To my surprise the associate quickly made me a little sample and brought it over with a huge sweet grin and a “well take this with you so you can spray it when you need a little lift”...one of the other associates also made a similar gesture. I was touched beyond words by these lovely, thoughtful, young ladies. Not only were they professional and product savvy, but they went out of their way to show a level of customer care and kindness that is so rare these days. ❤️ You ladies rock!
I had the best customer experience at this Sephora location. This past weekend we were in town for a family event. My daughter purchased items on Friday at this store. The next day as we were getting dressed for our event my daughter realized her foundation was not packed with the rest of her makeup. We were all dressed and ready to go, with just a half hour left until the store closed we drove there, we got there 5 minutes before closing. The young lady there (I should have gotten her name) was kind enough to give samples of the makeup my daughter needed. I dont believe all Sephoras are created equal but this Marietta Ga location is the epitome of outstanding customer service.
This location is great if you’re not a mall person. But that’s about it. I’m giving it 3 stars because of that because the customer service experience was not decent. At all. Unlike other Sephora’s, there was no warmth here from the representatives, so I will be going out of my way to go to Perimeter (or even Cumberland) for my hauls from here on.
She did not match my skin correctly and was very stingy with the samples, I came in a week before Christmas needing some pale makeup and was going to buy gifts but didn’t appreciate the way she left me in the middle of the store and started helping a new customer after I asked for a primer sample. I needed 3 samples and 1 foundation and left with splotches of orange on my face and nothing else...
5:45 on a Sunday afternoon at The Avenues East Cobb. Not too busy. In fact, just as I walked in and grabbed an empty basket (of which I had every intention of filling up with goodies), I proceeded to the counter to ask a question about a product I saw online and was quickly asked if I was ready to check out. [Umm....I just got here and my basket is empty]. I was told the product I was asking about was only sold online. I asked if there was a product sold in the store comparable to this product, clearly indicating I was ready to purchase some goods (by the way it was a bottle of shampoo), and the response was “no”. Not, “what is it you like about that product so we can help you find something similar”. Not, “we don’t sell shampoo in this store”. Just “no”. So, I said thank you, dropped my little empty basket where I found it, and walked right out the door. If they don’t want my business then I will take it elsewhere. Congratulations Ulta. You just got a new customer.

I’ve always had a good experience coming to this location. Store associates have always been friendly and attentive, and if they don’t have what I’m looking for then they suggest similar products or let me know where I can get them, which I find helpful.

Beautiful store, but this location doesnt carry any hair care products for women of color. Staff suggested I go to another location 8.5 miles further away from my home or order online. Very disappointing that I wont be able to use the location closest to my home to buy the products other locations carry

My wife loves the stuff, so I went into grab her some items she had requested for Christmas. Staff is super husband/boyfriend friendly. In and out in 10 minutes with the goods.

Very rude service, I was told that only if I purchased $50 worth of products they could guarantee a free mini facial. I never felt so uncomfortable since I bought so much at Sephora. Calling corporate to complain now

This store is very small and doesnt carry nearly as many items as Lenox. Besides that the customer service leaves much to be desired. Again I prefer Lenox as the employees are more cultured and welcome POC.
