Wonderful experience. Very friendly and willing to help. Nice selection of products for all types and levels of sewing needs. Makes you want to learn new thingsπ
Best Sewing Center ever. Extremely nice & very helpful. Two lovely women with great expertise. Awesome store!
I recently was having issues with my sewing machine. All the ladies were so helpful. They even helped me test it out on my fabric, and gave me new sewing tips. I also took by overlock machine to be fixed there, and the mechanic was so great. I would highly recommend going to the Marietta location.
Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Store has lots of pretty fabric and fun tools.
Wonderful staff. I love the large stock of quality fabrics. The staff is very helpful & informative.
Purchased a machine with embroidery attachments. Great people. I cant wait to take some classes. Thanks to my sweet husband for surprising me.
Zero employees were wearing masks. No other customers were wearing masks besides me. If there was anywhere else I could get my Bernina serviced locally I would not ever give Atlanta Sewing Center my business again.
We recently went in to take my sewing machine to get fixed. we got attended to when we first got there and, while waiting for the first lady to come back with paperwork, a second lady offered us help but we told her we were already being taken care of. we got quoted and told itd be ready in a specified amount of time. well, it took less than we expected and i couldnt be happier - i can sew again! :Dlastly, the place looks nicer in person than in the pictures. (:
Helpful staff with everything needed for sewing.
My wife loves this place. She says it has everything she needs and some really great people who work there
Good and fast service for sewing machine repair I will go back to shop. Many fabrics you dont see in regular stores.
Excellent service. Marion and her team is wonderful. I got my little Red and they helped me to start enjoying it. I already signed for the classes and ready to go with my beautiful machine. Thanks Guys .Bernina is like a Ferrari so the price you paid reflect the machine you got.
They had wonderful customer service. The store was very clean and very organize to the various sewing machine brands they carried. The fabrics were beautiful and neatly displayed for your picking. Overall, family friendly atmosphere. ππ
Great fabric, wonderful, knowledgeable people.
Ive gone in several times and Ive have to seek out someone to help me. The actual products are fine, but Ive never actually felt like they wanted me in the store or care about my business. The first two times I was in the store, not one person spoke to me, even though I was in the store for at least 10 minutes. The interpersonal piece of my shopping experience just wasnt there. There are other local places I can get all the stuff I need that they sell, and Ive chosen to give them my business.
Update - they never called with my order. Original review: Great customer service! Ordered a new spindle for my sewing machine, which I will install when it comes in.
The staff at the Marietta location have been very helpful everytime I call or go by there.
Great selection and good prices. Staff treated me when I walked in and helped me find what I was looking for. And then I spent some time wandering the store and looking at everything.
I truly appreciate them here. They were way more helpful than the Augusta ( my hometown) location. I was glad I bought my machine while traveling to get assistance with fixing my machine.Definitely worth driving to Kennesaw.
Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They have in house technicians who can repair your embroidery or sewing machine. Regardless of the brand, make and model. Store is very well stocked and they have excellent how to learn classes for all skill levels.
Knowledgeable friendly people and a nice store too.
Unfortunately the woman helping me didnt know her machines or fabric. Left without a purchase. Ill go there if I need special fabric.
Walked in & was not greeted until I made eye contact. It was one lady on the register helping someone & the other two women in the shop did not acknowledge me or even try to help her out being that she was helping someone. They didnt even say hello which one looked at me several times & also she didnt say you welcome to a man who was thanking her just overall rude. I will say the woman who helped me was pleasant but I wont be back here again.
Everything you need in one store. Great place! Friendly service.
Great place to do business. Had two sewing machines fixed as I waited. They even had a record of when I bought one from 2002. Helped me carry in the machines. Very nice, very helpful and great place to go for repairs, to purchase and for classes.
Nice selection of fabrics and sewing machines. Staff was very helpful.
Took an excellent class from Kathy, a Bernina Certified instructor. Not only was the class phenomenal, but so was the staff and accommodations at the Marietta ASC. I am now a more confident sewist because of my 770 and because Marian and her staff are available to continue my learning.
A good example of what NOT to do. Very bad service, and incredibly rude. All I wanted was to pay for some purchases I picked myself while the owner was busy on the phone and the other employee was with another customer. I was completely ignored and treated very rudely. I guess my $50 purchase was not as impressive as the $1,500 sewing machine. But how do they know I may not want a $2,000 machine soon? As a retailer myself, I am going to use this as an example for our staff of what to avoid at all costs. Very sad.
Im poor af and was gifted money to help me get my crafting business started. I went in to buy a serger with a tiny budget and had a model in mind (but wasnt sure). Marian assisted me, and found the brands sales for the month to lower the price further. I appreciate that she never tried to upsell me, and when my partner and I asked for time to talk over the decision in the other side of the store, she let us have that time without interruption. I never felt pressured to buy anything, which was a relief. I did end up purchasing what I wanted, and things were way less stressful than Id prepared myself for. I didnt feel judged or coerced to purchase, which were the sources of my anxiety. Ill be going back for accessories. :)
Nice. I liked how they sell their threads, buy 3 (I think) and get one free. WILL shop there again.
Bought a new Baby Lock Sewing!! π€π
Friendly, helpful staff. Will return!
Very friendly and did a great job on my wifes machine. Very reasonable prices.
Associates very knowledgeable and responsive.
Friendly staff very helpfulThank you
Bernina technicians are certified and required to continually train on every new machine to keep their certs, which isnt cheap! Bernina machines are the most luxurious machines on the market, and an import to boot, so it goes to reason that they would require specialty treatment which is going to cost more - just like import cars. there are several new cars that cost less than my 880, $100 for a tune up for my machine is a darn good rate which they clearly post for everyone to see so its not like its a suprise (yes, thats what Atlanta sewing center charges, flat rate if it takes them 1 hour or 6 hours to do a good tune up). so to the person who took a machine from a garage sale to them, would you take your $500 hooptie car to the BMW or Lexus dealer for luxury maintenance? You are right, go to Walmart and buy a crappy disposable machine that doesnt require tuneups and just trash them when they break and buy a new one.
If you dont look like a quilter over 50 then they arent particularly kind or helpful. Staff is also not as knowledgeable as they want to seem. If they arent sure of the answer to a question Im pretty sure they just make things up to get the sale. I knew more about needles than they did and the lady who did the demo on a serger was so confused I ended up leaving. Wish there was another Babylock dealer on this side of town.
Nice but small. Friendly but slow to help.
Great service. Very helpful .
Friendly staff, little on pricy side.
Very helpful folks.
Drove 90 minutes to get here because they said they had used Bernina 440s on their website but when we got here the only used models there lower end things. Pretty annoying.
Very rude! Kept asking if I needed help. Did not ask anyone else in the store.
I really do love sewing
