I took my car to Homeward Bound Auto and got more than expected. I wanted a close look at a problem other mechanics could not find the solution to. It turned out I didnt have a big problem but the time and care they took to explain everything was impressive. John and Jyl are really good mechanics, their labor rate is less than anyone around and they just took great care of me. Ill be referring business to them.

I couldnt be more pleased with John and Jill. Working with them was honestly a pleasant experience. For one, the atmosphere is that of an old fashioned family business where you are treated as an individual and not just a customer. That charm and friendless is a rarity in most businesses these days. Secondly, they enjoy what they do. I have always felt more comfortable conducting business with people that enjoy what they are doing over someone that is doing it simply for the paycheck. Generally there is more pride and effort put into the work performed and corners are not cut, not to mention honesty. I will continue do business with John and Jill in the future and will continue to recommend them to others.

John & Jyl have become my go-to mechanics. Theyve done everything for me from brakes to rebuilding the engine on my Subaru. They show real integrity, and consistently go the extra mile to make sure my job is done right, all while generally charging me less than the big box chain repair shops would have. One time John even called up one of those big box shops who done an alignment on my car incorrectly, convinced them to repair the resulting damage, and picked the car up from them to complete the other, unrelated work I had scheduled. I didnt have to lift a finger. They consistently show commitment to getting the right job done the right way, at a fair price and with friendly service.

They are flexible and customer focused, even taking over from some troubleshooting and repair I started in order to save money by installing parts Id already purchased and going from there to solve the problem. A true, locally-owned quality family business!
