Good prices but they charge you after you pay your jewelry off early

I went in last week for a bracelet charm. They offered to clean my wedding rings. When she came back, she told me the prongs around the center diamond were loose, and they could fix it for $100.00. I took it to another jeweler for a second opinion, they said the prongs were completely fine and would be for a long time.

I was told by the Kay Jewlers in Columbus on Tuttle Crossing Blvd inside the mall that it would cost almost $300 to fix my ring which regularly sells for about $250. They said it would take 2 weeks and assumed I didn’t have the money to pay up front and were pushing me to get a credit card. I walked into Kay Jewlers in Mount Vernon and Ali and Brynne were EXTREMELY helpful. They had my ring fixed and cleaned in less than 15 minutes and sold me a lifetime, transferrable warranty for my ring for $60. I was ready to walk away from Kay and never come back but these two lovely ladies completely changed my mind. They deserve a raise, a promotion, or something! A+ for customer service and an A+ for having a heart.
