Down Right Technology did a great job with a Starlink dish install, they even helped cleanup a DirecTV install that was done poorly (ran both sets of wires down the house in a better spot). They installed the dish in a great spot so that it had a clear view of the sky, but yet could not be seen from the front of my house. They secured the wires very well in my utility room, leaving me with access loops, drip loops on the outside, and grounded the directTV coax (which wasnt done by the previous person). I was very happy with their work.

Had Down Right come out and install a TV antenna on the roof. They came out, gave me a quote and even helped me see if my existing window antenna could be improved. After that, I texted them and they were able to come out a couple days later and install my new antenna. They were quick and responsive. Their prices were great and their work looks solid and clean. No picture problems anymore and I get all of the channels I want. Highly recommended.

I was looking to pick my own installer instead of relying on Dish to assign who knows who. Im glad I did. These guys know what theyre doin. We live in a condo and that can sometimes be a challenge when it comes to equipment placement, etc. Paul was willing to meet with the members prior to the installation. I hired Paul to come and install a roof antenna for OTA reception as part of cutting the cord. I could not be happier with the results! Paul was a complete professional from start to finish, taking a lot of time to answer my questions and make sure that he knew what I was looking to do. His work was clean and well done and he stayed to make sure all was working. he even fixed something on my roof not at all connected to the project! Our family is new to Iowa and didnt have any idea where to go for getting a new satellite system. Paul and Down Right live up to the great reviews. He never once tried to up sell us on anything, and listened patiently while I explained what I wanted in the house. We have a fairly unique situation in that the main receiver isnt hooked to a TV, it is in the basement and we have genies on the two TVs. Paul and John painstakingly set everything up so that it all worked perfectly the first time.Thank you so much for the great work on installing our satellite system. It was very nice to have someone do work that actually knows what they are doing.Thank you also for installing the cable outlet. Most places would have said no, we dont do that, or you have to ask ahead of time. You were so willing to do it even though I only mentioned it the day you were installing.We have had no problems at all, so you more than likely will never hear from us.

I had called Paul several days before I tried to hook up a antenna, because I went from Dish to antenna, to ask him a few questions about the hook up process. He was so nice and helpful. I couldnt get it to work. The next week I called him again, he was here the next day, had the problem taken care of in no time. The cost to me was LOW!! Great guys!! Thanks again Paul!!! Didnt want cable anymore so we called Paul to hook up an antenna. Very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable, reasonable rates also. Cant go wrong with anything TV if you call Paul.

I was referred by a friend and couldnt believe the professionalism and care taken to get my satellite service installed, up and running. They even took the time to wire it cleanly and explained why it shouldnt be cobbled together. This is the place everyone needs to use! I would call them again, no question!

This is the 2nd time Pauls been at my house, and hes more than done right by me both times. Hes always available, and your call goes directly to him and not some phone tree that makes you want to do yell very loud things. Ive never met anyone more knowledgeable about his field, and he cares more for what you want and will use than selling you some arbitrary fad. He makes the process easier than Ive ever experienced with any company. If you are going to sign up or switch satellite companies, this is your guy. A+ across the board.

DirecTV just told me to call somebody and Im very glad I called Down Right Satellite. They showed up very quickly and couldnt have been more friendly. I would definitely call them again.

I strongly recommend Paul and John. They removed our satellite sytem. Provided and installed an over the air antenna. Set up and prgrammed our tvs and remotes. Work was done in a professional manner. Cost was very reasonable.

I want everyone to know that I am a very happy customer. Paul did a great job for me. About a month ago I was complaining to my friend about my TV service, she told me about Down Right Satelite and that she was very happy with them so reluctantly I called. Paul came out asked a lot of questions about who watched TV, what I liked to watch, and what I wanted, he recommended a few things to me. There are two particularly outstanding things about Paul and his “Down Right Satellite” business: (1) he’s a real person, who’s available locally; and (2) he’s an expert who really knows his stuff. Admittedly, my wife and I have been “dinosaurs” when it comes to home electronics. For years we’ve had multiple televisions in the house, all “tube” sets . . . not a one “high-def”. Our “big screen” has been a huge projection box. Rather than face extinction, we finally decided to upgrade . . . and one of the best decisions made was to contact Paul. He came to our home, evaluated our system, recommended specific options to improve our service, reviewed cost and, together with business associate John, installed everything needed expediently. We now have flat screen televisions, all “high-def”, and a single satellite receiver controls everything (also with ability to watch TV anywhere there’s a Wi-Fi signal). We can’t over-emphasize how impressed we’ve been with Paul’s knowledge and professional skill, as well as the attention to detail he and John took during installation. It’s reassuring to know that Paul is readily available if a problem ever should occur. If you have satellite questions or needs, don’t ever call an “800” number for “tech support”. After a full year of tolerating internet and cable problems with Mediacom I finally called a Paul at Downright for some help. He came over and told me what was wrong and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes. We have had Mediacom out to our house many many times and have made countless phone calls to them to try and get our issues fixed with no luck whatsoever and he came and fixed it in 15 minutes! THE Best option for cutting the cord! Not only can they handle any and all satellite or cable challenges, they’ll get you up and running on an antenna/Over The Air solution in no time flat. Experienced, efficient, intelligent and creative, Down Right Technology is the cord cutter’s best friend in Eastern Iowa. They walked into a really complicated installation in my house and handled it well. As a result, I’ve fired both Mediacom and DirectTV, I’m saving more than $100 a month with my Antenna, Roku and Tablo solutions, and I have far more local channels than I ever thought that I’d be able to get in Coralville.
