I always enjoy coming to Jer-Zee when I vacation in Ohio! The shredded chicken sandwich is one of my favorites along with a peanut butter milkshake or an orange Creamsicle cone. Family oriented, great food, great atmosphere!

Jer-zee is always a good time. Employees are always friendly. Ice cream and food always delicious. Such a staple of the community.

I have been going here for ice cream since I was a little girl! The is always yummie and affordable!

Its their 70th year and there is a good reason theyve been around for so long. They did Christmas in July today with Santa. Kids could get a pic with him. I got a shredded chicken sandwich, Coney dog, and a chocolate covered cherry clipper. The Coney sauce is outstanding I only wish the dog was a bit bigger thicker (it is a skinny dog). Shredded chicken was excellent and the clipper was tasty. They also had for the kids a Santa cone or cup.

Everybody loves it! The wait can be pretty long. Probably 4 times out of ten I want to go here I actually go, so long as I have the time to spare. All their treats are great!

Born and raised in Marion, the Jer-Zee Drive-in was always our go-to for Ice Cream, Shakes & comfort foods like coneys and chicken sandwiches. We dont get home often but during a recent visit the Jer-Zee didnt disappoint! As good as ever. Thanks for maintaining the tradition folks!

The greatest ice cream parlor in town, with excellent coneys. They are in an inconvenient place in terms of traffic tho, but the team always breaks through to get you the service you deserve.

Great prices but quantities of large ice cream cones depends on whos filling it, sometimes large are large but sometimes theyre more like a small, no consistency, Fred s is always larger sized for same $ price. Long lines here too, but quity of food and ice cream very good!

This place is seasonal. They always have different things, this last year they had specials for most of the days of the week. American style foods, but what brings me is the ice cream. They have been so creative over the years and there are literally hundreds of things you can order, and if its not on the menu I bet they can make it! Go go go! They open in Spring and close in late Summer.

This place has been open for decades and I can see why!The icecream is old school and friendly for families. The chicken sandwiches are a must along with a tall cone. The staff are nice and smiling. The staff do cater to allergens, just let them know and they thoroughly clean the machines and go through protocol to make sure youre good to go. The line set up is rough as people tend to line up right beside a main road which you really need to keep an eye on your children. Plenty of parking and picnic tables to sit at. Theres a park near by for enjoyment while you eat. Love this place.

This place holds so many childhood memories. Glad they are still as good as they were when I was growing up and I can share the memories with my kid.

My family loves coming here. Their ice cream and food is so good. We love that they have a different flavor of soft serve about each month. This is our go to spot for ice cream and we live a half hour away.

This place is an institution in Marion. Great soft serve ice cream treats, including specialty ice cream bars. Also home made chicken sandwiches and coney sauce for footlong hot dogs.

Love it. Every year you anticipate their opening. I do wish they would stay opened longer. They open in February and Im not kidding you, the snow can be flying and youll still see people standing in line. The absolute best footlongs anywhere!!!!

Delicious. Prices seem a bit on the high side, but then again I suppose most ice cream is these days. Worth the price to be sure. On the side of the building it says a Marion tradition since 1949. Easy to see why. Good product, friendly, patient staff that know said product very well. My personal favorite is a Butterfinger clipper (their version of a DQ blizzard). I think it would be an interesting touch if pictures existed of the place back in the 50s and they put a few up around the building. Just one mans humble opinion. Anyway, if you live in Marion and havent tried it yet, do yourself a favor and go!

The service is Paramount and the prices are reasonable for the serving sizes. I have two little girls and every time we go to Jer-Zees they are very helpful. They always offer extra napkins and a bowl with a spoon in case the girls ice cream starts melting. One time when my daughter dropped her ice cream cone they even replaced it free of charge.

Best ice cream in Marion. I have never had a bad time here. Portions are huge and well worth it. I always get the same thing every time I come here and that is the buckeye sundae. It is absolutely worth it.

Good place to go, if you can catch them during their operational time. Their off season for winter runs from something like September to February. Should be more like November to April. Why close an ice cream place when its still 80 out, and open back up when its still snowing??

Best Milkshakes and Shredded Chicken Sandwiches in town. Seriously, it doesnt get any better than this. Their Coney Dogs are really good too. 😎 This is a seasonal food establishment. They open toward the end of winter and close in the mid to late summer. The cost of food is reasonable and they now accept credit card as well as cash.

My wife and I have stopped here once a year for the past 3 years and every year it is a disappointment, prices are typical for a dairy bar but portions are incredibly small for the amount of money your paying. The quality is no better or worse than any other dairy bar in town, for the longest time they only took cash and have most recently accepted debit cards that is the only reason they got 2 stars, after living in Marion for 27 years and going to every spot in town the only thing I can recommend is to pass this place up and move onto one of the other places in town they are priced the same with more bang for your buck and your not loosing quality.

Absolutely Favorite Place To Get Icecream In Marion!

Pretty god. Just wish they were open all year and prices were lower for most items. Can be quite expensive depending. Wish they would make the lines for waiting more defined by putting up queue line rope. People cutting infront of you when youre waiting for a window. Everyone should know whoever is next gets next avail window but most of them are rude and will not care youve been waiting for over 10 mins. PLEASE figure this out. It makes a few of us not even want to come because once it starts getting busy, we know people are going to do this and we dont have the time sometimes to stand in line for over 20 mins because people want to cut infront of you and be inconsiderate by not listening when you say something to them.

Always a treat! The best footlong coneys youll find anywhere and the ice cream is amazing. Soft serve flavors vary from time to time and combination twist flavors are always delicious. My favorites are vanilla/orange sherbert and strawberry/blue raspberry twists. Prices are reasonable and they now accept debit cards for an extra fee of 50 cents. Seasonally open from around April to September.

Its the go-to place for coneys, ice cream, and other goodies. Easy to walk to, always staffed by fun people.It is always packed, so dont be discouraged by the line, they get you through pretty fast for the demand. Good for all ages. Never had an issue there.

Best place in town for a Coney/ketchup/onion and a peanut butter milkshake! Their chicken sandwiches are great too! I like mine with a slice of cheese. Well worth the wait in heat or cold, but bring someone along as a runner if the weather is too much for you personally. There are some tables available outside for dining.I have memories of this place from roughly 45 yrs ago....always family owned and operated....and always has been 2 walk-up windows.....thought my parents were crazy when they wanted their simpler times back....age has made me want them too...lol.

The Best shredded chicken sandwich’s, im there 2 or three times a week and my goto is the extra thick, choc. malt and certainly the reg shake if your not into the malted . and the large is huge so you can share with a date & if you really want that hometown staple go for broke an order up the double, Topsie-Turvey (banana split)
