The best music store I honestly have probably ever been in if you are in Marion rather you stop in to town or you live here do yourself a favor and shop here instead of going to Kellers music the people that work here are more knowledgeable and way nicer and they are cheaper as well a lot cheaper the guitar luthier is in store unlike Kellers music as well it really is just a better music store they have my business for life Im a 17 year musician that is in a band

First couple times I went here several years back, I noticed that most of their guitars for sale were Corbins. Was adamantly told they were just as good as Fender’s or Ibanez, and indistinguishable sound wise. Didn’t particularly agree, but I did buy an acoustic here a couple years ago that I play regularly. I don’t like that this is the only place in town to pick up guitar strings, considering every time I need some (today for instance), they are always closed.

Chuck is awesome, very friendly, sery personable, will do everything in his reach to make sure you are ready to jam. Very knowledgeable about all instruments and sound... it would take me too long to say all the good things about this place. If you are a musician or a DJ/KJ, and need advice or device for anything.... go see Chuck and his people, they will take care of you!!

I shipped my upright bass from Arizona to Marion . The sound post fell over during shipping so I had a friend drop it off at Musicians 1 stop . They had my bass for months told me it couldnt be fixed said Pat Thomas worked on it for hours and just wasnt fixable. We took that bass down to the violin loft down in Columbus they put the sound post in I been playing it ever since. They lied to me had my bass for months didnt even touch it Chuck And his luithier Pat are not honest people buyers beware! Take your instrument to Columbus its worth the drive.

I was in town visiting from out of state, and found this store. The owner was very friendly, and knowledgeable about his products. I was looking for some pedals, and left with several! Wish we had a place like this back home!

Flat out rude, went in to see if theyd be interested in a CH-100 Casio Electronic Saxaphone. He said no. So i said not even for free? Since i didnt want it anymore and thought he would find a good home for it. Still was rude as hell and smug. Told me to give it to a good friend. Its worth around 100 in the condition its in.Just wanted it to go to a good home, but clearly the owner doesnt care about customer service.DONT SHOP HERE.

Reasonable pricing and negotiable, a pleasant experience but selection is limited by space.

I take my childs band instrument there to get serviced. They get the job done quickly, and it comes back playing like it is new. I also buy my childs odds and ends she needs for her instruments such as grease and reeds here as well.

Dont go here. Owner is a smug jerk, has a lot of lesser quality stuff. I bought an amp channel switcher from him which he sold me stating its high quality only to have it break within a month. While trying to sell something to the store recently after asking if he was interested and the idea of money I would like to obtain from the item he laughed, walked away and went on to help another customer in the store instead of just saying he wasnt interested like every other customer service person should do. I would not buy even guitar strings from this business. Multiple poor experiences.

Walked in and asked for a millimeter gauge for setting up an electric and asked for advice, owner flat out wouldnt give me any. But was more than happy to try and sell me setup service and lessons. Will most likely never visit again, dont visit...

Learning to play a Guitar at an older age ..

I had some pickups installed there on my Fender Strat and they did a great job with it. I did see some things I thought were over priced, but all in all, I thought Chuck was a nice guy, hell talk your head off.

Only visited here twice when I needed my clarinet tuned and fixed. Very helpful.

Dropped off an amp for repair and discussed purchasing another guitar.

Despite whats been given, the owner is a nice guy. So far Ive bought a drumset, a ukulele, and a bunch of ddrumsticks, cut me some deals too. Hes been nice every time, even fixed my best friends guitar for free. I dont get all the anger given in previous reviews. I recommend whole heartedly stopping here.
