This company came to drop off 4 truck loads of dirt. The first driver arrived, drove over my landscaped bricks (unnecessarily) as he poorly backed into my driveway. Drove past the cone the landscaper left out to signify where to drop the dirt, moved my trash cans out of the way, and then proceeded to back into the woods next to my driveway to drop the topsoil IN THE WOODS!!So not only did I lose at least a yard of topsoil because of their drivers lack of common sense, but I have damage to my landscaped block sidewalk because the driver drove over them with a full dump truck.I called the office for Britton Industries. I was passed around to a few departments before getting the voicemail of their general manager. I left a message and was not called back until the following week by someone else. They asked for pictures and for a few pieces of information. I sent them on June 1st, 17 days ago. No response. Nothing. My landscaper told me that he heard from them and their claim is that they believe the driver when he said it was the only way he could back in. However, the other 3 drivers had no problem. I am very upset, disappointed, and displeased with this company.I do NOT recommend them by any means. My tune could change if they ever decide to reconcile their drivers error.
The darkest black mulch I have found, very consistent product, does not turn gray in color! Deliveries are prompt and the count is dead on for numerous years. I have been in business for over 40 years and I have dealt with many suppliers and Britton Industries has been one of the best! Thank you to all at Britton and especially Joanne.
Charged $26.50 a ton for dumping concrete which costed over $300 for a single load. Highest fee we ever encountered dumping concrete. All other concrete dumps would have charged less than $100 for the same load.
