Due to unforeseen things, our garage door and motor had to be replaced with a new one before leaving town. We called Superior Overhead Garage Doors. They scheduled us for Monday, October 4th, 2021 between 6p-9p.Kris and Matt finished their last job before coming to us. They arrived at 10pm and worked tirelessly until the work was finished. The work was finished at 1:30am and Kris and Matt took their time to go over the instructions with us on how to work the new remote and garage. We greatly appreciate Kris and Matt for their untiring time and work. Youre the best. Superior Overhead Garage Doors your the greatest!

I didn’t want to spend the extra money to replace my garage door. I called Superior for an estimate and Kris came out the next day and and gave me a free estimate. He saved me lots of money repairing instead of replacing…. Very reasonable considering the price to replace. His service was fast, friendly, and professional. The motor/rail system snapped as our garage door was closing a few days ago. Called Superior and Kris was over same day for an estimate. He did a phenomenal job replacing our top solid wood panel (which had a hole in it from the system snapping), all new hardware, and new motor. He stayed until the job was completed and cleaned up after he was done. Explained our new system in detail. Highly recommend to anyone with garage door needs.

Always great work and staff interaction. Ive had them do two jobs at two homes. One I sold and was having issues and they made it out the same day to evaluate and make recommendations, then returned a few days later to complete the work. The most recent job was a lifestyle screen for my new home. The product had a long lead time and we made an ambitious appointment time based on the lead from manufacturer. The product didnt arrive in time for the appointment, not a huge surprise, but would have liked a bit more communication from them as to when we could get on schedule. Within a week the product was in and we were rescheduled a few days later so not a huge deal. The day of the appointment Kris was in contact and kept me informed, they were running behind and had to break the install up into two days. Im happy with the final product and would use them again if the need arises. I must also say that the prices are far better than many of their competitors.

My neighbors were having their garage door fixed and I stopped to ask them how much they would charge to replace the lift spring on my door since it broke last fall. The guy had extra parts on the truck and said he could jump right over and get it knocked out today. Within an hour and a half I was able to easily access my garage again and he was on his way. A little pricey for my taste, but quality work done with no prior notice, so it was worth it in the long run.

Kris Walton did an excellent job installing my garage door bottom seal and was extremely professional. He answered all of my garage door maintenance questions thoroughly. Superior will be my go to for garage door repair and replacement.

Very thorough diagnosis of the problem. He could have--as another professional suggested--either replaced the logic board or replaced the whole system, but that would not have fixed the main cause of the problem. The door was too heavy for the one spring above it, and as such, the motor was having to work too hard, thereby burning out the logic board. Not only did this processional replace the logic board in the motor, he put in a proper set of TWO springs above the door and replaced a cheap bearing with a proper one. Now our garage door opener responds properly to the remotes in our cars when we are coming home.

I wouldnt recommend this company. They were suppose to come between the hours od 1-4. Never showed up and didnt call to say theybwere running late. Once they arrived on the second day theynwere unable to complete the job and didnt finish until the third day.

Update: July 27, 2020They called us back and said that we should not have been charged a “service call fee” since we had the repair done right then. The fee was quickly refunded. I updated from 2 stars to 3 as 6 days after the repair, we have had to call them back out and were told it would be 5 days before someone could come. I have a brand new car that I cannot garage in fear of the door and a golf cart I cannot enjoy because we cannot open our garage door...we opted for the repair that had a 5 year warranty...we will see how things go when they come to repair.Technician was great, but they do not provide “free estimates”. I was told what my repair would be, but got charged a service call fee of $55.00 when I decided to have the repair done right then. I was not made aware of this until I had paid and received my invoice.

Update: way to turn things around! Within two days of getting in touch, they came and took care of our system. Everything is working great now. Great companies handle mistakes the best way and its looks like theyre in that category. Thanks for taking care of it.

My garage door wouldnt rise using the remote or wall controller. I called Superior Overhead that night around 6 PM and they scheduled me for 8 PM the same night. Mark arrived just a little after 8 PM and quickly figured out that one of my springs had broken and needed to be replaced. He worked until around 10 PM replacing the springs and servicing other parts of my door. He did a great job and the door is even a little quieter going up and down. The only issue with Mark is that he had issues using the tablet to email me a receipt and didnt know how to use the tablet to accept credit cards. My door works great and getting the receipt last night wasnt that big a deal. My wife is pleased so job well done.

Back-to-Back days they no showed the appointment without a phone call letting me know. Strongly recommend giving your hard earned money to another company. They cost me two days of work. The most disturbing part, I have still not heard from them on why this happened and they wont answer any calls.I regret not reading the google reviews beforehand because this looks to be a pattern for this organization.AVOID. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The original springs on my garage door busted and I called Superior to have some one come out. They came out same day. When they arrived they had all the parts that they needed and were able to do a full rebuild if the door hardware. It was amazing and Brian and Cameron were fast and efficient. Their prices are reasonable and they even give military discounts on all the parts which saved me a lot of money. Would recommend them for any of your garage door needs

Called because our very large heavy garage door was broken and off track. Superior came out the SAME day and couldnt believe they would work late into the night to get it fixed. They were able to recommend things that needed to be updated but explained everything thoroughly. They even were able to do a few additional things that I asked for like a new bottom gasket that needed to be changed. Absolutely happy!!

I called Overhead Door of Augusta to repair my old Stanley Garage Door Opener. They had a day wait before they could check my door out so I went online and found Superior Overhead Garage Door and called them. They were able to come in about three hours. Turns out my motor was bad and replacement parts unavailable . They replaced my obsolete Stanley opener with a new Chamberlain opener. In the process they identified a couple of things needed to improve reliability and safety of my garage door (new garage door spring, new neoprene rollers with bearings, an upgraded J-Arm mounting bracket, surge protector and a door support brace. Installation was professional and cost fairly reasonable. I would recommend them highly. Great work and safety ethic. They went over maintenance to maintain optimal operation and also paired the garage door opener to my wife’s car.

Our installers, Mark & David, were great. Due to a late start time, they worked until about 8 pm on a Saturday evening to completely finish everything, never rushing. Mark was particularly knowledgeable and accommodating. After everything was completed, Mark moved the sensors at my request, due to a problem we have had in the past with the sun hitting them for about an hour in the morning and thus rendering our previous door opener unworkable. He then took the time to patiently explain everything to me. Lisa in the office was also very nice to work with. She always kept me up to date on the scheduling. We love the new door & opener with the belt drive; so smooth & quiet. If I could give Superior Door 6 stars, I would! Highly recommended...

Was suppose to be at my house between 1-4 on March 30, 2021 and didn’t show till after 5pm. When they finally showed did not have the equipment to fix my garage. Was told they were going to get what they needed and would be back and never showed. I called the office spoke with someone and set up another appointment for the 31st and the different technician showed up and done the job.

David from Superior Door came to our home in Aiken today to do repairs on the garage door at our home and on a rental house that we own. He was very professional and efficient in getting both jobs done to our satisfaction. Further, he made recommendations for door maintenance and what we need to watch to avoid further repairs. Job well done at reasonable cost! Will use Superior Door again when repairs needed in the future. Highly recommended.

Kris and another employee that I did not get her name From Superior Overhead door came out to do a repair. They did a great job and priced very good. Work was done in a quik and timely manner. Kris went over some safety updates that could be done to my door because I brought up my garage door spring broke and my door came crashing down about 2 years ago which also superior repaired. That is very dangerous and when that happens you have to lift the door manually and that door is very very heavy. Could have been a bad situation. Highly recommend Superior overhead door and there staff

I had a service appointment 3 to 5. He texted me at 9:15 pm at night about coming out. This is not good customer service for someone to leave you hanging when you have been around waiting all day. And does not answer the office number when you call the find out where your technician is. I would recommend using a different company very shady .

So I have used Superior before and was pleased, but no more! Twice this week they didnt even show up OR CALL! I had to call them and say are you coming?!! They said yes and then never showed up or called. TERRIBLE!

We have had two appointments with Super Overhead Garage Doors, both of which we have been pleased with. The first time Chris and a nice woman (whose name we unfortunately did not catch) came and helped us install new springs and rollers, which made our door work again and also become more quiet.A few months later when we were experiencing some issues with the garage door having closing down all the way we gave Superior Overhead Garage Doors a call. Just like the last time we did business with them, we were able to receive an early appointment. This time Mark and Kevin came and very quickly diagnosed the issue as being misaligned sensors. They gave us a rundown on the importance of clearing the sensors paths as well as maintenance tips for the door in general. They also stapled two loose wires into the wall. They were both really nice and funny.

David came out and fixed our problem in no time. Did a great job.

I have nothing but GREAT THINGS to say about Kris and Mark who had work orders for my house on several occasion. Each time they came I tried to explain what the garage door was doing they listen and did not second guess me. They explain and educated me on what was going on and did not make me feel like I was dumb. If a part was not under warranty they left me know the cost ahead and if I wanted to move forward with the work. Nothing was more then they stated. The young lady that answer the phone was very knowledgeable about the orders and call me and let me know when the parts arrived. The appointments was very quick and the available times were awesome. As Kris and Mark perform their job I asked questions and they again didnt hesitate and answering them. Once the job was completed they gave me a manual and explain how to work the garage opener. I dont think Ive had as much courtesy, professionalism, efficiency, and satisfaction as Ive had in the five days that Ive dealt with Superior Overhead Garage Door Service: I contacted them on Monday, got an estimate on Tuesday, got installed on Thursday, and Im STILL happy on Friday. Mick(sp) was kind on first contact with scheduling everything, and Chris didnt rush through the estimate; he listened to my concerns first, and then gave me several recommendations based upon my input and his experience. Richard and Cameron arrived later in the evening, but despite the fact that they HAD to already be tired, both of these gents were engaging and professional when putting up both of my new motors. They answered my questions and made sure that I was fully satisfied and completely understood all of the bells & whistles that come with the systems. Again, I cant remember ever having been as pleased with a company as I am with Superior; I HIGHLY recommend their services and I would not hesitate to use them again if the need arises!

I called Superior and they were out in a few days. they repaired my garage door which was an old one but is now good for many more years and works better than before. they saved me lots of $$$s for not having to purchase a special size door. Kris the installer was great and very customer service oriented. i highly recommend them for any repairs you may need.

Weve had an issue with our garage door for a few months. We travel a lot, so we are not home all the time. I called Superior yesterday about mid day. I explained the issue and that I thought that we needed a new door and hardware. Chris came out the same day, replaced a few parts and added struts to the door. It operates like new and the price was reasonable and less than I expected. Chris was very respectful and explained what I needed to do for maintenance. I am glad I picked them.

I had an appointment window of between 9 and 11 am on Saturday. At 11 I had not heard a word so I called the number to see if I was still scheduled. The lady that answered without even asking who I was said that the technician was running a little late. I called again at 12, 1, 2 and 3 but no one answered the phone and the voicemail was full. At 4 I called again and the lady that answered said that they had been looking for the technician for 3 hours and did not know where they were. I hope the technician is alright but the company website says they will call you if there were any problems. I did not receive one call the whole day and as my garage door was stuck open this caused undue stress. It would appear that a company that says they provide 24/7 service would have a second technician on call in case of emergencies. I needless to say am very disappointed in this company and would really think hard about using them in the future. No call, just disrespectful. I lost a whole Saturday waiting on them.

My garage door decided to break on a Sunday night and we didnt find out until we tried to leave for work Monday morning. I called Superior Overhead Garage Door Service and spoke with a nice lady who was able to get me in same day between 2-5pm.Richard Welch was my tech and he showed up around 3pm.
