Worked with Jake getting material specd for multiple projects that we had on our wish list. He provided competitive pricing and availability of what we were looking for. We decided to go with Mountaineer Kitchen and Bath to provide and install new quartz countertops, sink, disposal and new backsplash in our kitchen.Communication and scheduling through Jake went well and contractors showed up as planned and performed their trades. There were a few minor issues that were identified - Jake took them seriously and had them resolved promptly which shows character in both the staff and business model. Any project will have them; its how they are handled that makes the difference.Overall, we are extremely happy with the work and product provided to us. Will be reaching out again to them when its time to do more projects.

We had a very positive experience with our kitchen remodel with Mountaineer and would use them again. Lucas was very good with getting Debbie the design she was looking for. Randy was at our house almost everyday, and he along with all of the other workers were very professional and considerate while working in our house while we lived there. They stayed on the schedule that was given to us before they started, and finished exactly when they said they would.

They remodeled our bathroom and I can’t say enough great things about this company. Every single person we dealt with was responsive and professional. The work was completed when they said it would be, and when we had a minor problem a few months later (which I’m not even sure was any fault of theirs), they took care of it- no questions asked. Quality work and professional, responsive people. I highly recommend.

They did a complete remodel of our master bath. This job took about 3 weeks. All workers were polite and professional. Each step was clearly explained to us. We couldnt be more pleased with the results.

We recently replaced our old Formica countertops with new granite countertops through Mountaineer Kitchens and Baths. Conner was a delight to work with, he met us on a Saturday to help us decide which material we wanted. And he was very patient as we changed our minds several times. The installation crew was on time and very professional and did an amazing job. They did a great clean-up after the job was completed.

Installed quartz countertops. We were very pleased, from start to finish. No mess at all. They were here when they said they would be. Additionally, they beat out 3 local competitors as we did our homework beforehand and got 4 estimates. Cannot say enough good about MKandB. Very refreshing these days to pay for something and be so pleased. We highly recommend.

Great selection of countertops. Reviewed an email proposal next day. I liked that the technical people were available to answer questions removing a lot of guessing and uncertainty. I feel confident in my decision which you should be when you spend that much.

Mountaineer is by far the most professional contractor I have worked with. They stuck to their schedule and made sure everything was 1000% to our satisfaction. Ben, Buck, Zach, Raymond and the rest of the team made my wife’s kitchen dreams came true. I couldn’t recommend them enough from original design to execution. The countertop installers they utilize are top notch as well and will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We were very happy with the bath remodeling that Mountaineer Kitchens & Baths did for us. The workmen were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They finished the work on time and it was done properly. Our bathroom had a major remodel, from moving the toilet, disposing of a monster whirlpool tub, and enlarging our master closet. They installed dry wall, new granite sinks, bath cabinets, light fixtures, tiled walk-in glass shower, grip handrails, granite bench, and a bonus niche by our toilet. They painted the entire room and closet. We highly recommend Mountaineer Kitchens & Baths.

We had a very positive experience with Mountaineer Kitchens and Baths performing a complete renovation of our master bathroom. We worked together on the design, features, and price to combine our desires and requirements within our budget for the project. Everyone was unfailingly polite and respectful to us and to our home. All work was completed in a professional manner of quality. Project started on time, and crews always showed up where and when they said they would. Wed even get a call each morning to alert us when they were about 10-15 minutes from arriving. Bottom line is that we are absolutely delighted with the end result. The master bath renovation project was everything we expected and more! LOVE our new bathroom!

I am currently 2 months 7 days beyond my promised deadline. I put my deposit in September. Job was to be complete 2nd week in Dec. 2020. Its now the 3rd week of Feb 2021. Thats all ill say right now. Lets hope I dont have to say more snd theyll fix the issues immediately.

We just had them back to finish the basement project. The work as usual was perfect. I can’t say enough about them. Their finish carpenter Raymond Brown is truly an artist.We remodeled a master bath and added intricate cherry paneling to a family room. They did an outstanding job, very professional, tidy, courteous and punctual. I would definitely recommend this company.

Mountaineer Kitchen and Baths did a complete makeover of our kitchen and powder room. From start to finish, the job went smoothly. They were very attentive to our needs, and made some wonderful suggestions about the design. They worked hard to stay within our budget and completed the work in a timely fashion. We love our new kitchen and powder room and definitely recommend them!

Our family truly enjoyed working with Mountaineer Kitchen & Bath. We had one of our upstairs bathrooms converted to be handicap-accessible. They worked with us on the design and offered suggestions to help keep costs within a reasonable budget. All the people we met from owner, to salespeople, to project managers, to the people doing the building were prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional. As we were transplants to the area, we very much wanted to have locals do the work so we would be a success story for them and not just a meaningless number on some corporations log books. They felt like family, and although we wanted the project completed, we were almost sorry to see it done. We will definitely call them back in the future for any further projects.

Do not use this company! I paid over $45,000 for kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops. A lot of service calls were needed to correct/replace damaged cabinet doors and drawers that were NOT damaged by me or my contractor. I made the mistake of paying in full as soon as the job was completed. I needed to cancel an order for cabinets and countertops for a home office that would take up too much space. The salesman was not happy about this. But later I spent approx $5,000 for a kitchen desk that matched my cabinets and countertops. This company did not work well with my general contractor re scheduling the project. It caused me a lot of headaches. Now 3 years later the paint on my cabinet doors is discolored due to cooking residue coming from the microwave oven and stove beneath it. They never caulked one area of countertop and now it is separating from the backsplash. I called the company the other day but my calls are not being returned. I should add that I did file a small claims lawsuit in Berkeley County WV Magistrate Court about 2 1/2 years ago but my claim was dismissed because this company claimed I still owed them money on the kitchen desk contract but I did not. They have been paid in full. I need for this company to put me in touch with the cabinet manufacturer so I can replace the damaged cabinet doors as they are obviously not going to do anything about them.

What a night and day difference they have made in our kitchen! The kitchen is my happy place. It’s where I make magic. What they did in here is pure magic. They were on time and did a professional job. Very personable and friendly. I highly recommend Mountaineer Kitchens and Baths!

Ordered all cabinets and countertops for kitchen and baths for new house. Sample shown was not what I received. Replaced doorfronts except for 1 and they are not responding to me or contractor. Countertop was represented as easy to clean, it is not, shows every spot. Kurt the owner recommended the products I picked, bathroom cabinets are useless. Will eventually replace. Very costly mistake

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Mountaineer Kitchens and Baths. We had a very small project, a bathroom vanity and top, yet Bryon DeGraw and his team treated us like customers who were getting a full kitchen remodel. Bryon was patient as we decided what to do and he checked in on us regularly, which we really appreciated. The installation crew was fabulous also. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable and did nice work. Mountaineer Kitchens and Baths will be our first call for our next home project.

Before I begin, read their reviews. Im not the only one with this experience. They do not know how to treat customers.The arrogance of this company is stunning. They came out to give me a quote a week after I called. The owner couldnt even give me a price when he got here and honestly seemed baffled about the job, which was completing a bathroom that already had a rough in.He told me he would get me a quote by the end of LAST WEEK. A week later, they couldnt be bothered to even send me a courtesy email to let me know it was going to take be longer because they were behind.When I called to let them know why I was going with another contractor (because if this is the experience so far who wants to spend thousands to be treated worse once they already have your money) I was told that they were busy because they are so good at what they do. And that if I didnt like that answer I wasnt the right customer for them.So, in effect this company that clearly is too busy to take on other customers, and shouldnt be until they are ready, only wants your business if you understand they are doing you a favor and you better just sit there and be quiet until they get back to you.

Really friendly and helpful . They try to give a lot of options based on the customers need and preferences. Ask to talk with Annette . And Raymond is excellent .

Mountaineer Kitchens & Baths recently remodeled our kitchen, laundry room, and powder room, and we were very pleased with the end result as well as the process. Though there were no walls to move, we did rearrange appliance placement, which required plumbing and electrical work. Also, we replaced a tile floor. The coordination between all vendors was very smooth. Mountaineer led the charge, and there were no delays. The workmanship met our high expectations, and the end result is just beautiful. Thats not to say there werent bumps along the way, but they were quickly fixed (and often recognized before we noticed them). Thanks so much to Kurt, Raymond, Michael, Clarence, Jaime, Chris and anyone else that I left out (to whom I apologize) - they can be very proud of their craftsmanship!

Ordered an Alio shed here. It was built exactly as I wanted it. Tracie was extremely helpful and answered all of my many questions. Cannot recommend them enough!

Had new counter tops put in and walk in shower. They did a great job and Kurt was easy to deal with.

Still waiting on a quote.
