Hats OFF to Trina W..Beth E. and the Tech Larry B. We recvd a recall notice on our 2004 Honda CRV..We drovea long distance to have it repaired. Unfortunately they were short staffed. Both Trina and Beth were ever so apologetic due to the additional wait time. Both were very sympathetic and Friendly considering the pressure and the back up of customers..Larry was very Efficient and prompt in fulfilling the recall repairs with in 30 minutes .This staff deserves a pay raise for some were doing more than their positions for the same pay. Would highly recommend Nelson Honda and these 3 particular workers anytime.Great job you All..Hopeful you get Great recognition for All your Efforts and Professionalism..Great Job!!

Set up an appointment to look at a car we drove about 1 hour and 45 mins to be told they had know idea who we were or what we were there to see . After talking to the lady that greeted us we were told the car was never on there lot and was at another lot were it had been sent to another dealership in there group were it was being sold . They did not even come out to talk to us till I told the young lady I was going to leaving review., then she came out to tell us it was not there fault and to have a good day.I under stand thing happen and car get sold but they acted like it was no big deal.The only bright side was we talked to someone and was sent to one of the other lots in the group were they tryed to find us a car but with no luck .
My in-laws both took off work and drove 3 HOURS to test drive a vehicle that was SOLD before they got there. Before they left for the trip the morning of they called to confirm that the vehicle had still been reserved. When they ARRRIVED to the dealership they were informed that the vehicle had ALREADY BEEN SOLD. The dealerships response, It just sold a little while ago, can we show you something else? 6 HOURS of driving and NOTHING to show for it. I would be livid if any dealership did me that way. Shame on you Nelson Honda.6/10/21 Reply:Whether it was 3 hours or a 3 minute drive to get there, Nelson Hondas word was that the vehicle was reserved, scheduled, set-aside, booked or however it was phrased for them to test drive, in addition to that, my in-laws gave an estimated time for arrival. My in-laws gave their word that they were coming to test drive it and potentially give you business.Its unfortunate indeed, this day-in-age, were losing the value of keeping our word, and thats whats truly at stake with Nelson Honda in my opinion.Ive never had to put anything down on both vehicles I purchased from a Toyota dealership. Toyota took my word that I was serious about purchasing their vehicle and they took it off the lot. Thats why they earn my business. Hopefully Nelson Honda can take some notes. Good luck.side note:The inconvenience was a 6 hour drive, full tank of gas $$, and lost vacation.

The service department is trash. They put my radio in wrong and then wants to charge me to have it looked at and fixed. Nobody knows anything. Very inconvenient and incompetent. Do NOT waste your time, find another place! Don’t call yourself a service center if you can’t install a simple radio correctly.All of my concerns were addressed before leaving the facility and the service department did not want to accommodate me. Did not have loaners, did not know information, did not want to fix the issue they created, why would I want to go back to have the issue resolved? It was not an environment that made me want to come back.

Went in with my son to purchase his first new car. Jessica was the sales lady we dealt with and it was a great experience. Jessica was very intuitive and great at what she does. There was no pressure from her and she was great with the whole process. Shes also had superior knowledge on the car and all the options and settings for the display(ipad) on the dash. Jessica made what usually is a long drawn out process very time efficient and a great experience overall and her personality and attitude was professional and awesome
Just wanted to share my story!! I stopped by on a Saturday with my mom just to glance at the 2017 Nissan Armada, SUV. Sales Rep, Billy Marshall, walked over and was very pleasant from the beginning. He offered a test drive and offered for me to keep the SUV for the weekend. I fell in LOVE with it! After getting all the details worked out (and believe me, he worked hard on those) I drove off the lot Monday evening smiling from ear to ear! Everyone was nice, but not efficient. Took 2 1/2 hours to do 40 min. Air bag replacement recalled. Appointment was for 11:00 ready at 1:35. Only person who does that job had to go to lunch while I waited.

I purchased a truck about 3 months ago the truck I purchased had a lot of mileage in switch I didnt want to buy because there was no warranty my salesman Billy assured me that if I purchased an extended warranty for 4000$ I would be covered for 24000 miles or 2 years witch ever came first so with that piece of mind I brought the truck less than 6000 miles an 3 months the transmission failed I thought thank God for the warranty took it to be repaired an they say they cant repair it because they werent supposed to sell warranty with that truck but they would be very glad to refund my money at a prorated amount of course why prorated they sold me an invalid warranty so I take the loss I didnt want they truck without a warranty the manager laughed at me an said get an attorney that it was my job to make sure that the warranty would cover the truck WHAT MY JOB THATS HOW YOU JUSTIFY YOURSELF FOR SELLING A INVALID WARRANTY needless to say I have a 400 dollar a month payment an a broken down truck so beware of these scam artists they obviously will do say anything to sell a vehicle an if you do buy know that they say its your job to know if theyre screwing you over BEST ADVISE FIND AN HONEST DEALERSHIP AN ITS NOT THEM THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING NELSON WILL SCREW ANYONE
Would not recommend this place. They were unable to fix my sons power steering after 3 attempts this time would have cost him $900. We put the car on a trailer and taking it to Danville!!!

I had traded in my Civic for a new Civic in 2015. The old crew had been very good with my 1st new Civic. I had always gotten my oil changes and tires with rotations and other up keep on my Civic. I was very satisfied. I received my coupons in the mail and got money off each oil change. Also included were free clean up coupons. Upon the purchase of my new Civic in 2015 I expected the same great service. I stopped receiving my oil change coupons. The service dept. could never figure out why? Same address no change. I also didnt get any coupons to wash my car. They sold me a lifetime free of alignments; which I was told would not be honored. Trina and new crew came to the service dept. and worked with me to get ALL my coupons and my alignments reinstated. I once again was completely satisfied with my service and warranty agreement.Also; the sales dept. had disappointed me with the purchase of my 2015 Civic. My husband had agreed that we would never purchase another car from Nelson Honda in Martinsville. We had had some concerns that we had went back a couple of times after the purchase of my second new Civic. We were just not satisfied with my 2nd Civic. It felt like no one really cared about 2nd time business of a NEW car purchase with extended warranty purchase.Anyway; on 9/5/2020 when I went in for a oil change and tire rotation. I was just looking around while I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I was approached by Billy Marshall a newly employed (within 3-4 months) young man to the Sales Dept. He ask and I explained ALL my dissatisfaction to him of my 2nd new car purchase. I really liked the pre-owned car that Billy had offered me to test drive. However; I knew and shared with Billy that there was NO WAY; I would get my husband to agree to a 3rd new or preowned car. (No matter how sweet a deal) LOLLong story made short; Billy Marshall cared about customer satisfaction.
