The kid discovered there were two locations. I went to Spirit 5 times in two days searching for the Emily costume. 2 days later it was back in stock online. Returned to the store one last time for the elusive necklace. Got this gem of a photo instead.

Last year store had great selections... this year 2021 it sucks... nothing worth going in there forDisappointed 😞 we were so looking forward shopping there.

Halloween is my sons favorite holiday.So any opportunity to pick up a Halloween mask or decoration for him I take. There clearly are limits though. In Tacoma there are two stores nearly side by side the Spirit Halloween and Halloween City its great because you can compare prices except the prices are quite comfortable and the selection is similar though not exactly the same. Having visited both stores I can say that Spirit Halloween had a greater selection and it appeared to be newer stuff not left over from the previous year additionally many of the items from Halloween City appeared to be though Im sure they werent slightly used. I think it was more a matter of just being packed away for a period of timeThe staff at Halloween City didnt have the enthusiasm nor the information that the people at Spirit Halloween.Spirit Halloween also was donating money to Childrens Hospital and the staff was very enthusiastic about ringing a bell which at times was annoying every time a donation was made but it just showed the enthusiasm and was a reminder for people to donate.They have a great assortment of costumes and paraphernalia.

Smaller selection than I was expecting to see.

I love when Spirit opens up for the season. They are well organized, clean and the staff is always readily available to answer questions and help. I shop there this time every year, not only for the upcoming Halloween season, but year round decorations for the home. (I love the spooky)

Fun place great selection

I would give it Zero stars if I could. There is no costumer service. There costumes are flimsy and cheap. I could make a better costume at home. And would rather spend my money elsewhere. Not to mention they are highly disrespectful, and have a baby prez costume that openly mocks our president. Completely disrespectful.

Typical Halloween store. Most everyone wore a mask, but very difficult to maintain social distancing. Store was very warm (interior temp). And of course, high prices.

The animatronics are great. I love stepping on the pads. Great selection too.

Horrible customer service. My 5 year old brother got yelled at and we tried to pay in cash but apparently they dont have 25 dollars for change. Definitely not going back there.

Good selection of Halloween gear and costumes.The displays are really fun to see and seem like they are reasonably priced. Some of the costume pieces are a bit expensive but not the costume sets are priced about what youd find at Target.

They always have really great displays when they first open up this year they had a mini haunted house that you could walk through its very cool taking the kids getting them accustomed with Halloween when they first open their stores wait a few weeks after their store is open for them to get the displays up though.. their prices are really great as well sometimes their costume selection isnt the greatest though I could say Halloween city this year had a unique selection of costumes plus costumes that Spirit had Spirit just has more items I believe

Went there yesterday just to check out what replaced toys r us and this is better. So many selections costumes. Awesome store

It was nice place to get themija costumes & also let them run around and push the buttons of all the scary things. And they donate money which is cool.

The store has no selection. So I went online, found the perfect costume in my size. Paid for Express shipping, 2-3 business days to be here right before Halloween, on the 28th. Ordered on the 23rd and its now the 28th, my order hasnt even shipped. Try to call customer care, keeps telling me to go online and use the online chat. Online chat is unavailable each time i try. The wait time is over 40 mins each time. I waited through 30 mins today only for it a voice recording to tell me Ive waited to long and nobody is available and it disconnected. Ive tried the option for getting a call back, 3 days in a row now. Not one single call back.The lack or organization and direction is making this a headache. If this is the way my ordered are going to be handled, I dont see myself coming back.

One of the gems for Halloween shopping. If you are looking for amazing Halloween costumes and/or decorations this is the place. Only downside is maybe more of larger selection of merchandise to shop from.

The best halloween store Ive ever been to. I visited this store starring from 2012. From then and now they still have the best themes, props, animatronics, costumes and more!!!!!! I recommend to go!

Fun place, my kids always love coming here.

Theyve got a lot of adult and kid costumes, but not much for toddlers and babies. But they have a mix and match area for adults to put together your own costume and good-sized fitting rooms.

They have it set up in a fun way when you walkthrough plenty of things to look at kind of pricey but where else would you find all that spooky stuff

We got all 3 grandkids some great costumes from here. We had a dinosaur fossil costume for our grandson whos 5 and we had our 2 year old grandson that was a little police officer and then we had our 7 year old granddaughter who was a vampiress. They all look so cute in their costumes. The only thing was it was a little spendy.

They seem better prepared product wise this year

Fly by night operation so the stores are dirty but its the only place with good selection for Halloween outside of online.

On october 22,2017 at 4:36pm me and my friends were racially profile and accussed of stealing from this location. After providing reciepts for our items the staff were still rude espicially the manager. They never once apologized or said thank you. Its really sad when your with a group of black women and your wearing sweat pants and your not looking youe best they believe your stealling.And for the manager to chase us down from out of the store just to stop us is crazy. Im really dissapointed i will never spend my money here again

2 items in our huntsman outfit were missing and the shirt was broken. I spent 110 bucks on 2 mediocre costumes and no accessories... Quite spendy if ya ask me!
