Donations days are posted but not honored. they should be accepting donations and putting better items out. allot of their inventory is scratched, broken or just in poor shape. take some pride in your store--your there to make a profit--right?? sk
They are always nice& helpful, I know its for a good cause but whoever is doing the pricing on items is marking them way to high, on my visit last week I noticed many items were marked higher than it would cost to buy it new at Walmart, a lot of the clothing was very over priced, Theres no way anyone wants to pay $5 & higher for a blouse, shirt, pants..whatever that has bad stains or tears, like I said I know its for a good cause but they need to keep in mind that 90% of the people that come to the good will to shop are looking for not only a good bargain but cant afford to buy it new in the 1st place, there are many good treasures to be enjoyed by a new owner but they shouldnt be pricing items so high that there not affordable . Wouldnt you rather sell 10 items to someone who needs them and also helps the people at the goodwill instead of 1 item because prices are so high 1 item is all they can afford . PLEASE!!! Consider lowering your prices back to what they use to be, it will benefit Thank You
I just love this store. I never know what I may find, but most probably it will have an additional discount. I have bought clothes, kitchen items, crystal, fabric, movies and music. Can you tell I am a big fan of the Salvation army and their mission in life
Prices are so much better than they were in the past. Cleaner, such nice people working, and I love the organization of the clothes.
Found adorable Nick nack at a great price!
The people that run this are constantly changing the drop off times and what theyll except, this is absurd. I understand a few of the issues they might face but this cheryrpicking system theyre choosing to use is downright low. This place sucks, plain and simple.
I found some pretty cool stuff.
Now where to try on clothes. Very high prices for a second hand store
A great place to second hand shop.
Nice store friendly assosiates! Love how everything is colorized. It helps if you are needing a certain color and are in a hurry
Favorite place to find treasures among ordinary things
The employees are great !At 10:10 AM not many people in store.
Always find something fun here, the selection lately has been amazing! The best thrift store around. Tons of furniture, clothing and shoes to choose from. Household items, cookware and glassware always stocked well. I almost never leave empty handed. Daily percentage off sales that help bring down prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. A must for anyone needing thrift shopping “therapy!”
It was clean. The clothing sizes are not separated. They separate by color, mens, womens and childrens. Good prices.
I gave a review some time ago so I guess its due for another. Not as dirty and smelly as it used to be, but with the overhaul, came the higher prices. Furniture is OVER priced. Why buy from them when you can go to Habitat for Humanity not far away and get better furniture for less than half of what SA wants. Manager is pretty nice, but the rest of them could use some lessons on how to treat customers.
This is a small to medium sized store. There arent a lot of housewares which is what I like. But they keep the store clean and well organized!
Attempted to stop by after work about 6pm and found the door locked with several other customers outside attempting to shop. After some coaxing an employee to come to the door she told me they close at 6, not 7 as listed online. I informed her she should have someone change the time because all these people out here are confused. “Cassandra” rudely went about saying its not her problem and not “their company” so it wasn’t her problem to deal with. It’s an easy change online, hell even I made a suggestion to google to change the hours.Real stand up people here, can’t even make a website change so 5 different customers don’t waste their time coming to a place that is FALSEY ADVERTISED it’s open.
Nothing interesting not going back
So many wonderful items in well organized store. Only complaint is the smell
Prices are ridiculous now! Not like it use to be when Kelly was manager! Also MANAGEMENT is horrible! She has NO customer service skills! At all! Unfortunate!
Cool thrift store, but there is one important thing to know:ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Keep this in mind before you go in to shop. I have heard so many people complain about this store because they didnt pay attention to this. It is clearly posted! They have neat furniture, interesting stuff, New/comfy mattresses, and most importantly great prices. Not to mention the money goes to a church that does so much good for our community. The staff are friendly and it is clean for a thrift store. Great place to shop.
Clean,friendly, and good prices
Donations are accepted before 5 p.m. Sometimes they dont take donations all day. _ _ A Volunteer (male) delayed to assist me (I should have called; I was too late, ~
Often this location obtains nice furniture, Ive spent more than $1000.00 in the last 45 days here; but often the front staff treat customers like interrupting nuisances. Also after telling them we lost everything in the Camp Fire it was implied all customers were in need and if I wanted special attention or discount to visit the Yuba City office... the Yuba City office promptly told me to go to Chico (where I would find help) basically told me to get lost.
God has provided for our family many many times over the years through this thrift store. Its my go to place for furniture and small stuff. I also enjoy the employees.
Nothing very interesting.
If you look sometimes you can find a good deal. A little pricey for a thrift store. The staff is nice though.
Nice things
I can always seem to find something Ive been looking for. Most of the time their prices are well under Goodwills. New extended hours. Open until 8 pm.
Zero stars if possible. Conviniently or maybe puposefully is near impossible to find where I can file a complaint online.
Kelly is the best manager this store has ever had. Hard working and very good with customer s
Was shocked at the $2.00 price on a plastic holiday cookie tray. I got the same thing at the dollar store for 50 cents. So much for charitable shopping.
Not bad good deals 50% off today even having 50% off special 19th to the 22nd cool if you want to save money
Prices are way too expensive only time theyre good is when theyre 50% off which is not too often
Fun place to shop all kinds of good things love it when they have half off sales
Thrift shopping is fun! So many items to look at, batman prices and helps a good cause
They used to have better prices, but they regularly have ℅ off on certain color tags. Definitely more often than GW.
Very good customer friendly clean and wide range of everything fast check found what I needed good job.
Watch out for you vehicle . Marysville P D was amazing & recovered my the major loss.
I love to get my picture frames her they have some real nice ones for a a doller or so
The people who work there are rude and helpful. They act as though your bothering them when you ask them a question. It makes a person not want to shop there.
A very special place to shop. I enjoy the pleasure of caring people working there.
As very accessible parking prices are pretty good! I usually find something in there I like staff is friendly
Everytime i go in this store they act like im stealing something. Guilt probley because they prices way too high they need to cut it...let me tell u nothing makes people want to steal more than someone following them around the store.
No Returns or Exchanges. Very clean, The people are very helpful.
Very organized and clean. Have bought many things there from kids clothes and shoes, to toys and small furniture.
Found a few things today while browsing. Easy shopping
A bit over priced for a donation.. prob won’t be coming back if they can’t be fair. Sad.
Salvation army seems to have high prices throughout CA and for as bad of condition some things are in its beyond belief. Does t help some of their beliefs on gays is so awful.
They keep in pretty organized, because they yell at children if they leave a toy on the floor. Clothes are not organized well at all.
Typical Thrift store, good deals, not very well kept up
Very clean store with really cool finds
Prices are way too high and customer service was not that great
I dropped off 7 heavy bags of clothes. The guy who was at the back door to take my DONATIONS was useless! Didnt help me with the bags and acted like I was bothering him. Ill never bring anything here ever again! What a douche
Clothing very expensive but there where other things worth the price who would pay ten dollars for a used dress when you can buy it new from walmart same price.
They have a lot of junk to pick through. Youll need lots of time to thrift shop here.
Great stuff and benefits charity.
The furniture prices are way over priced. The prices match prices for quality, which they are not. The prices need to be slashed over 50%. Very disappointed.
Friendly thrift shop...doesnt make everyone feel like a theif
Some clothing items are very expensive. Staff is friendly.
A little pricy, and dirty at that.
