This is a good commissary. They have been working on improvements for a very long time, and there is still a ways to go. They finally replaced those very poor quality self checkout stations with newer ones, but the bagging tables for them are not the rotary style, so they are a little harder to use. The store is a long drive away, which makes getting there hard but definitely makes shopping easy with very few people inside.

This a good place for military shopping it has good prices and almost everything.

The commissary, I must say, servicing active and retired United States military personnel, food and other products are priced way too high. Variety is good. Facility is quite modern very clean and well stocked.

Small, but not crowded. Limited choices. Not easy to get to or return to I-5.

In the military boxes of food would say not for human consumption. Now Freedoms Choice is being sold to our families. They do not order enough me brand to keep the shelves stocked appropriately. The food prices of the items on the shelves is being steadily increased to sell their below mediocre shameful food. It is getting cheaper to buy name brand food out in town like cheese, juice, even water. The Commissarys use to support us and our families but is quickly abandoning integrity for profit.

Good visit. Short list and came out with more than I expected. Helpful checker and bagger, plus others giving me info about renewing my ID card. In and out in a decent amount of time.

Whats not to like about this commissary. We come from San Diego, where going to the commissary was absolutely painful. This commissary has been amazing. No huge crowds and we never have to wait long in line. Also, the employees have always been kind and helpful.

Lets not react with fear. Masks should be optional. Or we say we are unable to govern ourselves and by default give the very essence of freedom away.

The membership requirements here are a little over the top, having to sign away six years of your life for access to tax free booze, food, and Navy Swag makes one feel mildly used. However, family members of full members receive the same benefits which is nice until shore-duty Jodie shows up and ruins it for everyone. All in all a nice place to shop, the booze could be more obviously placed though.

I’m really angry that they just made up the restriction where you can’t enter without a face mask; as a customer, I found out only after I made the trip and was told I could not enter. How are you going to impose rules like that without notification and expect someone who found out only after making the trip to not be angry. Also The produce is mostly rotten.

I love the commissary. This one is decent compared to the others. The staff is positive and the place is kept clean. I wish they had more side walk sales... My only complaint is their hours. The carts are always clean and so are the kids carts.

This is a recently remodeled commissary with a bright appearance and appealing shelf displays. Produce can be a little sketchy but these meat and dairy sections are very good.There is a small deli that makes custom sandwiches. There is also a sushi chef making fresh sushi all day.

Friendly commissary with good selection. My only wish is that they carry *some* organic produce. The store is ALWAYS clean and well stocked.

For the last 3 years my wife and I are having a lot of produce that looks good until you take it home and its not good. Like apples being great outside and brown on the inside. Oranges looks and feels good but dry inside when cut open. Bananas not getting ripe for 2 weeks. Everything else is doing well. The updates are going well and we hope they will be done soon.

Ive been shopping the Smokey Pt. commissary since June of 2000. It has gone through several changes and the most recent one with the remodel is nice. Its great to have the refrigerated items and freezer items behind doors. Sadly our choice of brands has really dwindled. Just like the NEX our choices are more of the higher end brands. There has been an introduction of Freedoms Choice brand which has been great.

Its clean. The checkers are pure sunshine and the deli staff are helpful and informative. Baggers are always pleasant. Produce is pretty good, and variety is excellent, including a growing number of organics and ethnic foods in all departments.

I only took a point away since there is minimal uniform options here. Otherwise there are lots of electronics, clothes, food (attached commissary) and appliances here. There is limited furniture options and no dishwashers /stoves. If you want a a washer/dryer and mattresses, they have it.

At the Navy Commissary you can save a lot of money. Most of the prices are lower than the other grocery stores. And also military or ex-military personnel dont have to pay taxes on their groceries.

Very disorganized!!!Almost every aisle is mislabeled, making it extremely difficult to find desired items. Had to go aisle to aisle to find what I was looking for.I could understand if they just rearranged the store; but it has been that way for at least the last 2 weeks.Compared to Oak Harbor Commissary; this has a very limited selection of items.

Small but has a decent selection and of course the prices are pretty good as well like any other commissary.

Really enjoy this location not too busy and I can get in and out. I wish all the others was like this one as well.

They can never get decent avocados. Theyre either hard as a rock or rotten on the inside. Apples arent always fresh. Otherwise its a great place to shop.

Pretty small as far as NEXs go, but they do have all the essentials for survival

They have some good items, and items you might not find as easily at other local grocery stirea, BUT the prices are not much better than WinCo, the customer sevices isnt there when you request specific items, they give excuses, the produce section is very lacking compared to winCo, and they charge the standard 5% surcharge (tax), so most of the time I shop at WinCo even though I strongly desire to shop the Commissary, and support the Comissary, and local MWR, etc.

Reasonable prices, friendly staff. I wish they had more Scooters, my husband is a disabled Vet and very often cant go shopping with me and waits in the car because all the scooters are in use.
