Stopped at the LC Home Depot to get a new Christmas tree, but the one my sweetie wanted was out of stock. But the young man covering that department asked if we would be interested in one of the other trees at a discount. When that didnt work he called the Maryville store and had them reserve one for us. Got to love customer service.

Staff is always helpful and most are actual professionals in their departments. Especially Electrical and Plumbing. Paint staff was a little crabby but it was a long day dealing with Karens Im sure.They try hard but the self checkouts are always a slow nightmare when I use them. The attendant always has to scan something or reset something. I prefer the regular checkout lanes. Loading guys are great.

Good store spent a couple thousand on washer dryer set. The delivery team was awesome. They set everything up without any damage and everything worked as it should. 👊👊👊

I went to Home Depot to purchase some stuff Saturday morning, when I went to checkout I asked the cashier if they had a military discount. She told me they did and needed proof, so I showed her my drivers license and it clearly states veteran on it and she proceeded to tell me she couldn’t take that cause it has to say service connected on it as well. So I pulled out my VA card to show her and she said the same thing for that as well and then pulls out this book with different ID’s in it that they take and there was picture of the same type of VA card I have. I told her that’s the same ID and she tells me it has to say service connected on it. I then asked if she knew what that meant and she said no, I told her that it means someone that was medical out of the military or was hurt. She said well I’m sorry that’s what we can only take. I’m sorry I didn’t get hurt or medical out of the military. I’m a Veteran regardless. Never going back after that.

I asked a young man in Appliances if he knew where I could find metal clamp for my dryer vent. He was so friendly and helpful! He said, I sure do and Ill walk you over there. He asked if we were having a good day and took us right to it. Even asked if we needed anything else. I think he is a fine example of what an excellent employee should be. Thank you to this young man.

I went in for a natural attacking bee remover. We didnt want to kill them but, they keep swarming us and it really hurts when they sting. Worried about them getting the 9 yr old. They were in the grass at the base of a LG tree. Couldnt mow either. I think they have moved on or died 😔 There was a pretty good choice of houseplants but, not as many tropicals as normal. Also seemed to be pricey on what I did find.

I bought 3 major appliance in December 2020. I knew it would take a few months to get my product. However it took 8 almost 9 months to receive my order. When the stove arrived it was damaged and had to go back so I waited another 2 weeks for my stove. I hate the GE range, it extremely hard to clean and its not the same white as my whirlpool appliances.. Ive had it 1week. I went to my Maryville TN store to see if I could exchange for a whirlpool range. I was met with rude and dismissive attitude. We made and are still making payments on these appliances. I dont understand the policy.

As in most HD stores Ive shopped in, the employees seem to run and hide when they see you heading in their direction. Trying to find out information regarding anything that is special order is next to impossible.

This has to be one of the best Home Depots i have been to. Every time I have visited here it has been a good experience. Everyone is always so friendly. It can be a little busy and they need to open up an extra register or two once in awhile. Other than that the emoyees are great!

Home of the 12 ft skeleton! I prefer Home depot over any other home goods/materials store in town. I like the layout, the product lines, the self checkout and the service. Have shopped here since they opened and dont plan to change my habits.

My 3 star rating goes all to the wonderful staff. Its just that the lumber was horrible!! I had to go through an entire stack to find 6 1x4s that were usable. Prices are high and quality is low. But the guys were very helpful.

Great staff and any thing you want for your house

There are some old heads there. If you manage to track them down they will impart vast knowledge upon you. A 10 minute trip for a piece of plumbing will become a 45 minute discussion about cut off valves and how to rewire your house. Talk to these guys. I talked to one gentleman about PVC and learned a lot. Honestly they shouldnt be working there. They should be teaching at a trade school or whatever those schools are called. Take their knowledge. And buy a drill bit or something to show appreciation. This is the last bastion for practical education.

Purchased a maytag washer and dryer. Spent just over $1,700 dollars. I was scheduled for delivery on 7/13 but that didnt happen. Next I was told that the delivery would be the following week. All I got was the dryer. When I contacted the delivery company I was told that they were waiting for a part to fix a brand new machine. Then I was told that I would receive it on August 6th. On August 5th I contacted Home Depot and the delivery company. According to them I had the washer and not the dryer despite the fact that I have the documentation for the dryer sitting in my laundry room. I demanded a refund for the washer. Went to Home Depot today and the washer had been secured and it wont be released until next Wednesday. #boycott Home Depot.

Just have to give a shout out to Al, Jacob and Wyatt. I had others helping me there but was sent on a wild goose chase. Al and Jacob were very helpful but when they couldnt locate an item I was looking for, they sent me to Wyatt and he took me right where I needed to go...Thanks guys!

Busy... but there was room to move around.I was looking for a particular bedroom corrugated door for a 6-ft door.Apparently these can only be special ordered and 7 ft doors are the current size doors popular now.I was needing this door today because Im having surgery next week and I needed a better door for my bedroom to shut so a very small cat would quit opening my door.So I was not very happy with my visit to home Depot

Bought a weber gas grill, Nobody told us only a20lb propane tank fit in it. Had i known, since nobody has one,, and hard to find, would have purchased a different grill. Nobody at home depot even knew. They need more info on products

I was looking for vanity mirrors, but unfortunately only about 50% of the models displayed were in stock. Sadly, the models I liked were not available.Also, mask use was improved, but Id say its only 80 pct.

Always helpful and store is laid out nicely to find things. I do wish they wouldnt make employees wear mask though. Mask are dangerous and cause serious health problems. People will be suing companies forcing this soon when they discover the dsge that has been done to them.

If you want to go to a store that Supports the military... Do NOT support this store. They only support veterans 3 times a year... And the Maryville, Tennessee Store manager is a joke!!! Completely not helpful and disrespectful to veterans! Taking our business to Lowes!!!!!

I was trying to get a riding lawn mower. Took forever to help then the two I had been looking at I was told they were parked in the wrong place wasnt the right price. But its fun they were chained there. So the one I got was almost twice the money. Took forever to get unlocked and loaded. I dont think any of my big purchases will be there anymore

Awesome experience! The ladies in the garden shop were very helpful, nice and took wonderful care of everything I needed today! I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and checking out my purchases was a delightful task!!!The two ladies at the register oohd and aahd over my doggie face mask and I was able to share with them where I purchased it and gave them a discount code as well - so I think it was a win-win for all of us!!Id definitely go back to do business with the Home Depot Garden Shop again!!!

Home Depot used to be my go-to place, now I find myself at Lowes more and more. This one is horrible, they are never around when you need help but always in your way or blocking isles when you dont need them. They never seem to have what Im looking for anymore and the prices are high.

Always enjoy going there. I usually take my buddy, Barley and everyone want to say hello. I think I get extra special customer service because of him.

I am building a tiny house & have gotten most materials here. Very satisfied with the materials and all the help with the bid room in the pro department. I had an issue with a door knob and deadbolt set. Brought it back several times for multiple issues. Jennifer in returns was such a help with this problem. Shes a great employee and deserves recognition. The way she treated me will keep my business at Home Depot.

Since the pandemic problems, they only have the most expensive refrigerators in stock, except for the lousy brands I dont want. If you want a smaller one in a good brand, you are out of luck. Service is still good.

Unfriendly. My husband and I just finished renovating our home which included multiple trips to the local hardware stores. We visited Home Depot on multiple occasions, all of which, we had very little positive interactions with staff. (There were a couple of exceptions, like Harold) However, I would recommend trying the other stores in the area.

I do not like shopping at home Depot. I can never find what Im looking for and I can never find help to locate it. I prefer Lowes so that I can push a button and someone will come help me.

Disappointed after waiting 1.5 weeks for refrigerator to be delivered to a rental home, the icemaker installed didnt work and now we have to wait another 1.5 weeks for delivery/service techs to return to fix icemaker. Hopefully they will!

In general, I like Lowes better; however, there are usually nice people and good product at reasonable prices.And their tools are really tough to be beat. Lowes offers the Veterans discount YEAR AROUND, home depot doesnt. That is important to us.

We bought a hundred year old house with the intention of remodeling each and every room. We went early on a Monday morning to start planning the reno on the kitchen. We were mowed down by employees. One of which charged straight at us and my mom went to move out of his way, seeing the impending collision, and knocked my little boy over. I caught him and tried to get him back in the cart and make sure he was okay, with a total of THREE HD EMPLOYEES inching closer, impatiently waiting for us to move and NONE of them asking if he was alright. We left a cartful of items right there in the aisle and left. This was in the open section near Kitchen, where theres room to move without causing harm to customers. We wont be back, so I dont need an apology (dont think Id get one), but I want to stress that companies should appreciate customers. Manners DO matter. Caring for other human beings, matters.

I ordered a Christmas tree online, payed for it with pay pal, and notified HD what curbside number I was parked in. In about 3. Minutes, out walks Adam with my tree. He checked my ID and put the tree in the back, thanked me and went back to work. The most difficult part was locating the curbside pick-up spots! Thanks Home Depot for making it so easy!

Absolutely awesome people work here forget normal corporation’s training, these guys almost always nail it. Whatever problem I have had to fix they knew what I needed.I only go here for my construction needs.

Overall the store is okay depending on who is working there. for example if youre in the pro section and the two older ladies are working in the register things move quickly and theyre very pleasant. In the pro section the phone call sales take forever. Finding associates to help you load onto your truck goods is almost impossible. In the customer service desk most of the employees will talk to you and not even look at you in the face. And in the checkout lane near the self checkout I dont even go there since I had many issues with those employees previously. Overall its an okay store, like I said and it really depends on the associates that are working that day. Ive had once an associate pass by me, I asked her for assistants to find something, and she told me I would help you but Im done for the day so good luck with that and laughed on her way out. I think home Depot needs to do a better job in training their employees on customer service.
