Great people. Very patient even when customers are not. Very friendly employees that make you feel comfortable. You will not have a better experience any where else. I don’t know what they get paid but it’s not enough.

Awesome customer service, Awesome selection and most of all AWESOME VALUE!! Seriously one company wanted to charge me over $350 for the same glasses I got here for $65!! Check this place before you buy anywhere else...I am sure glad I did!

Was given new patient paperwork by a male working and told him that I had been to target in the past just moved her from California. Before I could say anything more didnt they tell you we were full came out of his mouth. He then proceeded to haggle me about moving to town from California white i was doing my paperwork. The dr took me back (most thorough appointment ive ever had) then walked me out to the male. He told me he had to finish with the lady he was with. 10 minutes later sit down and another customer walks in and he proceeds to then tell me I will have to water till he helps that person. Asked for him to check me out for the dr appointment and I would co.e back another time. He checked me out and then still proceeded to talk acropolis about California and those moving here then as I was leaving im just messing with you about all that. Took my prescription somewhere else and will not be back.

O my gosh. Best customer service I have received in ages. I was full desperado mode. I woke up with pink eye. I had no more contacts and no glasses (haven’t worn them in years and I know I got the lecture later). I needed a same day eye exam just so I could get something going. I showed up for my appointment but there was miss communication and I wasn’t scheduled! I was so sad because I didn’t want to have blurry vision for weeks. The staff said the Dr. already left for the day and they called her to see if she could come back and she did! They were super nice and went totally above and beyond. Highly recommend! Great experience. A+++
I left there very frustrated. The people in the front were very friendly and helpful, but the doctor was very frustrating to deal with. I went in there because I ran out of my correct prescription of contacts (-4.25) which I have been wearing for years, and she did an annual eye exam and said that I was now a (-3.75), which is impossible because the old ones that I had been wearing were a (-4.00) and werent strong enough. I could also tell during the eye exam that the -3.75 was not sharp or strong enough. She kept trying to put me in a -3.75 and when I pushed it, she she said that she would definitely not put me in anything above a -4.00, and finally agreed to put me in at least that. She also informed me that I had an astigmatism is my left eye, which I also already knew. My old brand of contacts helped with that. When she gave me a sample pair of my new contacts, it wasnt a brand that helps with an astigmatism. I asked her if she would be giving me a brand to help with the astigmatism, and she said no, because you dont notice those kinds of things as much in the real world as you do during your eye exam. ???She definitely didnt care about anything that I had to say, and I left feeling like I was worse off than before. I have been putting off going to the eye doctor for a long time because its expensive, and now I feel like I wasted that money only to be worse off than before. I will never go back to any Target optical, especially this one, and I would advise everyone else to steer clear as well.
I really enjoyed Dr. Conway! She took the time to find the right contacts for my astigmatism which made a huge difference. Definitely more thorough than any of my previous eye exams. Also less expensive if you’re paying out of pocket.
I saw Dr. Conway has great reviews on her personal Google page but just want to chime in over here to say shes quick and professional, but took time sure my new prescription would work for me given the issues I was having. The staff in the store were also very professional. Because I needed glasses ASAP I wound up not purchasing there and they were totally fine with that and not pushy. Great experience!
Dr. Conway was so easy to work with. Shes helped me with transition from blurring vision due to cataracts. The staff is awesome.
I saw Dr. Dutton today and I left feeling completely appreciative. He explained the process to me that has been done for 30 years and never once explained until today. We are trying out some new methods and samples of 3 different contacts. The staff was so wonderfully friendly and working so diligently trying to take care of the crowd that had collected while I was there. I was a great experience.
Talked to Travis when I came in super laid back polite guy. I came in right when the Dr. Conway was leaving but Travis went back to talk to her and she took me back for a contact prescription at 415 without a appointment. Took great care me love the contacts will definitely recommend to others and be back my self.
The staff is hard working and knowledgeable. Very friendly customer service folks. The doctors take the time to make sure you are taken care of. Very reasonable rates and they accept most insurance.
Dr Conway was extremely nice, very thorough and informative. And I love my new glasses!
I always have a great experience with Maryville Target optical!! My 3 year old son is a new glasses wearer and when we went to pick out frames, the staff there was just wonderful with him!! They were patient and knowledgeable. I had some confusion on my insurance coverage and they were able to call into my insurance and get everything sorted out while we tried on glasses. I had to go back about a month later to get the frames adjusted (they were crooked because they were in the hands of a 3 yr old boy for a month) and they fixed us right up!! They even put new nose pads on there just to go the extra mile. I highly recommend the Maryville Target Optical folks!!
I had my first eye exam there over the weekend and it was terrible. I had been going to another eye doctor for about 13 years now and I love them, but I wanted to try out Target Optical because theyre closer. It was the worst eye exam experience of my life. My vision has declined since my last yearly exam because I now work a desk job where I am in front of computers all day, and then I go home to do school work for the masters degree Im working towards - more computers. Im at around -4.25 with contacts now. Anyway, the eye doctors kept telling me how awful my eyesight was, shaking their heads, saying I took a big jump in my vision, and blamed it on a possible eye condition or my immune system BEFORE ever even looking at my eyes and AFTER hearing about my job and school changes! They literally repeatedly told me my eyesight was terrible at least 20 times. Im not deaf or stupid....I can hear and understand you the first time. The one who does all the exams wasnt even listening to me.. Ive never been talked to that way during an eye exam. Its rude and unprofessional to talk to your patients that way. I wanted to leave within minutes of walking behind their door due to their comments and I was stuck back there for over an hour because they took back TWO more patients while I had the puff of air thing done (which takes only a moment) so i had to just sit and wait for them during my scheduled appointment. I just left angry, upset, and in a terrible mood. Ill order my contacts when I have tried out this trial pair, and then Ill probably never go back.
The new store manager was very helpful and provided excellent customer service when a misunderstanding occurred. He was quick to resolve the issue and very professional! Excellent all around!
I went to Target Optical this past Sunday and Travis helped me out with getting a new set of frames from the Twill & Tweed brand! I have been going here within the past year or so. The staff is awesome and very professional! It feels like family there!
I had such a great experience with the optical team this morning. Im here visiting family and I forgot to bring my contacts with me so I brought my percription in to buy a small pack since I change them out every two weeks and they only had the large pack. I explained my situation to Chrissy and Travis so chrissy offered to go look and see if they had any sample pairs for me, turns out they had some. I offered to pay for them and said not to worry about it and gave them to me for free! Thank you to Chrissy and Travis they both gave amazing customer service and made my day! Thank you again!
Doctor “Con”-way, is definitely a con. She’s extremely rude, very unsocial and all around just not fit to be in any kind of medical profession. If you were going to be such a bitty, why didn’t you choose a job that didn’t entail so much social work? I won’t ever go back, she’s crude and I’ll take my business to a more professional place. Save your time and money, go to a real eye doctor if you have legitimate issues. I guess when someone like me, with -6.50(at only twenty-three years old) vision walks in all they see is a money bag. You guys really suck.
I had an employee who was looking to make an eye appointment but was having trouble verifying her insurance. Travis went above and beyond, making numerous phone calls to help her figure out the problem. If youre looking for somewhere with unbelievable customer service, this is the place to go! The doctors are super nice .Chrissy,Mike,and Brent are three of my favorite people Ive ever dealt with .Been going here for years and will continue to go here even though I have moved to Knoxville .Really great people and comfortable/good service .

Dr. Conway gave a very thorough exam, more than from previous optometrists. She found scar on one eye that Ive had probably for years that other Drs. failed to find .Highly recommend her, and the staff in the vision center are great also.

Had an appointment for eye contact training. Due to a traffic jam I was unfortunately 10min late. I understand at tight schedule has to be maintained. So before driving all the way to Maryville from sevierville I called and asked if they would still take me even though I was a few min late. I was told it was not a problem and that they could still work me in. So upon arrival I checked in only to be told that they could not bring me in and would have to reschedule. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!??? I have arrived at an appointment with Dr Conway 5min early and didnt get taken back until 15min later but they cant allow me to be just a few minutes late!!! You all are ridiculous and have received the last dollar from you guys will ever get. Id rather be blind then go back to to target optical!!!!
Today is May 11th. Ive been waiting since April 9th for a trial pair of contacts and they have yet to show. I have now been without contacts for two weeks (finally run out of my last pair) and this place doesnt seem to care or have any desire to do anything about it. I had a great first experience a year ago but not the place has gone down hill. Probably time to find a new place for my optical needs.
Went here because Wal Mart said it was in my network. Has been a bunch of run around since then. Doctor is not very helpful and the folks up front seem concerned with numbers more than people
Aweful customer service! the exam took like 15 min he does about 10% of what other eye dr do. and gave me the wrong script! go to Walmart for a real eye exam she checks EVERYTHING

Horrible customer service. EVERY time I try to call it just keeps ringing and no one ever answers the phone. It has been 3 weeks since they placed the order for my glasses and theyre still not here. Theres nothing special that needs to be done to them. My first pair on took about a week or so.
The doctor was creepy. Took an hour and a half once I was back for exam. He switched my brand of contact from oasis to cooper vision and my eyes have never hurt so bad. Will never go back. I would have given 0 stars but it wouldnt let me.
They answer the phone 20% of the time...maybe!
