Expensive but does have good product. They used to have really good specials but not very good the last few months. Liked when we received paper adds. Im not very good with computers .

HyVee is a good place to find health market items that you may not find other places. I enjoy trying different items such as red lentil pasta today. The East store in Mason City has a fantastic kitchen with a variety of cuisine. It also usually has more of certain supplies such as electronic wipes for cleaning. The lay out of this store is backwards from the West location and it takes me a little longer to find what I am looking for. The staff are friendly and courteous.

Hy-Vee east Wine & Spirits manager Scott Miller is top notch. We own Diamond Oak Events and recommend that all our clients order their alcohol, soda and ice from him for wedding receptions hosted a our venue. He consistently provides 5 star service to us an our clients.

The produce wasnt very impressive, there was old wilted produce on the shelves. To be fair I was shopping at 6:30-7am and there was someone working in that area hopefully to restock with fresh produce. I wanted to buy a Grub Hub gift card and the cashier, Steve told me it is against federal law to pay for it with a credit card-only cash or debit card is accepted. Thats not correct and I Google it and told him that. He said it is store policy. If thats the case, the store should update the policy.

Consistently well kept and managed. Regularly have issues with the self checkout machines.

Hy-Vee has something for everyone if youhave diet restrictions check out the Gluten-free or low carb entrees & deserts.If you dont believe in diets, go big or go home in the bakery! If something is not the way you want it ask the bakery and theyll make it the way you want it.*Bonus,,, stock up in the meat department when they have sales.* Pro-tip; They will also spiral cut your ham!

Love that there is a Starbucks within the store...as far as the store itself everyone is friendly, courteous and extremely helpful

The girl was kinda rude, I didnt catch her name, nobody helped me bag my groceries, the manager was right there also, and I had quite a bit! This is why I go to Austin, but was in Mason for appts. So it was convenient.

This is my favorite of the two locations in town. The store is clean, and the people are helpful behind the counters. The cake decorators are great here too.

My husband and I had our wedding anniversary yesterday. We stopped here to pick up a whipped topping cake to share. I love the chocolate cake and he likes the vanilla. I picked out a marble cake. We got home and cut into it and its a plain white cake. Pretty disappointed. For the price we paid, I had hoped we got the cake we chose, has the marble sticker on top and on the barcode sticker. I was looking forward to the chocolate in the cake and was let down. Including pics.

Perhaps better before the days of COVID, but there is still an amazing selection and highly helpful staff.

Mason City East.Walking in the front entrance of the store, and the smell of the fish and seafood dept., in the back of the store, is the first thing I smell.That front entrance is right next to the Italian and Chinese kitchen, too.I refuse to buy any fish from Hy-Vee.

Always a challenge to not get more things than what you planned.

Ordered breakfast and it was amazingly slow. There were three orders ahead of us and it took 30+ minutes to eggs and bacon.

Manager was told last week of the nasty mess in the chocolate milk cooler. A week later the mess is still there! Shame on this store!

Work here so of course I think its great! But really good people work here who work hard and do their best for their truly great customers. Truly proud to be a small part of such a great place. Easy parking and clean environment.

Quick check out well stocked for most items pharmacy staff very helpful I am always asked if I need help finding products at least once. Very clean and well maintained. The credit union is still closed but opening soon. Take out food is available.

Hyvee East is a good store to go to. Prices on Steam anywhere you go it doesnt make any difference which store do you go to. It a little bit Spencer its closed where I live.

I have a mixed experience with Hy-Vee every time I visit there. They have an atmosphere there, you can feel it when you walk in. Sometimes there isnt a helpful anywhere in the store. Other times there are smiles everywhere. Its always a toss up.The prices at Hy-Vee are higher than most stores, but you sacrifice low prices for not having to go to Walmart.

Took cans in just after they cleaned the room. That is nice - that it gets cleaned mid day. Machines worked well today. Often they do not.

One of the worst customer service bunch I’ve ever dealt with. The pharmacy is lazy. Go elsewhere.

Hy Vee had some really good sales this weekend. A lot of $.90 items...party pizzas, bratwurst...to name a few. Hy Vee is the place to go!

Can deffinently tell a difference between the two hyvees in mason city. However, when it cimes to clenliness and manners from the cashiers, its worth the few extra minutes diving to avoid this hyvee, unfortunately.

Hy-Vee is a one stop shopping store with everything from fresh plants and flowers, go hot served deli food. This is one of the few remaining places to redeem cans and bottles.

I am used to getting big fluffy, air raised glazed donuts that melted in the mouth and now they seem to belNot so light, and dont come close to melting in your mouth.

I live so close Im here just about every day. The employees are always wonderful and friendly. Im amazed at the wide variety available, because where else in Mason City can you regularly find fresh dragon fruit?

I was very disgusted with my last visit to Hyvee East. I shop for my Parents and myself at the same time. I do have a full cart each time. This past week when checking out no one came to bag the groceries. My check out person was very nice and did a great job. I did stop a young man an ask him to get a 2nd cart to put bagged groceries in. He did go get one and then walked away rather than help with bagging up all these groceries. He went to the next lane a helped with bagging a few items for that customer. He looked my way again but didnt bother to help.

The one in Mason City didnt have ant jumbo cookies, that was a bummer

My parents order their groceries from this Hyvee location every couple of weeks. We are able to drive up call the phone number given and the whole set of groceries are delivered right out to our van. What a great service! So thankful they offer this and the service is always fast and friendly. What a huge time saver! Thanks

My Mother had placed an order for 2 fruit trays and a seafood tray to be delivered today at 5 pm for our family Christmas get together. At 5:50 pm she had to call to see where they were. She was told driver was on the way .-- At 6:15, I called as they still were not there and everyone had showed up. I was put on hold a couple of times so they could check it out. First I was told they could not find the order, then I was told it had been marked for pickup, not delivery. Order finally delivered about 6:40. Paper taped to trays stated delivery.- Trays were nice, but very disappointed in the service, thus the 2 star rating..

I have lived in the neighborhood of the store for 3 years and walk there frequently I find personally that the customer service is very helpful as long as you are respectful to them and let them know what you need. I also think that the night shift overnights staff are the most helpful guys youll see. I wish they were more affordable as it is my only option for groceries in the neighborhood but they try to compete and they have weekly sales
