We were in Mason City from out of town and came in for a tux fitting. This ended up being one of the best shopping experiences ever. Moorman Clothiers has a wide variety of high quality clothing for both men and women ranging from lululemon to tuxes. The owners and their staff were extremely genuine and did a fabulous job of recommending items without the classic pushy salesman approach. We were happy to find out that they have a location in Ames as well as an online store. 10/10 would recommend this store.

Top notch service and very friendly.

I had a terrible experience here. The lady who was in charge of measuring women was very rude. I asked her if I can get the dress waist smaller, she said we dont do that. I asked if they alter skirts and before I even said what exactly to alter, she said we dont do that. The whole time, she said we dont do that for at least 6 times before I told her what exactly I need. To be honest, I got an Asians are not welcomed here vibe.

We had a great experience for our wedding! There was a last minute issue but they were very attentive and willing to work with us to make sure we were pleased! Overall very happy!

If youre just passing through and youre looking for overpriced IOWA souvenir merch, and you want to be hovered over and hear the staff whispering a out your presence with an air of desperate salesman curiosity, this might be the place for you. If you want a suit, someone attentive and possibly knowledgeable about current fashion, they may very well be a good pick. You can get IOWA merch elswhere and feel more welcome.
