Great franchise and this one is ran well. Just gotta go into it knowing that their tools are cheap for a reason. Quality and reliability sometimes are luck of the draw or not there at all. That should be a given. Just like dolartree stuff isnt always going to be quality but for many things it gets the job done for way less.

I drive through the lot on sunday, sent a request for more info about a jeep they had on the lot. Still no response by Tuesday, so I went out there. I didnt get to test drive it though- no brakes. If Im buying a car, Id like to drive it first.

Found the tool I needed very fast at a reasonable price.

Normall have great experience at local Harbor Freight but cashier Sara today was very argumentative and barraded customer for information. I’m in my 30s but if she did that to customers that are older such as many of the customers you get, that would be so disrespectful. Customer service need to be taught and never acceptable to argue with your customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mostly quality tools, if you buy the really cheap stuff, its VERY cheap, get the more expensive option and itll be good. Great staff thats very friendly and always willing to help. Dont buy the jack stands.

This store is usually great and has whatever you need. I’m trying to buy an air compressor and they didn’t have one in stock. Their only shipping option is to pay 100$ and get it a week and a half at the earliest. They can’t tell me when they’ll get more in stock and they won’t even put my name on a list. I have to just keep calling every time the get a truck to they can hold one for me. I’m fine to wait but I’m dissatisfied with this procedure. Very inconvenient.Edit: they literally won’t answer the phone. I’m about done with this place. It’s literally be 25 min. I called customer service and they can’t even get them to answer the phone. This is either horrible service or something major is going happening that way more important.

Much better than Northern tools and equipment they have more stuff and better service Northern tools and equipment has bad service and their prices are too high they dont seem to care about service anymore so I moved all my business to harbor freight

Made a short list of things and coupon items I wanted to pickup from our local Harbor Freight. Stopped in today during a slower time. I had 3 different staff members offer to help or answer questions. With there help I got everything I came in for plus more. Great experience.

While Harbor Freight does not have the typical brand names, I have always found them adequate for my purposes. The store staff are helpful and knowledgeable.With there recent sale, I was able to get $ 450 worth of tools for $185. Everything works well. When I have problems, they exchange without hassle. For the amateur, the inventory of HF is perfect.

I find that some of the employees working on the sales floor have no idea 521 about the location and selection of the items sold there. I asked an employee about stair gauges, and if they had any, and the employee had no idea what I was talking about.Ill return because the prices for cheaper tools are good, but it wont be for the customer service, because there virtually is none. Harbor Freight and Dollar Tree are very similar: long lines, one worker doing the registers, four other workers scattered about stocking the shelves and other random tasks, and a manager chilling in the office.

Ok tools at a good value. You probably wouldnt use these if you wrenched for a living, but for the average guy working on his own stuff there a decent.

Decent tools. Some are definitely better than others. Great staff and know their products well.

If you’re going to post signs on the door and just inside saying that patrons are required to wear masks to shop, then you’ve got enforce it. Five people in line behind me, 3 not wearing masks and the clerk said nothing when they came to check out.A sign doesn’t protect your employees and patrons. An enforced policy does.Your customers aren’t going to ditch you for Walmart or online. They come here for discounted tools. Trust me, they will come right back when you enforce this. Do the right thing.

One of the only places I will buy my tools anymore. They have great sales and prices all of the time. They also have friendly staff. Another great thing is the hand tools they carry lol come with a lifetime warranty which is very simple. Unlike some other places that you have to fill out paper work and wait forever for a replacement, here you walk in with your broken part and walk out with a new one. Great service and love doing business here.

If you need a particular tool, and you need it quickly and cheaply, grab it here. If you’re going to use it all day every day, get it elsewhere. Nothing here is super high quality, but it’s quick and cheap. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful and the store is clean and well organized. There’s usually some kind of deal going on, so keep an eye on that.

It was like an adult male candy store!! I didnt know where to go 1st! And the ladies working were Awesome! They checked with everything I bought for a coupon that lowered my cost tremendously!! It was worth the 1 1/2-2 hour drive just to go there!! Thanks!!!

This place is like a candy store for the Tim Allen type guy. The tools are not expected to be on a par with professional grade tools like Rigid or Snap-On, but they are affordable and a good value. For most people, they are more than adequate. They have tools and boy toys that i cant find anywhere else. I could spend a whole afternoon here while the wife is shopping somewhere else.

This outlet in Mason City is new but the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful if theyre not sure. Better to say, lets figure it out than, no.

Its such a nice place to go to. People say hi to you as soon as you walk in and ask if you need anything. Plus if you cant find something then they will take you to the item themselves instead of just pointing to where its at. The prices are reasonable as well!

Cashier was ditzy and must have been new. Took forever to check out. Was told i could only buy 1 of an item as they only had 2 and it would mean there wouldnt be a cart left in the store. They said they will honor the sale ad when they get more...we shall see.

Way too big considering the selection of tools. Three employees couldnt tell me if they had what I needed. One told me that Id have better luck at Menards. What!!!!

Very helpful with finding items I needed. I find walking into Harbor Freight is fraught with danger. I find many items I didnt know I needed before walking in. The good news is the prices are so reasonable I can go ahead and purchase at least a few of the items on an impulse without feeling bad about it.

Pretty good stuff, for the price, and great range of things available. Its unfortunate that, by its very nature Harbor Freight seems to always be either overstaffed or understaffed (I always either have several employees asking if I need help, or take longer waiting for the single cashier to check people out than I do looking for what I want...)

Went in to look at air tools, found what I thought I wanted. Looked for accessories for it, but they didnt have any. Okay, I put it back, choose a different air tool, again, limited accessories, none of which I needed for that tool. So, could a guy make it 3 strikes, yep, went with an hand sander, takes 3 1/2 x 6 sandpaper, do you think they would have it. NADA! And to think, I had a little slip of paper in my hand to upgrade my air compressor, well, I walked out with nothing. Having said that, they have a lot of stuff, some of which I have bought, so yeah, youre gonna find something there, maybe just not what you went in for....better luck next time!
