I love this mall but lets be real its on life support and it’s gonna die soon. Everything’s closeing and you can hear an echo thats how few people go there. I heard its gonna get demolished for an apartment complex... like we really need more off those *rolls eyes*

The sunrise mall used to be great, but when the movie theater left, it started to go down hill, Macys is still there every body else is gone. Sad😓

Been coming here for years and the past 2/3 years everything has been slowly closing which is so sad. It’s not the same and nobody really comes here anymore. I saw a few more people around the holidays, but I recommend going to another mall.

This mall is very nice. A comfortable atmosphere and enjoyable for appropriate ages and up. Would like to see more stores though. The mall is very clean.

There isnt much to see here anymore. Many stores have shut down. Half of the second floor is empty.On a positive note, it has a very active Dave and Busters. Sears, Macys and Forever 21 are still going strong.

It’s clean and was quiet, but too quiet. Lots of vacant stores, yes everyone loves shopping online but what about interacting with others? seeing your item in person? people watching? One day the malls will all be gone.

I’ve lived in Long Island for almost a year and honestly never discover this place until about a month ago. Pretty solid selection of stores and pretty open as well so minimal risk of congestion which I appreciated. Will definitely stop by again to check out some more stores.

Mediocre mall. I grew up in the area and it was great! Much to be desired these days. Only go when its necessary. Dave and Busters otherwise.

I hate to give this mall one star but, unfortunately under the circumstances I have no other choice. For those of you who vividly recall the source on Old Country Road in Westbury and how that was a thriving mall and THE hangout spot back in the day to watch businesses dwindle down one store after the other going out of business to the point where eventually nothing was left but an eerie feeling (walking around in astonishment of what used to be), vast amounts of space where stuff used to be, as well as the memories of my peoples childhoods. (Every. Single. Store. went out of business) this is EXACTLY the direction the Sunrise Mall is taking. One store after the next is leaving every time I go there something else is out of BUSINESS! NOW SEARS is gone! The inevitable fate of this mall is extremely 😔 sad, the Sunrise Mall just like the source used to be one of the best places to go.

The place was nice and clean, competitive prices, plenty of parking and wheelchair access. Only downfall was the fact that, because of Covid, there was very limited stores open!!!!! 😞😞

This was my first time at Sunrise Mall...and Ive lived on LI for 49 years. What a beautiful place. Had to run in to pick up a quick gift that wasnt at my local mall and ended up walking around until it closed. High points were Journeys and Spencers.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall - Mall has a nice vibe to it. Would like to see more stores in the mall (lots of empty spaces).Avoid peek times - it can get quite crowded.

It isnt the great mall it used to be. There are alot of pricey stores only the well off can afford. In between the dollar store and video arcade.I happen to enjoy the clearance Rumor & Flanagan store w its many sales on furniture, and bedroom furniture, and many other items.

Workers and shoppers were very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was on vacation.

Unfortunately its closing soon, so it was empty. Not many stores left. The bright spot is the puppy store, got to play with puppies today. 🙂

I had to make a quick run to one of the stores for a Christmas exchange. It was on the quiet side (good for social distancing but not good for retail). Its always been kept nicely there but over time we have all noticed more vacancies. I was not surprised to read in the paper today that the mall had been sold to a group that does redevelopment of retail spaces. It will be interesting to see what changes await. The location is great but the shopping mall concept may need some updating

Its sad to see so many stores closing..but I still go there cause they have the only Sears left on Long Island and I love there Koi pond ..beautiful fish.

I know they are renovating stores but it is completely empty. They have only two places to eat in the food court. all the good stores are gone its really sad I hope they finish whatever project they got going on so people in the community can go shop again

The worst Mall on this planet earth..!!! They have nothing inside most of the stories are closed or out of business... They really need to upgrade this Mall instead of building more condos. Do better for the Massapaqua/Amityville community.

I used to enjoy going to this mall, because it is small, not like Roosevelt Field or Smithaven where you need a map to find a store, however, more & more stores are gone, a little eerie feeling.

Updated from years ago has Macys & Sears one side of mall to the other .Great restrooms, cleanliest Ive seen and an array of stores from clothing to technical retail itemsI found an old photo of my old Time out game room which was so hot in the 80s & is just reminded me of my childhood .Excellent mall in Massapequa, NY

Went to Macys, dissapointed. Used to enjoy Sears tools, thats not what it used to be. More good reasons to shop on line.

Its a mall. Malls have stores inside them. This is a decent size mall so there are many stores you can visit once inside. Youre welcome

The mall is dead. Stores are nor appealing.

This is a great place to shop in a local setting. Smaller than the other mall in the county, there are fewer stores, but theres plenty of diverse shopping available in this two story structure.The food court is barren but for two stores, so if you dont like cheese steak or sushi you can still visit Svaro outside the court for pizza or other Italian food.

One of the best keep Mall I have been to. Very clean and hassle free easy to navigate.

Ive always love Macy since I was a small child shopping there with my mother and father it brings back such childhood memories and the quality things You have at Macys store I will always shop there !

I guess they no longer open early for walking. Other malls allow this.. Got there at 1030 hoping to walk and they were closed.

This mall is pretty good, but the only issue I have is the gnat issue. Not many people notice but I notice that there are an abundance of gnats that get in my face or fly around the food areas. I read up and gnats are attracted to body heat, so malls are pretty good breeding grounds if not keept up.Over all a good experience, just see what may be causing the gnats and maybe it would feel less gross around. Other than that, I love this mall!

Sunrise Mall has a lot of deep memories for me. It was a part of my childhood where we would go to have fun meet friends and relax. I was saddened that the once prestigious beautiful mall is definitely showing its age. The once waiting list if stores to get in the mall are gone .As it is half empty. The crown jewel the house fish are still there do I was happy to see that. But they to were showing age. I realize that the name has changed and hopefully this is a transitioning phase that will bring it back to life. My father was head of security for many years and was very proud of His mall. He kept it safe. He was smiling and had tears in his eyes as he watched me from heaven.

I like this mall; lots of parking and out of the way. Its sad that a lot of stores have closed. Good for walking workouts!

So sad looking now. Barely any stores left open. Found Victoria secrets is no longer there. Yankee candle is closing. The only place that looks like its holding strong is bath and body works and Im sure thats because of all of the hand soaps and sanitizers they sell. Home goods even had a lot of empty spaces on all of the shelves. It was sad looking.

The mall was steady busy, not overtly, because a few stores were closed. They have a koi pond in the center of the mall near Sears, which I thought ALL Sears were closed due to being out of business, but this Sears is alive and striving! The pond is nice to look at and has an abundance of fish. Most of the stores are open, but not all.

Get the extra chicken$1.99. Well worth it. Service is a little slow. I suggest calling it in before going. Food is consistently good. Service no issues. Located in the Sunrise Mall. Top Level by Ruby Tuesdays.

There are too many empty stores and no interaction with people from any distance. I did see a few security guards but they were just joking with a custodians.

It was runned down and outdated in comparison to the other large malls of Long Island. The surrounding area isnt especially big, either.

H&M and Forever 21 were the best.

Desolate - most of the stores are gone - when Walmart left and the theater left (they were the life blood of the mall) - everything around them slowly died.

Nice area to spend some time. Have several stores I like to visit. Never have trouble getting in and out of stores but usually go during week when they open since I work nights.

Not the cleanest, coolest mall but, has a great variety of stores. From clothes to necessities. Definitely a place to check out.

Ive been going to the Sunrise Mall (Westfield Mall) in Massapequa since I was kid back in the 70s and 80s. Especially in the 80s. It was a hangout spot for my best friend and I. Im hopeful that the new owners will bring the Mall back to the way it was, or at least the way it should be at this day and age. Its sad to see so many empty stores because of whats happened prior to and during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Okay mall. Lots of the stores seemed to be closed or have went out of business. Only one or two restaurants in the food court. Okay enough experience, but seems to be a dying endeavor.

Love the gym but could you some updates...more specifically the weights. Theyre old and dusty looking and some even have broken pieces off of them. But still good gym, even through covid

New store manager is really changing up the place! Will def be back to shop here & to grab some fragrances at those great prices!

My Gym is within the Sunrise Mall so I walk through the mall from time to time. The Mall has a lot of good stores.

The Massapequa Mall was very clean and plenty of dispenser all over. Sad not to many people were there. Very good sales and people did try to keep there distance. I wish more stores were open.

Mall was sold...lots of empty stores but good to walk indoors during pandemic.

I think mall looks great. Improved immensely from past. Not overcrowded like other malls and great selection of stores. Very clean also. Security guards always present. Good to shop at mall that is not so huge and hectic. Love Sunrise mall again.
