Ive been having a hard time since purchasing my used car here. Tons of problems with the vehicle. Its hard to get fit in for service after your purchase. Service appointments are 30 days out. My vehicle started leaking after my first service appointment. It will be 30 days for a follow up for them to look at the leak.

I met with a gentleman there whom blew me away I will call to get his name proper Ive since forgot.. he was the best car salesman and pretty fast at getting through the terrible paper detail but word for word thoroughly I was impressed. He showed me the screens when he noticed me squint and he happened to like a good Dior Savage .. fellas both he and I have this cologne its professional and sells it self especially dealing with people. Cool and collective like the atmosphere here at Sutton WORTH THE 35 MILE TRIP for a no.. thats says alot ..

#IN664044 Unfortunately I have to give a one star for service. I had to get a new transmission installed. It took about three weeks to get it done because of warranty issues and communication problems. Three weeks after getting that work done I have a light pop on my dashboard relating a problem that might be connected to my engine. My car is completely wobbly and feeling off.Sutton tells me I have to wait a month to get it in to be looked at. I can’t take it to any other shop because it’s engine related. I tried lol. They won’t dare touch it. Instead of them getting me in to fix it ASAP because it’s related to there work I have to wait and pray my car doesn’t completely shut down while driving for a month. That’s not professional. The service people (Eric) are great to talk to but this having a person wait a month after being paid for a major job is a poor choice and decision making. To some extent I believe it’s a dangerous decision.Therefore I can’t recommend anyone bring a car here for service because you may get stuck with a major engine problem and have to wait a month for it to be resolved while praying you don’t get injured or in an accident because of it.

Was looking for a truck, Anthony was able to get to the point with the numbers and provided everything necessary to make the process smooth. Came to the dealership the same day and left in about 2 hours with the new vehicle. This included everything from test driving to transferring my belongings from the old vehicle. Highly recommend Sutton Ford. If you dont want to deal with dealership drama and the back and forth, dont waste your time and go directly to these guys.

Had a great experience purchasing a work truck from Sutton Ford. At first, I was a bit surprised at some of the non-negotiable add-ons they have for all cars at this dealership. Although I had some other options lined up at other dealerships, Shane and Chuck in sales were reasonable in the negotiation and we were able to come up with a good deal for both parties. I would certainly consider them for a future purchase.

I brought my 2018 Ford Explorer in for an oil change and had forgotten that there was a recall on it for the roof rack brackets. Well to my surprise they took care of my recall at the same time so I wont have to bring it back for that recall. That was just amazing that the service people went out of their way to take care of all of my concerns at the same time. I have not had a bad experience with Sutton Ford. In fact as strange at it may seem I like going there because all of the employees are so friendly and not pushy. they will answer all of your concerns and want you to walk away happy. Abe was extremely helpful and got me into the truck I really wanted. I told him what I needed to be at for my trade in and he got me that number no questions asked which you don’t see often. He was very personable and not pushy on buying extras and the whole “Used car salesman” cliche. I would definitely recommend seeing Abe if you’re in the market for a new vehicle.

Come into the place looking for a GT500 and walked around the car for 10 minutes before someone took the initiative to welcome us. I was introduced to my sales rep that never asked any personable question. I was there for three hours and my rep sat in front of us in his desk for about eight minutes. I did not feel welcomed at all. I was approved for the vehicle and they never took it off the floor for another hour when they could have and start prepping it.When singing the papers they didnt explain anything and expect you to sign the papers electronically before revealing rates or terms.They didnt put all the parts in the car now I have to drive 1.5 hours to the place. This was determined four days later, 4 emails and 5 phone calls later. No offer to deliver since it was there doing.I buy a new vehicle every three years and I wouldnt come back to this place nor recommend. Not one minute did I feel welcomed.At the end we had to ask the personal questions to break the ice.

One star for their business practice because theyre trying to get a $1,000 deposit on a new Ford Maverick that is non-refundable so if youre reading this pay special attention to the non-refundable part there are plenty of other dealerships out there who will take $500 and theyre refundable! They posted a 2017 Escape Titanium. I called on a Friday to check availability, it was there. Saturday, I was looking at vehicles in Elgin and Huntley. On the way back home, I called again to check availability and was told it was still available.Drove about 80 miles only to find out that vehicle never existed. The sales rep got the keys an we were about to get into an SE, not even the same color. Someone made up the ad.This was a typical car dealer scam to lure people in and Im sorry I fell for that. I thought car dealers were past being shady. Not Sutton Ford. I wasted over 3 hours. What a terribly unethical dealership. Good luck to all who buy from them, glad I found out who they were ahead of time.***Update, response to owner** You guys called me and I advised I would not consider purchasing a vehicle from you. Its been 28 days since I purchased a vehicle from Sutton. They still have not paid off my previous vehicle but they did sell it a week ago because I stopped in because they didnt pay off my car and I wanted to know why. So I went there they said they would send an overnight check for payoff. Its been a week since that and my finance company said it is still not paid off and want me to make a payment. Every time I try to call the manager or a finance person. It just rings and nobody will take me call expect the front desk.

I will say that Tiffany Walker was lovely and a pleasure to work with and Shannon is very pleasant as well.My husband and I drove two hours to look at a vehicle, made an appointment, test drove, filled out all necessary paperwork etc, then after being at the dealership for two hours, someone came to tell us that someone else purchased the van 20 minutes before us. When I voiced how upset I was I was told they “didn’t know someone else was buying the van.” And we given a shrug and too bad. So unbelievably unprofessional.

What ever the list price is, go ahead and add 3-4K in bogus fees they don’t advertise on list price. A bunch of add ons they do to a used vehicle for protection of paint, anti theft, glass protectant. But be ready to pay that price.

They are making customers fool by giving attractive prices online for cars to bring the customer in and then finally they are putting lot of hidden charges in the form of this warranty and that warranty and protection packages which are not in hundred. Those charges are in thousands. DONT GET INTO TRAP.

Found Sutton Ford online while looking for a f150, made an appointment to see a truck I found and upon arrival the truck was not there, instead being used for a demo which was pretty inconvenient considering I made an appointment specifically for that truck. My salesman Anthony helped me find another truck and I went with that one- no problem he was very helpful. I had asked for a new tire to replace a damaged one on the truck and they replaced it with a brand new different style tire. I was somewhat alarmed by them replacing only one tire with the other three used tires having over sixteen thousand miles on them. Really would like to have all 4 tires the same and with more similar mileage on them. I’m not satisfied with that and believe they could have done better. Being a “car guy” I’m particular and spent a lot of money on this truck, it just doesn’t sit right with me and I believe it’s bad business to say the least. They did give me an extra key when I asked for a spare which was nice, but coming from a big dealership that I had found online with decent ratings- I expect much better and am disappointed.

Couple words about dealer - Overcharge, hidden fee, take advantage of you, and more…This dealer giving price 35.000$ and after you will waste 4-7 hours of your life it will jump to to 44.000$. 9.000$ hidden fee’s.This dealer will give you price for 66 months and when you will accept it, they will somehow hide it in documents(hand covered) and when you signed you will find out that it was 75 months with same monthly payment like for 66 so you will over pay for it
