We took my 4 year old to get her ears pierced and I can say enough good things. Ryan was the one who pierced her and he was phenomenal. He was professional and likable and made sure she was comfortable and spoken too like a big girl. He was excellent and I recommend them to anyone!

Everyone in this shop is great. I had Thomas and had a wonderful time he helped me through all of it having my tattoo in a very painful area. Having other tattoos as well from another person a long time ago. However the time with Thomas was one of the best and honestly least painful Ive had with one. Got four lobe piercings here years ago, and a cartilage piercing about a month ago. ryan was amazing and the piercings are healed or healing well! really cute earrings too! would definitely recommend for piercing! also the front of house (i think her name was abby) was super helpful and nice!

Jamie Clinton is a brilliant, creative, efficient, dependable, and punctual tattoo artist. Hes done a dozen or so tattoos on me and I cant recommend him enough. His wealth of experience really shines in his execution of vivid and dynamic color combinations that make my other tattooed friends jealous . Jamies talent for coverups and refurbishing tattoos cannot be understated . I take pride in tattoos that Jamie has fixed that I used to be disgusted with. Hes my one and only artist and friends that Ive recommended him to have never been disappointed with his talent . Go see him !

First off, the staff here run by Jordan are amazing. They are involved, attentive, and funny to have conversations with. They are all subject matter experts in their craft, and have many years of experience. Jordan did a two session tattoo for me that was dedicated to my mother who passed away in 2017 of pancreatic cancer. He quickly and willing accepted to do the tattoo for me, and I couldnt be any happier. The detail and passion involved in this tattoo really sets him and his shop apart from anyone else. If you are considering a tattoo, and live anywhere near Matthews, this has to be the place for you. My wife has gotten her tattoo from Jordan as well, and we have other friends looking to do the same. Book now, as Jordan stays busy. I’ve been here twice for piercings and each time had a great experience! The biggest thing I was looking for with a piercing shop was cleanliness and Divine arts is very clean! I went last year for a triple flat piercing and Ryan was awesome. Super friendly and professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I went in for my nostril about a week ago and they are handling COVID very well. Ryan was great and made it as painless as possible! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Went in for a forward helix piercing! Phenomenal experience. The real magic is when a week later one of the balls fell off while I was getting ready. I called to see if I was able to stop in without an appointment and to my surprise I was told yes! I was able to go by the shop (followed all COVID precautions) and Ryan was able to successfully secure my earring! No charge! Actually changed the position to make future earring changes easier!!! Excellent service and super rad people! 🤙🏼

Thomas did a fantastic job. Due to Covid you have to go in alone for a tattoo but Thomas made me feel relaxed and was reassuring during the whole process! I am absolutely in love with my new ink and it feels like it was always supposed to be there. The talent is oozing out of this shop, everyone is really good at what they do and it doesn’t hurt that they are cool people too!

I came here to get my nose pierced and felt welcomed first off, felt completely professional and clean. I got a tattoo by Jamie he did great work love it! And got a belly button piercing by I dont remember his name but he made me feel relaxed and comfortable.

They have me exactly what I asked for. It was my first one and Im thrilled with his it turned out.

I got a double cartilage piercing here. It was my first piercing behind my ear lobes. They put in two large hoops that’s snagged on everything. The piercing never healed and should not have been pierced with a hoop. I had to take them out after irritation bumps formed.

I’m obsessed with the beautiful tattoo I received from Thomas Harkness at Divine Arts Tattoo. Not only did he do an amazing job translating what I wanted into a beautiful work of art, but he patiently put up with me as I tweaked things along the way (Thomas, those peony leaves are perfection!). I have no doubt that I’ll be back again in the future...although it might take me a few years to decide EXACTLY what I want!

I got work done twice here! I was very happy both times. I just recently got a armband by Jordan and he is very friendly and does excellent work! I didn’t think I would ever get my domestic scar covered but he really made my day when he did a awesome job covering my scar and putting my deceased moms name on my arm. The whole staff is very customer friendly and great with making sure they keep appointments even in this covid pandemic. They are very sterile and take cleanliness and customer service seriously. I am very happy with all the services I got.

I got a revamp on a tattoo I highly regretted. My expectations were BEYOND met. I had Thomas. He used a spray to make my arm numb and it really didnt hurt much. He was able to explain everything as he was going along. I have found my tattoo place!!

Ive been to this shop a number of times for body mods for myself and to support friends. The shop is very clean. Ryan is a great piercer, and I will always recommend him because of his gentle and reassuring manner (also good sanitation practices). I got my first tattoo with Jordan, and Im glad I went with him! He was respectful and professional throughout my appointment, and Im so happy with my tattoo! Its been a year and the line work still looks beautiful -no touchups necessary. Such a great staff of very talented artists! Jordan, Ryan and Charlie all do amazing work and are very sweet. They take time to answer any and all questions, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. As sometime that works in the medical profession, I am very critical of Infection Control guidelines and can say with absolute certainty these guys pay meticulous attention to them. I have been here many times and 5 stars isnt high enough! I recommend them to everyone; from the parents getting their childs first ear piercing to a someone working on full sleeves and anything in between...

Just returned from my second trip to get tattooed by Jordan. Drove down 7hrs. from WV for 2 days of tattooing. Did the same last October. Jordan finished both my sleeves. Great shop, great people, and great work. Jordan went to dinner with me and my family and made sure the wife and daughters knew the local spots during the day. So when I say youre treated like family, youre treated like family! Its well worth the 7 hours I drive.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is great and helpful. The facility is clean and sanitary. The owner Jordan takes real pride in his work and shop. My sister came for a surprise visit and we really wanted tattoos but they were booked for a few days. The tattoos we wanted were small and would only take 10 minutes a piece. The owner squeezed us in between two appointments since my sister was leaving the next day. We could not be happier with the kindness and hospitality that they showed to us. My sister has since moved to Colorado and I will not see her for another year. So the fact that we have these matching tattoos to always keep us close makes me proud. I will not go back to anywhere in Charlotte unless it is here. You would make a mistake going anywhere else because Jordan and his crew are very talented artists.

They are great for the prices! But the biggest issues that I had was that 2 days after I got my nose pierced, I had to go to a different shop to help me get the correct size! The jewelry that he gave me was way to short and started to embed in my skin and leave a hole in my nose. Luckily I found someone to change it and give me a new piece so it could heal properly. Nice place but don’t get a nose piercing here. Hate this happened.

I have gotten two pieces done by Bobby OShea and he is awesome. I really like the rest of the staff there also. They will make you feel right at home. All the artist are very open minded. They all will work with your schedule as much as possible but Bobby is my favorite. If your considering to get ink done give them a shout and I promise they wont disappoint!

When I got my nose pierced, it fell out the same night and when I came back Ryan took care of me and repierced it for me. I went here 2 weeks ago on New Years day to get a nose piercing.... Basically because they were the only shop open. Bad idea. The piercer was friendly but VERY inexperienced. He literally pierced the same nostril area 3 times because he couldnt figure out how to get the ring in...claiming it was too short. ( This is a nose screw Earring btw...A titanium one that i Had purchased myself because i have sensitive skin). There was sooooo much blood. Super traumatic. Then at the last minute, He decided to put a different Ring in that they had laying in a drawer at the shop (Did not clean it... And significantly shorter than the noise screw i bought With me.... A nose bone earring)....claiming it was surgical steel & wouldnt cause irritation. The placement was also off, way too left on the nostril, making my nose look bigger... Literally a disaster. Wish experience ever.... And did i mention the blood? I cried for an hour after that, just from the pain, soreness and keloid Scar that i knew was sure to come after that traumatic experience. To make matters worse, they still charged me full price... More because they used their own dirty earring. zFAST FORWARD 2 WEEKS LATER: and Ive experienced pain, pus, discomfort, peeling off my skin around the piercing area only, anddddd lastly, today a dark ring around the piercing because the piercer Lied about the type of metal the earring was made of. Im beyond disappointed. MORTIFIED. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS
